The sun was almost blinding with how bright it was on this day for quidditch. The heat radiated in the air, only cooled by a light breeze that tousled the announcer's hair as they observed the crowds flooding into the stadium. Once it seemed that everyone had packed into the stands, they began.Date: 3rd May 2026

"Gooood morning, everyone, and thank you for coming out to support the last games of the season!" they called out, their voice amplified and echoing across the field. "Today, first up, we have teams Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw battling it out for the ultimate win!
Leading team Hufflepuff, we have captains Mamori Anezaki and newcomer Harumi Everdane! With Anezaki, you also have Camilla Carter and Pamela Graham as your chasers, and Atlas Reid as your keeper! Avery McCall and Sage Willows are this team's beaters, and to round off the team, Daphne Sapphirus as your seeker! Of course, show some love for your second strings: Callum Alistar, Fire Davies, Landon Matthews, and Lyanna Oak!"
There was a slight pause for the applause, before the announcements continued. "And on the other side, we have our Ravenclaw captains, Aly Salinger and Aston Beckett! Salinger will be your seeker for Ravenclaw, and joining her as beaters is Jorah Moussa and Ebony Vetra! Playing alongside them are your chasers are Winnie Athanatos, Avis Greymond and Quinn Brook, and your keeper is Mikey Forville! Beckett will be supporting from the bench, alongside Ophelia Northwell, Andy Loggins and Damien Dragonclaw!"
As the applause roared on, the announcer coughed to quiet the crowd. "Before we begin, its worth showing a bit more love to Salinger, Moussa, and Reid, as this will be their last game with us before their graduation! Please give them a massive round of applause for everything they've done for their teams!"
The wave of support rolled over the announcer as they grinned with pride. "And with all of that done, let's get these games underway!"
