Riannon finished embellishing her last letter before putting it in an enveloppe and creating a little pile with the first one. Quickly glancing towards the newcomer Riannon answered her:Interacting with @Riley Swan
"Good luck with that history homework. I struggled quite a bit doing it. And by the way, I am Riannon from Hufflepuff. Nice to meet you Riley !"finished Riannon holding out her hand still mostly covered in glitter.
Riannon saw that her new companion had also used the golden glitter and that she had as much success with it as her. Riannon was quite pleased to see that, those glitters things were quite tricky to use.
"Right, muggles do have weird inventions, cool, but not very easy to use." she said showing her hands covered in glitter to Riley. "Oh you have siblings who are also at Hogwarts?"
While she was talking with the other girl, Riannon took another paper. She thought of a message she wanted to leave in the Hufflepuff Common Room.
For that letter Riannon tried to leave no glitter on it. She was proud of her house but she definitely was not brave enough to sign that letter with her name. And she thought that the anonymity of the letter would have a bigger impact. She just wanted to bring joy to her fellow Hufflepuff. To the Hufflepuff House
Thank you all. Thank you for being such good students and welcoming people.
Being part of this House is a huge honour. The values our house embodies are fairness, loyalty, kindness and modesty. Some people believe that it make us weak and stupid wizards and witches. But they are wrong, those values create good people who value each other and who work hard to express themselves through benevolent actions.
Once again thank you and may kindness rule us all !
Signed a thankful soul

WC| 211Ok, now it was another friend of Mays turn. It was, her dear friend, @Janet Jackson. The one she had met at the Leacky Cauldron, the day Hogwarts started.
May chuckled, and then turned red, at her own thoughts. Oh, how happy she would be to see her again.
The letter said this:
Ok, that was quite good.Dear Janet,
I miss you so much. Remember the butterbeer we had together? Ash, those old days.
I hope I can see you again. I'm glad you went to the house you wanted, Gryffindor. Tho I miss you, O can see you every day in the Great Hall, laughing with your friends. I wish I was there too tho.
I may seem a bit too sentimental. Right, now I'm laughing at myself. But, please note that this is what I really feel, and what I would've told you if you would be in front of me right now.
Cheers,
~May Moonstar [Teddy bear]
May was likely sentimental in is one. You would've said, why doesn't she just walk to her and tell her this and that?
Well, she just didn't think she could. As you may know, she is shy. Maybe she would. One day not too soon.

Love Note Leavers
Having heard the scuttlebutt throughout the castle of the mass letter writings that were happening within the library, he figured he'd put off writing his mum for too long and needed to give her some updates on the goings-on in at the moment in his life.Date: April 23rd
A sigh fell as he approached to see a series of giddy girls having just sent what he assumed were love letters off to their current flavor of the month. Moving over to where the letter station was displayed, he snatched himself up some parchment and continued on to a quiet area where he could privately address his thoughts to his mother via quill.
Quickly he'd stuff the letter in the envelop and raise up his backpack upon his shoulder once more. Thinking on it though, he let himself go over towards a more quiet area of the library and figured he'd get some more of his astronomy homework done. Zyk felt a little guilty in admitting that he was struggling in the subject to his mother.Ma'
Well, I guess I had to write back eventually and I'm sorry I haven't been more keen on getting these letter things to ya, not as simple as textin' is it? I'm not too much of a fan of writing them out, as you know. Not really much to say though, learning my spells, struggling in astronomy and taking a girl to a ball. I guess that's their fancy word for a dance... just hope we can shred the dance floor like we did back home Ma! Also, she's quite fit!
Anyways, it's been a good time here, meeting some new people and haven't really had many issues with anyone. The magic is a bit odd still at times, taking some getting used to being able to do this kind of stuff. Got my broom flying class later and I've got to say... I miss my skateboard. It's not too hard to fly and all, but, I like my board.
Anyways I hope you're doing good, at least you don't have to keep chasing me around the pale.
Love ya Ma!
Zyk

Lizzie sat down again in the Library and decided she was going to write a second letter this time to her brothers. She sat down and picked up some parchment and furrowed her eyebrows. How was she going to make sure that she could ask for what she wants without her mother and father knowing? They always read the mail just in case there was something bad.
She closed her eyes and pressed a finger to her temple. She really had to think about this letter hard so she wouldn’t get in trouble. “Why is it so hard just to write a letter?” She asked herself while picking up her quill then tapping it to her chin lightly. Shequickly smiled and stared to write.Lizzie smiled and nodded while underlining the words Dung and Ball. It should be obvious because Johnathon was quite smart with puzzles like that and Luke normally was the one to figure out it was a puzzle in the first place.Dear my sweetest brothers,
I love you. (Mum, Dad. I swear I mean it)
I am writing you for the good stuff. You know what we normally use every other day. Toothpaste obviously! I mean it. Please send it back with a letter meaning you get the memo. I need it for something I’m planning.
Mum and dad should not worry. I’m not putting it in someone’s hair. Well, more or less something like that. I am very sorry for not writing sooner. This is pretty hard to write as I know nothing about writing letters. More lyrics.
I watched a Quidditch match last week. It was so cool. That weird Quaffle ball was zooming everywhere or was that the Bludger. I’m not sure. I suck at Quidditch. This is defiantly not the dung to my Beetle.
See you soon, I think on the 20th of July
-Lizzie (Your loving sister)
Just in case she wrote in very small letters that neither her father nor mother could see:
Underlined words.
Lizzie grinned and sealed up the letter and then walked out of the Library once again.

The library, usually a the epicenter of calm for Blake, was now bar busier then he had ever seen it. The lad sighed heavily, all but resigned himself from even attempting the armload of Charms homework he had studiously set out to achieve. Just as he was turning to leave the Library, however, one section caught his eye.
from under a banner that read "#SendALetterDay!" the table was adorned with parchment, quills, ink bottles and even muggle glitter-glue and markers like the ones he'd used before Hogwarts. He glanced curiously around, all the activity seeming to stem from this side and he wandered over. Maybe sending a letter or two would clear his thoughts.
He grinned sheepishly to the professor as he set his own textbook and assortment of homework material on the edge of one of the private desks, deciding against taking up room on the very-crowded main table. He recognized a few students currently writing away but thought better then to bother them as he settled in with five sheets of parchment. If he couldn't find it in himself to send five letters, he would simply begin his Charms homework and come back to it at another time. He already knew who to start his tide of letters off with.

Laying his quill on the paper, Blake took a moment to admire his letter. For once he had't dragged his hand through the wet ink and smudged it beyond recognition or accidentally dipped the quill too lightly, running out of ink mid sentence like his homework would suggest periodically. He folded the letter carefully once he was sure it had dried and opened it to read, frowning slightly at the thick black strikes through some of the words. He had written some a few things as jokes but realized they no longer seemed funny in the context of the somewhat sentimental letter but had refused to start over. Besides, the thick scratches added pizzazz. Nodding happily, he set the folded letter aside and grinned his usual cheeky grin. He was very glad he had ventured into the library after all.Dear Lizzie,
I know you see me almost everyday but you're the first person who came to find when I sat down to write this because I know you're good at Charms even though you don't like it.
Thanks for picking up my book that one time in common room. Who knew one little thing like that could could lead to making a friend like you.
I'm sorry for the start I gave you at the Blossom Ball. I probably should have mentioned that I was going with someone but I knew you had someone to go with too so I didn't bring it up.
Maybe we could do our Charms homework together in the common room? I seriously need help if I'm going to pass
See you at dinner if I don't find you before because I'm still in here writing letters

Alexander had been going to the library to search for some reference material for Astronomy homework. Yet his right eyebrow raised with curiosity as he saw that a usually empty corner of the library was now quite occupied. He saw that there was a large sign that said. #SendALetterDay
When he did so he saw a small crowd of people gathered. All writing their own respective letters. As he did so Alexander brow now narrowed together into a frown. He supposed he had been putting it off for far too long. But it was a large hurdle to jump over. He supposed he had to do it sometime, why not now.
And so Alexander walked to one of the private desks. Grabbing a quill and ink as well as some parchment. He tried to make himself comfortable and he started to write.

Hello mom and dad.
I suppose that I have not been talking with you for a while but I have been very busy.
Magic is real and it is very cool. I have been learning many things. I have even learned how to violate the laws of physics. I am sure that dad is going to be thrilled with that.
I have also been learning lots of other things. Like how to make potions that make things that you wouldn't believe are possible. Capable of changing even the minds of people and making them forget things. It is all so amazing and it is unbelievable to do all of this like it is a fairy tale or adventure.
I was sorted into Slytherin. That was the house of the ambitious and cunning. Don't worry about me being discriminated against. I am taking care of myself and I am not being bothered. My classmates are mostly nice but I haven't gotten to know many of them.
I have also made a friend. Her name is Aida. She is really nice. I have not known her for long but she seems really nice. She is not English but rather Scottish. She is a little quirky but in a nice way. She has white hair and is really nature-oriented. She knows a lot about nature and other things.
Sometimes it is a little less nice though. I always feel a little tense, I don't know if I am a target simply by being born or if it is no matter at all. It is quite nerve-wracking
However, I know things are eventually going to be alright.
Your son,
Alexander
Ps. can you send an old dress suit and some rope back with the owl? I have a ball soon and some outdoor activities.

With one letter already written and folded neatly, Blake decided it would be best to move tables. Sitting this far away from the other students made him feel secretive and sneaky, a feeling he did not enjoy as he was a fairly open lad. Besides the main table, which bustled happily with students giggling and writing, there was another table just a few feet away with only one other student he didn't recognize. Only once he had walked half-way over did he realize that he would be seated with someone he didn't know and his steps faltered slightly. It was never too late to return to his quiet, solo desk right? No, he had already walked half-way over and must be a spectacle with his arms all full of books.
Finally making it to the table, he hovered at the far end before placing his books carefully beside him. The student seemed too invested in the letter they were writing, which seemed long, to even glance up at him. His nerves soothed, Blake flattened another bit of parchment over the desk surface and dipped his quill gingerly in his ink pot.

Blake's cheeks had taken on a rosie tint as he folded the completed and dried letter carefully away, recalling his mighty adventure thoughtfully. Writing letters was proving more eventful and enjoyable then he'd anticipated as he carefully laid the second letter astride the first and sat back to think.Dear Dee,
See? I do remember you telling me to call you Dee instead of Dealla. I decided to write to you because I had an idea for the head-line you'll need to use once you discover the secret room that caused that draft we went to investigate. I thought it up at lunch but didn't see you so I'll just tell you in this letter in case my Charms homework kills me and I never make it back to the common room to find you. Your headline should be "DARING EXPLORER AND FUNGUS MASTER UNCOVER NEVER BEFORE SEEN CHAMBER AT HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCH-CRAFT AND WIZARDRY!
I think it has a nice ring to it and would definitely grab a readers attention the same way that vanishing stair caught your leg.
I hate to cut it short but if I keep on writing I'm gonna end up laughing and the Library is very quiet so I think I'd better stop but I can't wait for the next adventure

Lizzie Verdine was obviously going mad. She going very slightly mad. Maybe she would be waking up to be thinking she was a banana tree or driving on three wheels. It had to have happened soon enough. She have avoided this moment for ages. Months. She wanted to avoid it for years. Yet she gave in.
The ravenclaw had finally decided to write to her parents. The first letter since she went to Hogwarts. She thought about it for hours on the end the night before. That or her roommate where keeping her up again by chating about some hot 3rd Years. Come on. Your only 11 for goodness sake.
Lizzie sat down at the table in the Library once again and looked down at the parchment and decided to write whatever came to her mind. It had done the job the other few times. Then it could do it this time. “Not going to mess this up.” She mumbled
Lizzie sighed and smiled. That was good enough. She folded it up and then sat back in the chair to relax. She would be writing another letter in a few minutes so there was NO point in running up the owlrey stairs just to have to go back up again. What a waste of energy.Dear Mum and Dad,
Hi.
I’m in Ravenclaw. Yay. I’m sorry about never writing. It’s been very busy over here. I have written a letter to Johnathon, Joseph and Luke so remember to give them the attached letter. Thank you.
I made a few friends. Cassie and Blake. I met Blake when he had fallen asleep in the chair. It was quite cute. No mum. I don’t like him. I am going to concentrate on other things first(like my musssssic). Cassie is pretty nice. They are helping me with stuff.
Stuff can be defined as many things. Homework. Other things. You will probably find out soon enough anyway from a teacher or something. I’m sorry in advance but it has to be done. It’s because this wierdo Gryffindor called me a stalker and now I’m angry at them.
Alright before I expose myself to much I better be going. I have to run and get to dinner before it’s all gone.
With lots of love,
Your daughter (Lizzie)

Thomas always did enjoy the library. Between the hustle and bustle of people studying away, it was constantly busy. It made for a pretty good place to be left alone, oddly enough, and surrounded by people concerned with their own business allowed for Tommy to go about his own business in peace. The young wizard pulled out some parchment, his quill, and some ink, and found a vaguely secluded corner to get to writing. He'd been missing home a lot, and a letter was long overdue! The boy had lost track of time, and he had needed to write one for quite a while now.
A peaceful expression broke out on the boy's face as he wrote the letter to his mother. It was in direct contrast with his typical scowl or impassive expression. Homesickness had been something that he'd been grappling with since his arrival, but Thomas found that it got better when he wrote letters home. The contents of the letter were very different from his usual, clinical means of communication, and he allowed himself to get uncharacteristically touchy-feely with his mother. As a result, the small smile that broke out on his face as he wrote was tinged with a sense of melancholy.

The young wizard sealed up the letter with care and sent it off as he needed to.Mum,
Hogwarts has been a wild, rollercoaster ride so far. I got sorted into Ravenclaw, which is meant to be the house with the smart people. While I'm not sure if I fit in yet, I think I look pretty sharp in blue. I've made a few friends, and I've met some people who are absolutely stupid. If Ravenclaw is meant to be the house where all the intelligent people are sorted, why is it that there are some people in there who are so annoying?! It's dumb. There's this one boy I do not like at all named Elias, he's so annoying and ridiculous and stupid and I can tell you more in detail during the summer. How's Uncle Donal doing now, I do hope he's okay. Tell him that Tally's fine, annoying as ever, really. I've not talked to her much because I've been so busy.
Homework is... Stressful. Can it even be called homework if I'm not at home when I'm doing it? It doesn't feel like home here, yet. Uncle Donal told me it would soon. Either he's a liar, or maybe I'm just not getting it yet. It's not bad here, I just can't wait to come home, if that makes any sense at all. I don't think it does, though.
I think my favorite class is Astronomy. It's so interesting to learn about the planets through the wizard lens. I always liked the stars when I was in school, so I guess that isn't a surprise to you. You'd know me best, after all.
Well, I should probably finish this letter so I can work on Transfiguration. It's really hard!
Love you,
Thomas B.

Cassie is lounging on the wooden chair and once or twice, they massage their sore upper arms from the game they partook on the ground. Tug o' War game is not a joke. It need strength and they being the anchor for their team, took a lot of Cassie's strength. Cassie winces and sigh when they massage their sore arms. Then a moment later, a folded parchment slide into their desk.
Cassie pick it up and look at their surrounding. Their eyes landed to a redhead wearing blue and silver. Cassie wreck their brain trying to remember her name. River Dewlight, if I am not mistaken. River sent a quick smile and Cassie nodded at her gesture. Cassie really bad at names. Cassie open up the letter and read it what on the letter.
They let out a small chuckle when they realize River and them seated just a few chairs apart. Once they finished read the letter, Cassie stand up and grab two more parchment. It is tiring when they need to go back and forth to grab the parchments. Since three letters down, Cassie decided to take two parchments to finished their tasks for this event. This time Cassie decided to write with black ink. Cassie clean their quill up from the last ink that they used and start to write the new letter for River.
Cassie look down on the new letter they just wrote. It feel a bit informal since they did not know River that well but it did not stop them to reach out to the other girl that seated just a few chairs away. Cassie fold the letter when the ink is already dry and put it into black envelop.
There is no need to stamp it with their initial name since the other girl will read their letter eventually. Cassie slide the letter with a bit force and it landed nicely on River's section of desk. Four letters down, one to go. With that realization, Cassie smile to themself.

To River, (I hope that's your name. I am really bad at names, to be honest)
I do remembered I met you once during that game Alan hosted and let me tell you that game was not a joke. I did not know that my arms could ached this bad. Do you have any suggestion what should I do for lessen the pain? If you do, please do tell me. By the way, congratulation for winning the first round and you are lucky to had Rafa on your team.
Thank you for the compliment and I guess I need to work on my fore arms strength if any of that type of game or similar to that will occur in the future.
And it was ashamed that we do not interact before, during and after the game that much but I am sure we will bump into each other again and you are super nice too albeit our short conversation.
Maybe we can get to know each other more and I can introduced you to my other two friends in here. The thought of having friends in this place make it more fun to attend in this school and make me feel less alone.
I hope you have been doing well too since then and continue to and let's set up for a meeting sometime![]()
Friendly Regards,
