An "interesting" night PV Alina Rosier Fin.

Alina gave a look to her roommate. She had intentionally ignored the question the first time and didn't figure she would get out of it a second time, especially when asked so direct. She looked down at her nails and smoothed her thumb over them. Sometimes playing with her hands or another object close-by is what she did when nervous and she didn't want to appear nervous.

"I don't know," she said softly. She did have Top Five list of cute boys, one for each year: First Year, Second Year, Third Year. She didn't go above that because then those boys were clearly too old for her and wouldn't give her the time of day. And then there was one boy she found completely adorable but what did boys know about anything?

"I've got a list of Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 Top Five According to Alaina," she said and opened up her bag. It was a list she kept in her bag. She handed it over to Kaylie and there were the names of fifteen boys, five on each page separated by year. Some names had been crossed out, changed, or even replaced as Alina had changed her opinion throughout the year.

"I don't know," Alina said softly. " I've got a list of Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 Top Five According to Alaina, " she said and opened up her bag. Alina handed it over to Kaylie and there were the names of fifteen boys, five on each page separated by year. Some names had been crossed out, changed, or even replaced. Kaylie looked at the list and read through it. Kaylie nodded her head once and handed the list back to Alina. " I have my eye on a couple boys, but that's no big deal you know? Kaylie then went to fix her ponytail in some of the shards of mirror that was left. She took the ribbon out and tied her hair up with a small hair tie and then covered it with the ribbon. Tying the ribbon in a bow she jumped on the counter leaning against the opposite wall of Alina. " It's funny how some of the first years have crushes on students who are like way older than them. Oh, I asked you if you had your wand earlier, because I have my wand. Kaylie said taking her wand out of her sweater and waving it around a little.

She had been working on keeping it with her at all times, on her person, as some would say. It seemed all the Professors did this, her grandmother did this, her father. Every well respected wizard and witch she had met had and now that she had gotten a wand finally she was going to keep it close. She leaned to the side just slightly and pulled the wand out. "Got it. I got lucky mine's so small." She had seen where some of the students' wands were over a foot longer than hers!

Alina smiled a little. "I suppose the wand knew I was so short myself." She wasn't like elf short but she was most likely the shortest girl at Hogwarts, or at least in the running. "Petite wands go for petite witches?" Maybe so. She couldn't imagine if she had one of those wands that was nearly half the size of her!

"I'm hoping we don't actually find any use for it out there. I find myself getting my best marks in Potions and Herbology...Charms isn't really my top. I'd hate to get into a predicament out there that we can't get ourselves out of and be defenseless. My sister Bella, in Slytherin, she'd find out about what happened and it would be the biggest I told you so ever. On my grave she'd make sure it said: Comme on fait son lit, on se couche." She spoke in her native French in that last part, mostly saying you made your bed, you lie in it.

Alina smiled a little. "I suppose the wand knew I was so short myself. "Petite wands go for petite witches?" Kaylie smiled and said " Yeah, some of their wands are like as long as my arm. It's just like how do you get a wand that long.
"I'm hoping we don't actually find any use for it out there. I find myself getting my best marks in Potions and Herbology...Charms isn't really my top. Kaylie's smile faded and on her face instead was the most confused look ever " Hold on hold on. What did you just say? Because I got one of that. I feel like the most confused person in the entire universe. Kaylie slid off the counter careful not to cut her self since she was wearing a skirt. Kaylie's foot slid on the glass as she got down and she ended up slipping and doing a pirouette into one of the toilet stalls falling on her rear end in the toilet.

"You're a ballerin...." but before she could even finish, the girl fell straight down and Alina closed her eyes quickly. When she opened them she looked down to Kaylie and then hopped off the counter herself to offer out her hand and help her roommate up. "Okay, well...." she was smiling and trying to hide a bit of a laugh, "you can still be a ballerina, Kaylie...just maybe not the most graceful of ballerinas. I mean, its really just the small enclosed space. I'm sure if we had enough space, it would have looked incredible."

She smiled again and shook her head. At least no one was around to see it. "And sorry, the last part was French. A time or two I spill into it. We moved when I was seven but then we had a French governess so the language often stayed even whilst switching to the Queen's English. It was that whole expression...you made your bed, you lie in it." Alina really didn't have a French accent either, as those usually left during childhood, but when she did speak words in French, she spoke them fluently and with all the right inflections.

"And don't worry, we're going to be FINE out there. We've survived this long, haven't we?"

I took classes when I was younger, so I know a lot. Kaylie smiled.

After Kaylie said this she did a minimized Grand jete and landed on the points of her toes and went into fifth position. " See, Ballerina. Kaylie laughed.

"Wow, impressive," she said to her. Alina had gone to the ballet quite a few times...to watch. The Royal Ballet had some of the finest dancers she had seen. Her father had dated quite a few of them and went to the shows in support, dragging his 'perfect little family' along. Still, no matter the reason for being there, Alina had always enjoyed the show, even if it was including year after year of The Nutcracker at Holiday. "I don't know any of that kind of dance. I can pass at a slow dance and know some of the old traditional dances. My father had some charity galas he had us attend sporadically growing up," she shrugged. She always liked the dancing but never the meaningless chatter of those events.

"Did you take lessons?" She was a little envious that the girl before her had both talents in art and dancing but it was really a good thing. Kaylie was a nice girl and deserved things like that to keep her busy. Alina was trying to find out more of her own hobbies while being at Hogwarts and having more time with herself. Dance probably wouldn't be one of them though, she was short and she just couldn't see herself doing some of those moves that dancers did.

"Wow, impressive," Alina said to her. Kaylie smiled" Thank you. Kaylie curtsied. "I don't know any of that kind of dance. I can pass at a slow dance and know some of the old traditional dances. My father had some charity galas he had us attend sporadically growing up," Alina shrugged.

"Did you take lessons?" Alina asked. Kaylie nodded her head" Yeah I did. If you want I could teach you the basics. It's really fun once you start learning. Kaylie went into first position by placing her feet heels together toes pointed out. Then went into second by spreading her feet apart keeping toes pointed out and spreading out her arms. After this she went to third position by placing placing her right foot a little far in front of her left foot, then she went to fourth by bringing her foot closer and then fifth by placing her right foot directly in front of her left keeping her toes pointed outward the entire time. Kaylie then stood on the points of her shoes placing one foot in the side of her knee and did yet another pirouette, but better and minimized spinning around the room stopping somewhat in front but to the side of Alina.

"Do you think you'll do it professionally some day? The dancers at The Royal Ballet are...amazing. Amazing isn't even the word. They're remarkable. I mean, some people give ballet a bad name but they haven't really experienced a ballet then. It's very powerful." Told a story, sometimes even one of change, one of rebellion. You could deliver a message through a piece like that and move someone, encourage someone, persuade someone.

"You seem very good, even in this small space." She would have said once they get onto the Grounds of the school or something she should show her more but they were going to have to wait. No need to distract too much attention to themselves. This was like a secret mission after all. Operation: Past Curfew.

"A girlfriend of my father tried to teach Bella and I once. Bella picked it up perfectly," ...as always, "while I was simply hopeless. Completely hopeless. It didn't help that the only reason she was doing it was trying to get closer with her father. Little did she know that going through his daughters wasn't the way to win his eye," and Alina rolled hers at the very thought of it all. It wasn't as if Charles Rosier cared much for what his daughters thought on anything.
