Girls Only

Rosy couldn't hear all the commotion going on around her. The only thing she could focus on was the fact that the coloured soaps weren't arranged in perfect tins. She had OCD so she couldn't help but organize them.

Once she was done, she snapped out of it and saw a new girl standing there. Rosy was pretty sure she knew the girls name- Spring, no; Summer, no; Winter? Yes, it was Winter! Winter Angelo!

"Hey Winter, I'm pretty sure that's your name," she added hastily. "I think I've seen you around the common room. My name is Rosy, Rosy Parker. Don't get me confused with Rosalyn here as she's also called Rosie" she added to the confused expression on Winter's face.

Then Rosy remembered something, "OH NO" she said aloud and everyone looked at her. "I was going, nevermind" she said as she recalled that she had just come from Herbology and now had a free period. seriously, she could be so forgetful and clumsy sometimes!

Then Rosy looked at the others who were staring at her. She then noticed Alex and remembered that they were having a conversation. "Hey Alex, why don't you come here and join us?" she said determined to not make anyone feel excluded while she was aware that almost everyone was staring at her.

Hey Hey Hey!

"Whoa, Rosy, you alright?" Rosie asked, a bit startled by the 'OH NO' that had just come out of her roomie's mouth. She knew her schedule, and knew that they had the same free period, so the girl should have been perfectly fine. Then, the 'nevermind' that followed meant that Rosy had remembered that fact, and all was okay again.

"Light purple? Of course I do, just one second..." she said, putting her bag down on one of the sinks and looking through it for the colour. She put the ones that she'd already used back, so that there wouldn't be a huge mess for her to clean up later.

"There we go! Is lavender alright?" she asked, pulling out the small bottle, just wanting to double-check that Rosie's definition of the colour light purple was the same as Winter's.

She took the girl's hand, setting it on a paper towel to avoid making a huge mess, and began to paint the nails, taking her time to ensure that nothing smudged or messed up the girl's hands.

"Rating Hogwarts? Hmmm, okay. I'd give it probably a 9 out of 10! I'm personally fine with the no phones thing, as my mum and dad never gave me one anyways." she said, thinking about it. They'd said maybe when she was twelve, over the summer. She supposed she'd just have to wait and see...

"The reason it's not a 10 out of 10 for me is because I miss getting to see my family. Mainly my dog and my garden, but my parents too I guess!" she said, laughing a bit. She was mostly joking, but a bit of her really wasn't. They were great parents, don't get her wrong, but they weren't around a whole lot. Murphy the Golden Retriever and her plants, though? They most definitely were.
