Deciding that she may as well continue her tradition of writing to the Heads of the other three houses, Hjørdis picked up another piece of parchment and positioned her fountain pen over it. She could have written with a quill but she had already had the muggle pen in her hand from before. Besides, it reminded her of her childhood. Her grandpa would write to her with the fountain pen he had. Always in black ink, always the same pen. He had that pen for most of his life from what she knew.
Pausing, how did she address him? She called him 'Professor' if students were around, otherwise just Equinox but that seemed a little odd for a letter that was not meant to be formal. Mister Equinox? She had no idea. But she was likely overthinking the whole thing. She had done the same to Caradoc's letter, which was how it ended up being thrown away. Not wanting to do the same here, she took a breathe and just wrote without second guessing herself.
She stopped writing, mid word and mid sentence, scratching out the last paragraph entirely. It was too sad. Every word of it was true but she did not need to say it. He already knew everything, repeating it would not help. Her paragraph would only make him feel bad. It was far better to try and proactively change things, than to talk about. Instead of hoping he felt more welcomed and wanted here, it would better for her to show him that. Hjørdis knew what she had to do. She had made up her mind and once she did that, there was little that would stop her.Dear A. Equinox,
This letter is long overdue. I ought to have written to you after the Halloween ball, after everything that happened with Mister Deathmote. However, with everything that has happened, the to do list got a little long and things slipped off. I can only apologise for it. Have you had any update with Mister Deathmote? I hope he is doing better?
I am sitting opposite a student as I write this, who wrote to me a few moments ago. About how they did not have many friends in first year, feeling alone. It is heart-breaking that prejudice still exists in our world. Things seem to have improved but we still have a lot of work to do, especially if the predictions are true. I wanted to reach out to you. After our encounter, I suspect you understand these feelings more than anyone and I am truly sorry you do. No one should have to go through that. Not the students, not you. I can only sincerely hope that you feel that you ar
She crumpled up the page and rewrote the letter, starting afresh. She did, however, copy the first bit of the letter again onto a neat piece of paper.
Hjørdis nodded to herself, confirmed that this was much better. Simple, short but better. She would just have to actively fight the racism with love. That was the best way. It was far better to do this than to upset him by dragging up the past, which was evidently not something he recalled fondly. She saw the way he was in the professor meeting not too long ago too. Quick to try and protect the dhampirs. If nothing else, she was glad that he was here. At least, they had someone to look up to that could guide them in these trying times.Dear A. Equinox,

If you have some free time this week, I would like to pop by. I think it would be good for us to both take a break. I am unsure of what time or date will work best for us both - but allow me to confer with the schedules. I shall pop by if I can find a time that might suit you. Please feel free to tell me to come back later, if you are busy, however.
Kind Regards,

The Head of Slytherin blinked as she spotted another member of her house coming towards her. Dmitri Jones. Carrying a letter, for her? That was rather... unexpected. From what she knew about the boy - which was very little - he did not seem like the type to write letters. Nonetheless, she accepted it and went to read it.

The letter that Cassie had wrote for Lizzie, sit nicely on top of the desk. Cassie already put into a nice black envelop. Cassie more literate in writing than in speaking. Maybe if this thing become a monthly thing I could get used to this, Cassie thought to themselves.
Students come and go but Cassie remain seated at their station. Their stationaries here and there in organized chaos mess. When Cassie look up, they saw a Hufflepuff student [Maria Dee] that they meet on the ground played that Tug o' War game thing. Their arms still a bit sore but Cassie let it be.
Cassie still in the zone for writing more letters. When Cassie entered the room they saw something like allowed to write five letters / students on a piece of paper. Cassie think who they should write to next. Their mind suddenly crossed their grandparents (their mom's side) so with new spirit, Cassie stood from their chair. Cassie took a new parchment and sat back down again to their seat. Cassie dipped their quill in dark purple ink and start to write new letter.

[font=Monotype Corsiva]La abuela y el abuelo queridos,
Me daría vergüenza si no.
Muchos besos,
Phoenix Cassandra[/font]
Once Cassie finished re read their letter. Like the previous ones, Cassie fold it nicely. Put into the black envelop, turn it over and stamp it with wax with their initial on it. Cassie smile to themselves and relax into the chair while thinking whose going to get their next letter.

As I writing this, I am sitting at the Library. Today the school have an event called #SendALetterDay. Which basically send to whomever it is. It can be parents, friends, professors or even someone that I fancy.
Relax grandma, I am still too young to involved into some kind of romance and I want to focus on my study just like what you told me to do. I already did sent my letter to Father and Mother, I hope they receive my letter just fine.
In here I have two friends that sorted into Ravenclaw. A boy and a girl. Yes, grandpa the same Ravenclaw house that mom once. I hope my friendship with them will last for a lifetime. I would be ashamed if not.
I also participate with some of the things that going on around campus. Either activities that some other student held or do some errands from the professors. I also just attended a ball, which was different from what I used to back home since all of the students attended that event are from my year or two years above me.
I also told Father, I got into some trouble in the train when on the journey to this school but it was just a misunderstanding. I will told both of you the details when I come home for the holiday.
I missed the time three of us spend together. I hope I can stay with you during Christmas break since Mother and Father will be busy doing their jobs and I do not feel like celebrate Christmas alone like I did every year.
Lots of kisses,

" Well actually, I was about to do a history homework, but... I found this corner way more interesting. I should probably return to it but I guess it can wait a little bit more. By the way, my name's Riley. What about you ? "
Then, I tryed to use the glitters too. I took golden ones and press on it but I had the same result as the other girl. I was quite embarassed to get that... However I was not the type of person to give up. I needed to write another letter in order to be better for the decoration.
" Seems like I'm not really good either for that... I'm sure my sister Lauren would have deal with that better than me, she is much more creative than me and has probably already used this kind of thing. "
Dear Alex,
This comes from you secret admirator. I can't reveal you my name orelse it would break the secret.
I have loved you for a thousand three years and I am not really sure you know who I am. To give you some clues, I am in Ravenclaw, one year older than you and I see you everytime you go to the Great Hall. I can't sleep anymore at night as I am always thinking about you.
Actually, you know what, I have an idea of a challenge we could face together. I can't tell you what it is right now because I want to surprise you. It is something you will like for sure !
Could you come to meet me tommorow afternoon at 4 p.m. at the higher point of the castle ? I am sure I could learn things to you.
I know this is a little bit strange but you will not be disappointed. I like you to much to mess things up with you.
Take care and don't forget, tomorrow afternoon at 4, the highest point of the castle.
I am looking forward to seeing you.
Your admirator.
It was so funny to prank Alex. I was not sure she will see this letter one day, but it was fun to write eat. I chose pinky glitters and once again, the letter was covered with it... Oopsie. Well, hopefully, she will never think it was a fake.

It had been a while since Ariana had even considered sending a letter of any sort to anyone. Although she had kept in touch with her parents, brothers and various other family members outside of Hogwarts at the start of term, there wasn't much else to write to them about. In any case, she was defiantly ignoring any contact that came through from her parents in any shape or form, family terms weren't exactly positive at the moment. If Ariana was being brutally honest, she despised writing altogether feeling that in most cases it was unnecessary to write absolutely everything down, pointless even. The gryffindor girl was on her way back from the quidditch training pitch, having gone there for a short while on her own to practice. Complete and utter boredom had now captivated her already inattentive mind and she began wandering the corridors, not particularly going anywhere, letting her mind wander. No doubt her friends were wondering where she was, but at this moment she couldn't care less, they would find her later. She held an old snitch loosely in her hand, ever so often letting it fly a few feet into the air before jumping up and catching it, so that it struggled furiously in her fist for a moment before dropping its wings limply to its sides.
As she passed the Library, she caught the sound of many voices issuing from the room and stopped abruptly in her tracks. It sounded like some sort of gathering was going on, the library was never this full by chance, and exams were hardly a thought at this time of the year, they were so far away. Turning round in mild curiosity, she doubled back and without another thought, walked right in. The first thought that came to her mind was that some sort of art and crafts event was going on, however at a closer look it seemed that everyone was writing letters of some sort, to whom? Ariana did not know. It seemed that in her dazed state she had forgotten to hide her expressions for a moment, outright confusion was spread wildly across her features. After a few seconds she became fully aware of her surroundings again, hastily composing herself before making her way over to the tables. That's when it hit her. It was write a letter day. Ariana had forgotten. [Oh great, she thought rather bitterly, just what she needed to be reminded of.] The last time she had gotten a letter it certainly hadn't been anything on the positive side. She sat down absentmindedly, taking note of the many people sitting in the room and her mind began to wander back to the message she had received up in the owlery, the one that had revealed to her the truth, the terrible truth. It seemed so long ago now, yet Ariana couldn't get it off her mind. Shaking her head of these aggravating thoughts, she pulled a sheet of parchment towards her and took a quill from the box. Yes, she was even willing to do some writing to rid her mind of these concerns. But did she really want to forget about this altogether? Or was it something she longed to remember, to grieve about? Her quill poised steadily above the parchment, she pondered for a minute collecting her thoughts carefully. What should she write? An angry letter to her parents? That temptation was so appealing that her left hand holding the quill twitched a quarter of an inch closer to the page, eager to spill the anger pulsing through the fiery gryffindors head, impatient to tell them what she really thought about this. Then again would it really do her any good? She thought not. Or perhaps a letter to one of her brothers? No. She was mad at them too. Mad, angry, upset that they had known, yet lied to her, for what? To protect her? Rubbish. It all felt very childish, as though ignoring her family was a silly game, her stubborn nature not daring to admit any responsibility for feeling this way. Determined to prove that she should have been able to know, it had been her fault for christ's sake! She speculated for a second, the anger that had been confusing her brain, slightly ebbing away. She could talk to her cousins, couldn't she? But they were all so far away at the moment Ariana hardly knew when she was to see them again. The letter would take days, if not, weeks to arrive… Then suddenly a thought came to her as though someone had set a glowing lightbulb above her head. Rafa! The name swam sharply to the front of her mind, cutting out her other thoughts, startling her as though she was stupid not to have thought about it all along. He was in this very castle at this very moment and well, Rafa, her cousin would understand, of all people. Yet it seemed kind of sappy to write a letter about her feelings and send it off to him. That definitely wasn't Ariana. She was more likely to go to him upfront than to compose her feelings onto a piece of parchment. Well, the idea didn't seem very tempting at the moment anyway. If only this mess had never happened, if only she could talk to Alejandra herself. Wait, that was it! She hesitated, biting her lip anxiously, she used to write letters to Ale all the time after she had gone ‘missing’ for comfort, [these habits had died as she had gotten older, as she had slowly lost hope of Ale's return…]
Her quill danced merrily on the surface of the parchment, disclosing hidden feelings and thoughts that the recipient would never get to read…
Well, wow she really sucked at writing heartfelt letters didnt she?Dear Ale,
I miss you so much, you can't even imagine. It's been really hard since you've been gone, maybe if i had known you were definitely not coming back I would have been able to cope better? I don't know... mama and papa lied to me about everything, about your death, about what really happened. In some ways it makes me feel even more guilty about everything. In other ways I just feel so angry at them. [Although i'm sure it's the guilt that's dominant in making me feel this way.] I don't even know how to feel about all this anymore why? I have so many questions and so few answers, I don't know what to do anymore. I'd also like to say that i'm really sorry for everything. It was totally all my fault, you didn't deserve any of this, if anything, it should have been me, me who slipped and fell. I can't imagine where you are right now or what you are doing, but I hope you are in a better place.
Love you lots,
Caramela

Mentions/interacts with @Cassandra IronwoodsRiver carefully folded and put away the previous letter written for Solveig. She had now written letters to the two specific people she wanted to reach out to. Now her next step was unknown. There was probably some people here on Hogwarts that she could send a letter to. But who?
Throughout her time here she had gotten to know a lot of different individuals. Some she had gotten along with better than others of course, but she couldn’t really think of anyone to write a letter to without it being weird. Letters weren’t weird, that wasn’t the problem, but it just felt strange writing a letter to someone you could simply walk up and talk to. Not that talking was easier than writing. River certainly did not think so. She’d much rather write to someone than talk to them in person, she wasn’t really the best at that. If you compared her social skills now with her social skills before Hogwarts, you would see large improvements, but it still didn’t change the fact she preferred writing.
Maybe she should just do something simple. Thinking about how long the two first letters would take to send, perhaps she would try something with a little shorter distance. Like perhaps writing to someone within this library.
The young ravenclaw scanned the people in the library. Hopefully she’d find someone she had some connection too in any way. Most of the people in there she’d seen before, but only passing in the halls, or seeing them talking with their friends in the great hall or something. One face stood out from the rest a little. Not necessarily because River knew them all that well, but because they had spoken during the game of tug of war some time earlier.
River grabbed hold of her quill, rolled out a new sheet of parchment and began writing letter number three. After being satisfied with the letter she'd just written to the student sitting by the same table, she folded it and slid it across to where Cassandra was seated. It wasn't too far, and the letter just reached them without bumping into any of what they were doing. River sent Cassandra a quick smile to signal that the letter was from her, in case they didn't see who had pushed it along.Dear Cassandra
It might be a little strange that I am writing this letter to you since we could literally just speak with each other from where we sit. But we are here to write letters, aren’t we? So I only found it fitting that I sent you this letter. I suddenly came to think about the fact that we met one time during the game hosted by Alan here previously, if you remember. I just wanted to say that you did really good during the game, especially since you dind't even know what it was to begin with. I’m sure we’ll speak again some time, and I’ll be looking forward to it. You seem super nice, and I’m sad we didn’t get to continue a further conversation before the game had to begin.
I hope you have been doing well since then and continue to. (Also I hope it’s not too strange that I decided to send this to you from across the table)
Hope to talk to you some time in the future

Errand progress: 2/5She looked at the letter she had just written to Ross, was it too much? They weren't exactly the best of friends or something like that. She wasn't even sure what they were, friends? aquaintances? they have met too many times to be acquaintances right? Although she had to consider the fact that they have gone through too much together for him to be counted as an acquaintance. Did you have to be best friends with someone to send them letters? Without her even knowing she had picked up the glitter pen and started clicking the top of it, At the same time, they don't talk that often Click but that was what friends are right? Click Click Click She wished Teiki or Willow were here, they put up with her questions all the time.
In her annoyance, she threw the pen down and watched as it rolled to halfway at the table, embarrassed she stood up and reached for the pen finally sitting down firmly holding the pen. She decided to watch the pen instead of clicking at it, she shook it a few times watching the glitter float around in whatever gel-like substance they were trapped in, she almost felt bad for the sparkly paper inside. While shaking the pen, she had a brilliant idea- she would let the pen decided if she were to send the letter. She grabbed a spare piece of paper and drew a circle on it, with the right side saying "Send" and the left side saying "Don't send" she placed the pen in the middle of the paper and spun it- watching in anticipation as it landed on... Send.
With that done and over with, Mildred decided to just send the letter- Ross probably wouldn't read it anyways. The small girl everchanging attention span decided to finally switch back to focus on the actual task at hand, the letters. just who was she going to send her next letter too? Once again, she wished Willow or someone she knew were here... it was just then the bright idea of sending Willow a letter came in mind although she sees Willow basically every day, and she realized the next best thing was Gerald! her stuffed animal, if she was going to send Gerald a letter she should send Freddie one too- they counted right?
With her mind set, she went and retrieved another piece of paper and was ready to write.
Smiling at the letter, she took the sparkly pen and signed off the letter like her parents did although it was for a fact that she would never remember how to sign it like that again. She hoped Gerald would like it.DEAR GERALD,
DO NOT LET WILLOW SEE THIS!
Hello Gerald!! I know that I basically sleep next to you, or well currently I’m sleeping with you but I thought I’d send you a letter! ! I don’t know if you remember Freddie the dog, total cutie you know? Chicken isn’t for love and stuff but I think you two would be cute you know? Anyway, What if we were able to invent this cool spell that could clean stuffed animals? I don’t know if Freddie is in the plan but I thought maybe you would be!!
I hope you’re staying well, and don’t miss home too much.- I’m sure we will visit your home soon!! Tell Willow I said Hi also! See you tonight! By the way, does willow know what the human eating bean chairs in the library are??

Hjørdis was honestly just confused. She read the letter with her usual blank expression. A part of her was actually getting more and more offended but, at the same time, it did not seem like that was the intent behind the words. The letter that Dmitri had handed her was essentially a series of tasteful insults.
She was interesting. Tolerable. More so than most... Words that she fully agreed with. Most of the professors irritated her, they were barely tolerable. Of course, they likely felt the same way about her but did she care about their opinions? No.
But then, moments after she wrote a letter to Miss Shymane about how she was teased in school for her hair, the boy points out that her hair was a sign of being 'ancient'. Though, it was a compliment. It did not feel like a compliment but it was meant to be. She was younger than quite a few of the professors, that was for sure. Perhaps nearly all of them - she did not really bother to find out their ages for the most part. Likely the youngest to be Head of House, at least right now, and one of the few who had been here for a while. Ambition was an admirable Slytherin quality, after all. And yet, Dmitri had totally implied she seemed "ancient".
If that was not bad enough, he went on to speak about how things would only get worse from here. Comparing Hjørdis to a Seer, when everyone knew that Seers were... very strange, indeed - especially by the time they got to Kibitzer's age. She was nothing like Kibitzer. Except for the fact that they both thoroughly enjoyed tea and were terrified that all of the students were going to die. But other than that, they were entirely different and she was almost offended that Dmitri would compare the two.
However, Hjørdis was "one of the few professors" that he would not want to see perish... So he wanted her to be his head of house for his full tenure at the school. Dmitri Kazimir Jones... He was certainly a strange boy, if nothing else. Nonetheless, she took a fresh piece of parchment and began her response. It could easily be 'You are hereby expelled from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.' following his letter, or a more casual, 'So, pack up, go home, you're through." to quote the muggle Disney movie, Mulan.
It felt more like someone had hurt the boy. He seemed more afraid to show vulnerability, openness, kindness or love and affection than she did. And that was saying a lot coming from her.
Hjørdis signed off the letter, which was perhaps one of the oddest things that she wrote. If she thought the letter to Caradoc was slightly weird, this easily topped it. Then again, she had no idea how else she would respond to Dmitri. It shared her thoughts and some important hints, but without being overly emotional. It would do.Dear Mister Jones,
Thank you for your kind words. I will endeavor to do my best and not perish until you have graduated. Unfortunately, I lack seer abilities like Professor Kibitzer does and am unsure on when that day will be. Though, it would certainly be best to keep the letter confidential if you intend on actually graduating at any point.
I think you will find that I am certainly far from ancient, and in fact I am closer to your own age than to Professor Kibitzer's. However, my hair has been this colour since before you were born, thank you for noticing. I would have been unaware of the correlation if you had not pointed it out.
In return for me keeping your letter confidential, I would like to ask something of you too. Nothing will make me prouder of you than seeing you graduate. Please avoid perishing or being expelled until you have graduated. After that, you are free to live your life however you wish.
Kind regards,

As she folded the letter in half she had a sudden momentary urge to rip it up and throw it on the ground. Useless, pointless. Why had she even bothered, she was never going to see her again anyway, let alone communicate by owl, yet here she was, expressing her feelings to a piece of parchment. It all felt kind of silly now, childish even. Writing letters to the dead, what was she thinking? Ariana had hardly noticed what she was doing, her head was laid firmly on the desk, her usually cheerful features screwed up in apparent distress. She sat up straight, running her hand over her face, before resting her chin in the palm of her hand staring into the fire, oblivious to everything around her. Her mind began to wander again to places back in Argentina with her cousins, back to her young childhood years, they seemed so long ago now, of course she was still a child in theory, yet in her mind she was so much older. Roughly shaped, it would take a while to smooth these hard edges out. It was only now that it hit her how little she knew, about everything. How unaware she had been about the world. How blind. She reached for the folded letter in her pocket, taking it out to examine its contents again, rereading it. Well she supposed she would write one to Rafa anyway. It felt more real, at least it was something that felt like it had a purpose. This time she constructed her words in a more composed manner, so that by the time she finished, it seemed more like she was imorming him or asking him for advice more than moaning to him about her problems. One thing about Ariana is that she wasn't at all that good at expressing her emotions, they either came out in bursts of anger, or stayed bubbling inside her in the pit of her stomach, like acid, otherwise most other times she was kept up by her optimistic spirit. Other girls seemed to be able to express things more freely, Ariana was certainly startled at the number of girls she had seen crying at Hogwarts, she herself rarely cried. It all seemed very silly to her to cry over a boy or a small argument, she was used to brushing small things off as if they were nothing. A few jokes about it and it was over. Well she couldn't blame herself for this behavior, after all she had never been taught to talk herself out of things calmly or anything, as the only girl of the family, she had gotten used to strong emotions being cleared up by physical resolve, something which Ariana was admittedly quite good at, considering her size. Lifting up the parchment so that it was level with her hazy, unfocused gaze, she read through it a few times, analysing its meaning, her eyes scanning the page wearily.
She really couldnt help turning everything into a stupid joke could she? So much for ‘seriousness’To pajadito Rafa, [No nicknames and messing around for now, yes she was trying to make this somewhat a serious letter] I was wondering [No too formal, okay what about] How have you been? [Yes okay so she'd start with that] Okay so I need help [Woah stop, that sounded way too urgent and over the top, how ‘bout] Raf, I know you have a lot going on at the moment, but I just wanted to ask, did you know all along about what happened to Ale? Is it okay for me to feel angry at the fact that I was completely secluded from the truth? Or am I being plain selfish? I didn't know who to ask at first but then you came to my mind, you are pretty awesome when it comes to dealing with stuff like this, I thought that of all people, you would understand. I'm not trying to be sappy, [She drew a smiley face with its tongue sticking out in a way to say ‘ugh’] but I thought I should vent out my feelings in some way other than hitting someone annoying, [she smiled slightly at this] Anyways sorry to bother you, have a nice day, hope you beat up few annoying sneks [they deserve it]

@Willow Anderson╚═══════════════✣══✶══✣══════════════╝Wren was happy with her letter to her mom and dad, but she wanted to write more. There were some people she had seen around and had wanted to at least say. Specifically, one Willow Anderson. She had heard about her friendship bracelets and in fact, had been offered one at some point. She had not brought it up nor mentioned it to her because Wren had almost been intruding, even though she had been there before many of the other people, that particular day, she had faded into the shadows, instead of stepping into the spotlight and demanded to be noticed. Willow was a kind person, and so, even though they had only met once she decided to write her a letter.
Dear Willow,I don’t know if you remember me, but I sure remember you. You were one of the girls at our midnight trope. The night we danced in the ballroom. Not you and me specifically, but Keagan was there, Saga and Ariana as well. You offered all of us friendship bracelets. You struck me as a kind person, so I wanted to return the kindness. Enclosed in this letter is an invitation. An invitation, to dance at dawn. If you want you can meet me in the ballroom, at midnight on Friday, May 1st. Feel free to bring a friend, and if you want I could bring a friend as well. Let me know how you feel about this
My kindest regards,
Wren Caster
Wren looked over the letter one more time, and satisfied with how the letter had turned out folded it up and set it next to her hoping Willow would show up so she could give it to her.

Gosh, #SendALetterDay was so popular? May thought that now was the time to write to her friend, Blake.
She had met him in the library, a great place to meet, was it?
And, they had becomes great friends instantly after that. She could've seen some charm in him too, tho his accent made him a little less professional.
As May laughed at her own thoughts, she picked up her quill, dipped it in ink, and begun writing the letter.
It said:
Dear Blake,
I'm sure you remember me, it wasn't a very long time since we've met, but I remembered you today (I don't know why, don't ask me why!)
As you may know (or not)
Today is #SendALetter day, and I'm sending five letters to to the ones I love care about.
Soooo, I just wondered, would you like to go to Transfiguartion together tomorrow?
You could help me because because I suck a Transfiguration because your great at that subject. This isn't exactly a very friendly like letter, because I didn't know what to write because I'm writing super fast, but, miss you!

Umm, that was ok...? Maybe too short, but she kinda just met him, so it didn't matter.
