They were supposed to be stealthy, weren’t they? Well, they were the exact opposite. Carrying huge boxes of food wasn’t easy at all. Especially down three flights of stairs. As they set the boxes down, they rested their arms for a bit.
Damn, holding a secret party after curfew wasn’t as easy as it seemed. There was so much to be planned, with so little time. They had met in the courtyard, one day when Briar was resting and trying to think of new pranks to pull off. This was way better, Axel would be proud of his little sister. She was certainly going to make an impact. As for Rose….well Rose was Rose. Her twin sister wouldn’t even dream of getting in trouble. Too bad, she was going to change that. She would at least have gotten detention at least once in her first year. Lav had come to her, thinking of exactly the same idea, same for Nick, they both were done being the perfect people that everyone assumed them to be. As for Ryder? Briar would just have fun pissing him off and being nice to him was just an occasional thing. She had made sure of that, even though she didn’t mean a single word.
As she walked with Lav, Ryder, and Nick, she couldn’t help thinking about how much her parents would have scolded her….she missed that. A lot.
They had sneaked out food from the great hall, a considerable amount. It was a party after all.
There were some starters, two main courses…..and oh, dessert! The one sweet thing in her life.
They set up a few fold up tables on the ground, as well as a few mats. The moonlight made everything seem serene. It was honestly really pretty.
She had invited a lot of guests, but anyone was allowed to join! She set up a small impromptu karaoke station. This was fun. They also set up some juice and water.
