Noticing the other boy surveying him, he was on edge, but decided that since Wyatt analyzed his appearance, he deemed it fair. Vincent took his eyes off Wyatt and looked behind the messy hair for a moment, but Wyatt decided not to turn around, maybe he was just admiring a dress, some of them were… interesting. Big puffy dresses with bigger puffy fluffy scarfs or whatever you’d call them. Wyatt noticed Vincent’s expression change for a moment, as if he was thinking of something- or remembering something- but it went back to the kind smize after a moment. He turned his attention back to the shorter Slytherin.Interacting with @Vincent d'Arque
That’s when Wyatt remembered,
“I’m Wyatt.”
The blonde boy put on a big smile. It was nice, the smile seemed sincere. Wyatt bit back a smile of his own, desperate not to look like an idiot talking to someone clearly cooler than he was, or at least someone more comfortable in a setting such as this. Vincent held out his hand, and Wyatt shook it. Formal. He decided to look the other boy in the eye while he shook his hand, as it was polite, and forget about the last part of his plan. Wyatt released his hand, his face expressionless. Honestly, Wyatt was exhausted and came to the ball out of boredom. He'd been doing homework practically all day, and just needed a break. Putting an expression on his face would be wasting energy he didn't need to waste, more like deciding what expression to use would waste all his energy before he actually put it on.
"Hi Wyatt, good to meet you. Hopefully I didn’t startle you.”
I guess he noticed my pause. This kid was quite observant, probably a Ravenclaw.
“I don't think I have ever seen you around, what house are you from?
“I’m a Slytherin, and you?”
Proud of his house, Wyatt replied almost immediately. His mother was a Slytherin, and so were both of her parents. He felt like he belonged to something in Slytherin.

Arlo’s hand clapped over his mouth as his eyes grew wide with shock. It would take a couple seconds before he realized that Marion had just threw her drink onto Thomas’ face. He handled it well and in most circumstances the little boy probably would have burst out in laughter. It was a comical routine that was as old as...comedy. However, it would not be humor that gripped young Arlo. It would be a call to action.
“Yeah, bugger off Thomas!” he attempted to back Marion up as he stood by her side, arms crossed.
It would be then that Victor would step in and secretly Arlo was grateful. He was indeed a courageous boy, but would be more than lacking in any physical confrontation. Judging by Marion’s shove, so would she. Victor’s interference proved enough to pull Thomas’ attention away from them. After calling out to Marion to keep watch on his bag he whisked the second year off for a dance.
The duffel would hit the floor with a thud before Marion drifted off to the concession table. Uh...Marion...he just asked you to watch over this. Arlo though you himself, but no bother. As her date, he would dutifully take watch over Victor’s belongings. Worried that someone might step on or trip over the bag, the boy bent down to pick it up for safe keeping. It was as if he was trying to move a boulder the bag was so heavy. “Merlin’s sake Victor, whatcha got in here?!” he spoke to only himself.
Arlo would feel a presence to his side as Marion returned and offered a drink to Victor. ”Is he gonna be alright?” he asked her with a bit of concern. It seemed like the tension might reach a breaking point. “Maybe we should just take his bag and go off to the stands like you wanted? We’ll keep it safe for him.” Arlo would begin to drag the bag away, very slowly.

Aaron was shocked to hear the next words come out of Evelynn's mouth. Hurt her? Rafael hurt Lydia? Was he capable of such a thing? Because he could tell by the way the auburnette said the phrase, she meant physically. It wasn't about hurting her feelings, because it was pretty clear that must've happened. Evelynn actually seemed to be concerned that Rafael had physically harmed his blue-haired best friend, and that put a horrified expression on his face. He looked at Lydia with expectant eyes, hoping she would deny the outrageous claim. Surely the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain wasn't so brazen as to hurt a girl… right?Briefly Interacting with @Alexis Asterion and @Ariana Walker

Interacting with @Lydia Cooper

All Aaron noted was Lydia's confused expression before Ariana Walker appeared. Aaron tried to wipe the worry from his face as his friend commented on his outfit. "Thanks, Ari. You look nice as well," he said, instinctively returning the compliment. And she did look nice with her very pink outfit, but he wasn't sure how genuine he sounded. He was pretty distracted by his best friend's misery. It seemed like Lydia was still unable to hide her distress, because Ariana immediately picked up on it and connected it to Rafael. How Aaron wished he could go and punch the stupid boy's lights out, but he was clearly needed here more. And he trusted that Ariana - with her temper and fiery personality - might be able to leave a lasting impression on him. Of course, it wouldn't stop Aaron from having a talk with Rafael later.
Ariana stormed off in Rafael's direction, but Aaron didn't take his eyes off of Lydia as he waited for her to address Evelynn's question. Surely it wasn't true? Aaron felt quite relieved when she denied that her date had hurt her, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to what Evelynn had asked. She knew Rafael better than Lydia or Aaron, and for her to suggest such a thing was-
Aaron's attention was once again distracted by the arrival of another girl, this time unfamiliar. She introduced herself to Evelynn as Alexis Asterion. He offered a small, slightly uncomfortable smile. She had come at quite a tense moment in the conversation, and her arrival had caused Lydia to suddenly stop speaking. "Hi, Alexis. I'm Aaron, this is Lydia," he introduced, ever the charismatic host. He didn't want to make the newcomer feel unwelcome, but she couldn't have arrived at a worse time. He knew that Lydia would want to leave. And no sooner had he thought this, Lydia hooked her arm into his. He offered an apologetic look at both Evelynn and Alexis, and mouthed the word sorry to them before turning away.
Aaron now put his full attention on his blue-haired companion. The twelve-year-old felt a little bit of anxiety seeing the black-and-white tiled dance floor, but he knew that Lydia wasn't about to judge his lack of dancing skills. There was a much more pressing matter at hand. He nervously stood in the middle of the dance floor, but Lydia took lead and grabbed his hand and put her other on his shoulder. When he looked around at the other, older dancers he noticed the boy usually had his free hand on the girl's waist. Aaron's dark eyes traveled to Lydia's waist, and he tried to ignore the discomfort as he placed his hand there and began to take awkward steps side to side with her. It became clear to him that she probably knew as much about dancing as he did.
When he finally looked into Lydia's teary green eyes, all of his dancing concerns disappeared. Wow, he felt like a crappy friend. Worrying about embarrassing himself on the dance floor when his strawberry blonde friend was clearly heartbroken about something.
"Don't worry, Lyd," he said, feeling an intense need to hug her. Aaron resisted the urge for now, wanting to maintain eye contact as they spoke. "I'm sure Evelynn understands," he said, frowning intensely. It wasn't often that one could witness Aaron Jones with anything less than a smile on his face, but now was one of those times. "So.. what happened?" he asked gently, hoping that the tears didn't fall from her eyes. He didn't know what he would do if she suddenly broke down in tears right then and there. Well, of course he would hold her and let her cry, but he knew the last thing she probably wanted was a big scene. Would he need to escort her back to the common room?! The boy waited with bated breath, prepared to hear all about how Rafael and had royally screwed up.

»»————————- ♔ ————————-««Silvery eyes tracked Willow's form as the other through the crowds and made conversation with random people- the bubbly blonde looked at home mingling and interacting with people with an easiness that Astrea could only dream to have in another life. The Huffle lass was popular- and for good reason-, suckering people Astrea had only spoken to at the bare minimum at best.
Astrea leaned stoically against the walls of the pitch, looking simultaneously tiny against the towering smooth walls and yet somehow intimidating in how she carried herself. Cool water swirled idly inside of the silver chalice she held by the silver stem within her hand. a tiny controlled whirlwind of crystal liquid trapped in a pocket universe of argent. The water was sweet against her tongue, cooling the tops of her fingers with the crisp aura emitted through the metal.
Once again her attention was drawn to a lustrous gold rose clip and the swishy champagne of a certain Hufflepuff's outfit- this time faced towards the pretty duo of Ana and Dale and accompanied by very suspicious Rafael. Out of the small gathered group, it was quite a first for Astrea to say that she was acquainted with all of the four, though at varying degrees. The intricate loops that crowned Ana were impeccable even after a trip from the castle to the pitch, which was a feat in itself looped around tiny ivory pearls. Her fellow aristocrat was a shimmery pale pink beacon of wealth with just how large her dress was, obviously intended for the ballroom and no doubt hiding something- Astrea didn't know what exactly- right underneath, whether wire armature to keep it up or just a copious amount of stiff fabric, it didn't matter. Perhaps that's was why her dress was so big. It was full of secrets.
The young heiress watched on as Rafael took up a defensive stance before practically dragging Willow away- a bubble of concern coloured her mood as she stared down the self-sacrificial wall of a boy that the Quidditch captain was from where she was- and opened up a conversation between the remaining two. Rafael and Dale were part of the minority of students that towered tall over the diminutive mass of students, so it was very hard to miss the black-and-beige clad leaving and Dale's much more pastel dressed frame standing next to Ana's dress.
Half of her was completely revolted at the waste of such pretty material of the male's suit. Last time the two had truly spoken to each other had been at the Tea Party, a short greeting in which Dale had been dressed quite casually compared to the current moment- clad head to toe in a cherry-blossom printed Mimi pink suit over a button-up, she was almost impressed at the fit and how unapologetic the other seemed to don it. Though, the bewildered expression upon the other's face looked more like he had taken a drink of something just as nauseating as the attempted imitation of an embroidered sakura painting from feudal Japan.
As entertaining as people-watching was, Astrea had approached the ball with the idea that she would interact with at least one person to scope out Hogwarts' range of students and she had only taken to brooding sullenly in the corner like the slightly shady person you wouldn't want to go up to alone without a plan to accomplish that she was. A truly disappointing night it was turning out to be- but she would change that. Far more comfortable with the idea of approaching the two already known than attempting to eavesdrop on the scary amount of children gathered in cliques jabbering on with small talk, she pushed herself off of the wall with all the elegance of a cat, took yet another sip from the cool water, and let out a deep breath.
If the duo were to notice her person before her presence approaching them, they would have heard the clicking of her heels against the strangely solid grounds before anything, distinctive noises with a smoothness that bellied great experience. She gave a respectful nod to both, raising her chalice slightly in greeting.

Secret Blossom Ball
A splash of pumpkin juice, an ineffective shove, and defensive yelp were enough to double the crowd now surrounding Thomas. First, the entrance of a Gryffindor with the bone structure of a future basketball professional, much taller than your average first year. He towered over his presumed date, a Hufflepuff girl with a charming visage and delightful green eyes [Lydia | acknowledging ability]. The former Thomas has encountered once before, a classroom partnership highlighted by a steady trade of insults. If not for the Slytherin’s preoccupation with Victor, part two would be in order.
"Thomas, loving the pumpkin juice look"
Rafael reacted as Thomas expected, one could even go as far to say it was an underwhelming introduction. With a dramatic turn and head tilt to view Rafa, Thomas’ lips parted slightly, intending to retort, but closed again. Rafael appeared to have a sense of urgency about him, disinterested in the reaction Thomas provided. The Gryffindor captain’s eyes darted around the pitch, mind seemingly elsewhere. “Rafael, I see they stopped withholding the nonentities entrance.”
The Gryffindor confirmed his odd behavior, storming off without an explanation, only adding to the ever-growing unease his date displayed. It appeared he was indifferent to her needs, or simply too daft to realize how his lack of consideration affected the girl. Thomas surely noticed her solemn expression, any emotional cues sourced from sorrow were all too familiar with the boy. The difference between Rafa and Thomas? Rafael did not notice, Thomas did not care.
Thomas intermittently glanced towards Rafa to understand his unusual exit. Perhaps an attempt to make his date jealous or playing the role of a typical hard to get boy-toy. A good explanation had better be in order, as any eyes that followed him would see a sketchy approach to the flowers Victor initially gifted to his date. Followed by picking up yet another girl, a blonde that appeared as if she was blowing a bubblegum bubble, but…without the bubble. What was next, you ask? You guessed it, Rafael then stopped to give flowers to a different girl. Clearly there were more to his intentions that meet the eye, but from afar it appeared the boy was a pimp recruiting for his adolescent call house. [Sorry, all jokes.]
“Thomas, why is it, that you’re covered in pumpkin juice, again?” Rafa followed up on his initial question.
“Careful, you’re next.” Thomas nodded at the visibly upset part-veela.
So you decided to take someone else's date, And swapped teams,"
A smirk of relief, Victor trended to humor over hostility, though still firmly against Thomas. “Would have returned her.” A swap of teams? Oh, right, sexuality. A foreign concept, Thomas was not interested in petty romances. If he were, he would have swept the pretty temporary blue-head off her feet the moment Rafa walked away. “What can I say, I’m a switch hitter.” Thomas quipped with a wink, referencing a baseball player that hits from both sides of the plate.
"While dancing? Why are you here LeStrange? Bothering my friend... going dancing with my bag... Mary, Keep an eye on this. Going to chat with your accessory Prince,"
With a subdued grimace, Thomas shook his head gently at his verbal error. Fuck, I meant Selim. A moot point, it was unlikely Victor would have handed his bag off to Thomas’ deadpan counterpart. All that was missing from his profile as an executioner was the oversized axe. Without hesitation Victor handed the bag off to Mary as he called her. Thomas walked with Victor towards the dance floor, a muted chuckle escaped his lips, turning back to offer a conceited smile. “Yes, Mary, do make yourself useful.”
Upon approach to the dancefloor, Thomas closed his eyes, refocusing on the current part of his agenda. Victor tightened space between them, taking his hand to begin their classical ballroom twirl. Thomas battled with the body’s urge to occasionally cringe, another drink was certainly in order. Lost in the shuffle was Selim Faust, but Thomas suppressed concerns. Despite his limited information pertaining to this evening’s goal, he was capable enough to make himself useful during Thomas’ dance. Thomas remained silent initially, taking note at the contrast the pair presented, an all-white suit against his black.
"What is your game”
Wait, I’m supposed to be the one questioning. It appeared Victor possessed a few more brain cells than his blonde sis. He deduced there was more to Thomas’ interest than a simple attraction. It prompted the friendly act to decay beneath the surface of his visage, narrowing his eyes with a piercing glare. “I could ask you the same question.”
How many of you are there?
Blue eyes remained fixated on Victor, a subtle shake of the head. “I work alone.”
Did you really think I was going to let you hurt Mary?
“If that were my intention, I would have done it already. She’s seen scary things, answers to a scary boy, and misplaces her trust in…the wrong people" He dished an amused nod at the boy opposite him. Yes, Victor, you. “I have never laid a finger on Mary, nor do I intend to…I only pried too deep. She is…emotional, you must know. How could she not be after the things she has seen?” He reiterated a point he made clear to Marion many times the day he met her at the Owlery. Implications may fly over Victor’s head. While vague, Thomas thought the message would click after contemplation. “I only meant to help.”
“Thomas, are you okay? What the hell happened to you? I need you to tell me so that I can help this situation.”
The passive aggressive dance halted with the arrival of Victor's date. Uh, do I know you? The words traveling through the boy’s mind may have been considered barbaric, and the only thing preventing this release was his mistakenly ingenuine act for Victor. “I’m fine? There’s nothing to do.”
"I see you guys... know each other? Why don't...You both take a spin on the dancefloor, his boyfriend ditched him."
“We..don’t?” Thomas glanced over to the Gryffindor girl (Wren). She must have learned his name in passing or through a mutual acquaintance, as he has never seen her before this evening. Victor walked away shortly after, leaving the pair in an awkward position amongst the few dancers. Thomas wasted no time pulling the flask from his breast pocket for a sip, glancing over to the girl. “Danced out.” Shutting down any thoughts of a dance, he held the flask out as an offer.“Drink?” Thomas knew her answer but offered anyway. She may or may not have known it was fire whiskey, but all the signs were there. “See you around.” Given her status as Victor’s date, he continued to take the kids glove approach. At least his version, where the only suppression of verbal barbs was an alcoholic beverage. Thomas would make a great alcoholic stepfather yet.
The seed has been planted, now patience was the key. To see the planted ideal grow within its subject, toxic thorns prodding the back of his mind. It would not be the last he has seen of Victor this evening. Thomas returned the flask within his breast pocket, learning to pace himself after last summer’s Blossomfest. The debacle that ended with a special lady that even a desperate drunk would decline. The boy approached an empty table, or at least he thought it was an empty table. Any non-priority was merely background noise he consciously chose to fade. Upon taking his seat, he propped his feet atop the table, leaning leisurely low into the chair of choice. Some inanimate objects may have been knocked over, perhaps someone’s crumpet or beverage. The icy glaze only contributed to the body language; the boy gave zero fucks. Knowing all too well his roboassassin would find him shortly.
Then came the click. A few moments pass, another click. Click, click, click. Thomas lazily rolled his head to the side, annoyed blue eyes looking for the source. It was her. Camera girl. “Oi.” As if an old man in a recliner whistling for his dog, he remains unmoved from his comfortable position, adding another lazy rumble to get her attention. If she did not notice the first time, he would only time each click with a new sound. “AHEM.” This cycle would continue until the girl took notice. And once he found those sapphire blue eyes, he would offer a dominant smile, pretentious even. “Have a minute? Join me.”

It wasn't a question that she had wanted to ask. In fact, Evelynn couldn't imagine anybody wishing to ask such a question. It was personal, for one, but also implied that there existed the possibility that the answer could be positive. Which, shouldn't ever have been the case. But Evelynn knew firsthand what D'Spacito was capable of — what several students at the school were capable of — and it had been a question she thought needed to be asked. Especially since it was only too common for people to turn a blind eye to such things. Someone had to be the one to break the ice and make it known that it was okay to talk about it if it was, in fact, true.
What she saw behind those strained eyes wasn't confirmation, however. There was uncertainty, almost confusion, as though she were trying to grasp the true meaning of what Evelynn was trying to decipher. Which, of course, suggested that her question had been asked in err. Too late to pull it back now, though. And really, the silent warning that went along with the question wasn't necessarily a bad thing, either. But it seemed she wouldn't get the verbal confirmation right away.
The arrival of one of the Gryffindor's beaters (Walker) had interrupted the tense moment, dissipating some of the strain that had built with the pause that had impregnated the air with the hanging of the question. Not having been among those addressed by the brunette, Evelynn simply watched on in silence, gaze panning now and then to Cooper to get a better read on her immediate emotions. She was keeping it together — whatever it was — remarkably well. What had D'Spacito done? Ah, but then Walker noticed and began to put two and two together. That was… less convenient. Evelynn had been planning to confront D'Spacito herself about some of what she had just observed. But…As she watched on after Walker's disappearing form, that seemed like less of a possibility at this point. She shrugged a brow. Everyone seemed so quick to action…
She snapped her attention back to Cooper as the girl began to speak up again, Evelynn's expression immediately one of empathetic concern once again. The words hung in the air. The Gryffindor didn't believe a single one of them. The girl did, though, or seemed to at least; but Evelynn had witnessed just how quickly D'Spacito could go from self-horror at an action to taking one that was arguably even worse and somehow justifying it as reasonable. His fury was akin to gunpowder. All it took was the right spark to set it off.
"I'm glad," she responded nonetheless, chin bobbing slightly to demonstrate her understanding. Still, she couldn't help but glance in Jones' direction, and found that he likewise seemed unsettled. Good. At least there would be someone looking out for her, then.
Whatever else Cooper had been about to say, however, was cut short. Yet another individual had made themselves known, interjecting into the conversation, and for a moment, Evelynn felt a pang of irritation. Only for a second, however. Grey eyes fell onto the image of a very lovely brunette (Asterion) in an elegant dress of a hue not far different from her own. She had a certain air of elegance about her, the new arrival, and her face was not one that Evelynn could easily place, although she thought she might have recognised her from class at least. The surname confirmed that, and the verbalisation of her recognition of Evelynn wiped any hints of residual annoyance from her mind. This was new. Granted, she wasn't ignorant to the fact that she'd be better known to most than they would be to her, but it wasn't every day that someone actually approached her with that in mind.
"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Asterion," Evelynn replied, her tone pleasantly confused, although still flecked with a hint of restraint, residual from the strained interaction with Cooper. "You're very kind to say so. You do as well. A bold statement with the cut," she smiled, eyes dipping momentarily to the V-neck, "and the colour complements your complexion well." And. Not but. It was a bold statement, and that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It spoke of confidence and an enigmatic aura. Although, in this case, it seemed a bit.. well.. overly mature.
"By all means," Evelynn said, motioning with a flat palm to one of the open seats at the table. Every seat aside from her own was open after all.
Cooper cut in then with her intent to retreat from the conversation, and the accompanying apology. "It's alright," Evelynn said, offering what she hoped would come across as a sympathetic smile. "Take him for as long as you need." And then when Jones mouthed Sorry!, she just shook her head and waved a hand dismissively.
"Sorry about that," the little lioness continued, as though there had been no break. Then listened to Asterion's own lamentation. "I.. No, I'll admit, I don't know you," Evelynn stated, shifting in her chair to more fully face this mystery figure. She leaned in propping her elbows upon the table and linking her fingers together to serve as a perch upon which she lightly touched her chin. "But that's not to say that I can't now."
And she was rather intrigued. But all of this, actually. First Jones, then d'Arque, then Cooper and Walker, and now this Asterion. Admittedly, she had thought she'd be able to disappear into the crowd and make herself inconspicuous while in the open, but evidently, she'd only succeeded on making herself open. Yet, while it made her intended mission a might bit difficult, she couldn't help but wonder if this wasn't a coincidence. It was a ridiculous notion, really, to think that this girl might have been sent as a distraction. But then again… was that so silly?
"And this is a ball!" Evelynn smiled, one brow lofting with mild amusement. "I imagine you're supposed to drink and eat and dance and socialize. You're doing the last, at least, so you have to be doing something right," she laughed. "You could always ask someone to dance."
And as though like clockwork, some boy — the one in black, actually, (Lestrange) that she had seen 'conversing' with Davenport — came traipsing over from the dancefloor and rather unceremoniously sat himself into one of the chairs of the table nearest to them. She gave Asterion a what about him? look, eyes dipping briefly in his direction before glancing back to Asterion to read her reaction. Granted, that was before he started obnoxiously hollering for… someone?
"Ah… perhaps not," Evelynn commented with veiled derision. "So, what do you want to do? What came to mind when you thought to attend a school ball?"
Action: Currently seated at a table near the dancefloor, conversing with Asterion, and periodically watching certain members of the dancefloor, as well as the rather interesting group who has consistently drawn her attention

Secret Blossom Ball
Interacting with @Pericles Dralt
Currently: Dancing the Macarena with Pericles
Breana twisted and turned in an almost graceful way, her movements slowing down as the music surrounding the fields turned into a more pleasant ensemble. She has slowly gotten accustomed to dancing alone. Then her imagination flooded through her as the whimsy in her to dance with someone came back in her mind. She tried to ignore it, but her movement on the dance floor changed. If one would look at her long enough, the steps that Breana was doing looked like she was dancing with an invisible partner.
As she gave herself a slow twirl, She looked up as she heard a familiar and delightful voice ringing beside her. "Peri!!" She clamored, almost tripping as she stopped her twirling. She cleared her throat, quickly patting and smoothening the skirt of her dress. "I-i uh, didn't see you there..." She stammered, trying to keep her posture in a formal manner. It's not her usual way of presenting herself but considering that she knew that Pericles was of pure blood and how he could've had a brush with such formalities, it might be more suitable for him that she'd have a stiff upper lip.
As the fair-skinned lad complimented her outfit, it was not ambiguous that her rose-painted cheeks became redder with each word. "I, er... Thank you so much..." She laughed softly, still holding a bit of her usual chirpy laughter to keep herself composed. "It was my mother's, actually. She helped sew it to fit me while I added the sleeves." She smiled, swaying a bit to show the flow of the dress. "Huh? The-the dance?" As Breana asked, she let out a loud laughter, finally letting go of the formal facade as she watched Pericles mimic the macarena.
"Noooo! Nonono, Per! Here," And Breana stood beside her, showing him the start of it all. "First, ya gotta hold out your arms like this. Then turn your palms upward and stuff, just to get in time with the music. And then, cross them to touch your shoulders." She said, mimicking the moves that she instructed. "Then you touch your head, then your hips..." She then humorously wiggled her hips. "Then you do this and ayyyyyy macarena!" She trilled out, giggling as she jumped to turn. "Then rinse and repeat in a different direction!" THe tiny girl continued the dance, laughing at how quick she was to get back into the silly dances again.

Secret Blossom Ball
Interacting with @Isadora Ramone and mentions @Evelynn Decipio
"Oh...um, no I don't think I've met her yet," the girl replied to him as she looked at Evelyn herself. The girl in question had finally made her way to a table and began talking to the other students, her ever present smile annoying him by the second. It was a stretch that a random student would know her name, but it was worth the ask none the less "Shame..." Percy said with a mutter, before gulping down the last bit of his water and placing the cup on the table beside him. Soon enough, the girl beside him questioned him again "Is she a friend of yours or??" she noticed the irritation on his face as he stared at the girl. "I'm guessing 'or'...do you want to talk about it? Or...I could wander away if you would prefer to be alone with your thoughts. We don't even know each others name so it could be like I was never here!"
Percy looked down to the floor and sighed, before looking back to the girl "No, i'm afraid not. She's more of an annoyance then anything." He said over to her, a hand going to one of his pockets to check if his "present" was still there "And please stay if you wish, I don't bite..." the Slytherin joked, although it may not show due to his straight face "And you're right, we haven't introduced ourselves yet. The name is Percival, Percival Gray" Percy said while extending his hand over to her, hoping she would accept it soon or later respectfully "I suggest you keep an eye for anything out of place, you never know what's going to happen these days"
Action: Talking to @Isadora Ramone and attempts to shake her hand.

Secret Blossom Ball
Santario should have asked for more film as she was about halfway through the second to the last roll in her possession. Then again, she wasn’t used to photographing events like this. Typically, her time was spent alone capturing the beauty of the scenery or in the common room late at night, where she managed to get a photo of the squid through the windows. Then there were her trips walking down the lake as close to the forbidden forest as she was reasonably allowed to get, but nothing beats eerie moving black and white photos of the forest's edge. They looked still until a tree or two were disturbed by a creature’s movement, or the breeze helped the trees mimic such an event.Interacting with | @Thomas Lestrange
Mentioning | @Vincent d'Arque
Really, she had never planned on coming to this ball in the first place, not after what she went through after the last ball, and especially not after what San heard happened after she went to the infirmary. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she took photos of the dancers, some in pairs and some enjoying the music unhindered by a partner. Santario was unaware that someone’s (Vincent) eyes were on her. She paused for just a moment watching the reaper boy (Thomas Lestrange) get some sort of drink thrown on him through her lens. This was not something that Santario took a picture of. Her grandmother probably would have murdered her if she had. Going on about things like that being disrespectful and not proper behavior. Instead, she relocated.
Santario slowly, pausing for some photos here and there, made her way away from the side of the dance floor. Closer to the entrance, her second roll of film was nearing its end. Her camera bag bounced gently against her left hip, causing the skirt of her dress to sit a little askew. Taking a moment to adjust her skirts, she would look around and manage to snap a few photos of people she had not seen initially. The photographs started to feel a little redundant, maybe moving to a different location altogether would make the last roll in her bag better or bring at least give her some variety to what she was looking it. An Oi called out something she did not expect was directed at her. She had done a decent job of blending into the background for the most part. However, as she clicked the last photo in that roll, an AHEM resonated through the din. The timing was too coincidental, and that wasn’t exactly something she believed in.
Removing the camera from her face, those sharp sapphire eyes scanned in the direction of the noise only to find… Reaper boy was looking at her. He flashed a smile she was accustomed to seeing from the pureblood acquaintances her grandmother paired her with at her parties. He asked if she had a moment and to join him, which caused her brow to arch in speculation. After a few seconds of regarding him, she held up one pale, slender finger indicating that she required a moment. Within this demanded moment, she would open the flap of her bag, putting her camera safely inside the middle placeholder designated to keep it safe should she ever drop the bag. Once this task was completed, she flipped the flap back over and started walked towards the boy who lazily hailed her from his seat.
She continued to appraise him as she approached, wondering why the reaper called upon her. She remembered his demeanor in the owlery before she quietly disappeared. Doth the reaper come to swing thy blade? She doubted it by why not be a little dramatic even if it was only to herself. Made things more interesting that way. Once arrived, she would take a seat across from him smoothing her skirt underneath her as she sat down. An action typically done if you weren’t wearing pants underneath your dress, but old habits were hard to break. “What can I do for you….?” Her silvery voice trailed off as if she were expecting him to fill in the blank with a name.

Secret Blossom Ball
Janet’s (mint green theme) outfit:

and @Ariana WalkerOOC Note: permission from @Fred Woods To godmod
Janet Jackson spotted her best friend in the crowd. “Ari! I’ve been looking for you for ages!” She said.Mentioning: @May Moonstar
Ariana said something about looking for James and asked how it was going with Fred. Janet immediately went into a long account to the night so far and how exciting everything was, giving her opinion on everything from the pumpkin juice to the decorations. Ariana listened in amusement to Janet going rambling on and on about the blossom ball adding in a word when she had something to say. Janet spotted one of her friends May Moonstar in the distance and waved hoping she could see her through the dense crowd. Fred appeared behind her holding one glasses of butterbear (for him) and one of pumpkin juice (for her).
“Ooh thanks Fred!” She said accepting the cup happily and gulping down a delicious and refreshing mouthful. Butterbear was wonderful when it was winter or autumn or else a very cold night and it could really warm you up but Janet was in the mood for something more refreshing and cold.
Ariana caught Janet’s eye and winked.
“I’ll leave you two to it,” she said disappearing off into the crowd. Janet waved and turned to Fred and they finished their drinks before making their way to the dance floor.
