Fred Woods||First Year||Gryffindor

History:

Fred was born in Scotland and moved to Ireland when he was 6 years old, most of his family lives in Ireland and he only goes to visit Scotland about once a year to see his grandparents there. He has a mother, a father, two younger twin sisters and an older brother. His younger sisters are called Lucy and Lily (both 7 years old) and his brother is called Tom (14 years old). Fred has lived nearly all his life by the sea so he is an excellent swimmer and a great photographer (takes a lot of pictures by the seaside) he has an amazing eye for detail.

His first sign of Magic was at the age of 6 when he was playing with his brothers on the rooftop of his house and he slipped off the edge. Instead of hurting himself he managed to land on his feet and was completely unharmed. His parents are both muggles and so is his older brother, they don’t yet know for certain if his younger sisters are going to have magic in them but it is expected that Fred is the only wizard in the family. Whenever he had signs of magic he and all his family simply didn’t know what to make of it, but that all changed when Fred received his letter to Hogwarts. Fred won’t ever forget the pounding in his chest and the surge of excitement rising through him when he read the first few lines of that letter. His head was swimming with questions and his family could barely miss the expression of shock on his face. Since the day of that letter Fred became an even more curious and open minded boy, but despite his open mindedness he is always learning new things about the Wizarding World that shock him. He hopes to learn even more new things and make many friends throughout his time at Hogwarts.
