The Hogwarts Field Day, the best day of the year! No classes for the day, and a full day filled with fun activities all the way from Quidditch and broom racing, to dueling! Before going to one of the activities, Andy set up his picnic materials. One blue and white blanket, about 55 inches long, the food-five bottles of pumpkin juice, three bags of peppermint toads, marshmallows(for roasting) and of course some wooden skewers and a couple a big jug of ice cold water. Hopefully nobody steals all of these goodies... because I am pretty hungry! Then, the boy layed another blanket on top of the food. After looking around the Hogwarts grounds, Andy spotted a young girl, girl who looked twelve years old sitting on the grass. Being the talkative extrovert Andy is, he stood up and went over to the girl to give her some company. Hello! I'm sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to say, I love your outfit! I think it suites you! I am Andy by the way, a third year here at Hogwarts. What is your name? Andy said as he sat down next to the girl and offered her his hand shake. Lot's of people at Hogwarts, especially First years are not very talkative, so this is really a 50/50 situation on weather he will actually get a response, but who knows? The scene is beautiful. The Quidditch stadium grass is so well maintaned. It has been a long since Andy stepped foot on the actual Quidditch pitch, not the training one. Finally, in a couple days the game Against Hufflepuff will start. Andy was ready. Andy's stomach growled. I am ver hungry...Andy said to the girl. If you want to talk more, how about you join me at my picnic blanket over there! I have a bunch of snacks that I am willing to share! Of course, if you want too! Man, Andy made the same mistake again! The boy always overflows the person he is trying to meet with questions, and now the girl will probably think he is some sort of freak! Or worse, walk away without saying a word! All we can hope for is the best...

The sound of loud and fast footsteps echoed through the corridor as everyone's heads turned in the direction of the disturbance. You see, before Rosy came running down, the corridor was extremely quiet.
Rosy can't walk without making sounds. She almost slipped on the turn between the tower base corridors. Why was she running? To reach the Quidditch Pitch. Why did she need to get to the Quidditch pitch in such a hurry? To get there in time for Hogwarts Field Day!
Rosy shot a quick glance at the pamphlet in her right hand. It basically said everything about the event. She had read it three times already that day, but she just needed to confirm that this wasn't a dream one last time.
She stopped, skidding slightly and creating a 'breaks squealing' type of sound (she had been running really fast and made a very abrupt stop). She pinched herself in a 'snap-out-of-it' sort of way and began gazing dumbly at the blank wall in front of her.
Then the realization hit; she groaned and rubbed her eyes with her hands. She had come the wrong way! She now needed to run the double distance she had just now. Rosy was a first-year, so she was still getting used to all the ways and corridors at Hogwarts.
Rosy turned her back to the wall and decided to take a break before she began running again. She took off her heavy backpack which was causing most of her fatigue while running.
She rummaged in her backpack for her bottle of water and found it, its bottom part covered in ink. Rosy groaned; her ink pot must have leaked. She found her favourite handkerchief in her pocket and used it to wipe her bottle.
She pulled her wand and pointed it at the handkerchief saying, "Scourgify"and getting cleaned before tossing it into her bag. Rosy drank a few sips of water and then reread the pamphlet.

The matter of extracurricular activities is an unavoidable part of academia. And, as any student — Hogwarts, Ilvermorny, or any of the other international schools scattered around the globe — could tell you, there were few activities more exciting than sports.
So, lets give those sports some credit. The sports that changed our life forever, the ones Hogwarts is known for.
Join us in the Quidditch Pitch for an exclusive event- only for Hogwarts' students. There shall be Quidditch, Broom racing, Dueling and everyone's favourite- snacks.

Rosy decided that the break had lasted quite long enough. She stood up, picking up her now seemingly heavier backpack while mentally preparing herself and began to run. She ran and ran until she reached the Quidditch Stadium, where she just stood perplexed.
The different house teams were playing friendly Quidditch team while the audience sitting in the bleachers were cheering for their houses or friends. Apparently, you didn't need to be on your house's Quidditch team to play here.
Rosy looked around and saw students having friendly duels, making each other's legs dance with the "Tarantellagra" Charm or making each other grow antlers with the "Anteoculatia" charm. Teachers stood there for supervision and counter-curses.
There were Broom Races as well and Rosy decided to participate in one. She looked around for the snack bar and kept her backpack there. Students were having juicy food and juicy gossip sessions at the same time.
Rosy stretched a little bit before she went off to the Broom Racing Tracks, afraid but knowing that nobody would judge her. Considering the fact that she had only attended one Flying lesson yet, Broom racing seemed like a large jump.
But that's the thing about Hogwarts- nobody stops you from trying something out, Rosy thought as she made her way over to THE BROOM RACING ACTIVITY.

Zephyr didn’t need much convincing for this sports event. On most days, if Rosalyn would ask him to go out and join something random, he would think twice or say no. He doesn’t like wasting his time when he could use it somewhere more productive. This was different, the moment he heard it was a sports field day at the Quidditch Stadium, he was already planning to go. When Rosalyn asked, he agreed without complaints.
Back in Swansea, whenever he and his friends had time, they would play football in their school ground every day. They don’t need proper teams or uniforms, whoever will show up was enough. Someone would bring a ball, and that was enough. Games would go on until dark or someone’s parents called them back. They were also members of their school’s football’s official team. Running, getting shoved, falling, getting back up repeatedly, you won’t hear anyone complaining, they just kept going. Swimming was the same, they would mess around in their school’s swimming pool or during weekends, they’ll all go to the nearest lake or falls. They would compete on who’s faster, lasts longer and who would quit first. They need no rules, you just learn by doing it. That’s what he liked about it.
He brought his broom with him too-his Silver Arrow-which he’s holding as they walked toward the stadium together. As they got closer, the noise became louder, it was mixed of voices, laughter, and cheers. Once inside, he noticed there were stations set up across the field. According to the pamphlet he received, there’s station for Quidditch, Broom Racing, and Dueling. From where he was, he could see a lot of students were already trying things out and moving between stations. He glanced at Rosalyn, “Are you planning on trying any of the offered sports or you’re just going to watch?” He pointed at the station he assumed was for quidditch. “I’m starting there, what about you?” Even though he was already part of broom racing, there were still things he doesn’t fully understand, just watching them play was not enough, he should try it too, that’s how he learns faster. “Let’s go?” For him it’s not just an event, it reminded him of the same thing he grew up doing.

Skylar walks into the Quidditch stadium, her eyes tracking all the various activity going on around her. The air around her was buzzing with excitement and noise, and all she could see were pops of colors and banners. Skylar herself was bouncing on her toes, filled with anticipation for the day. In her hand was her broom, which she had brought out for one specific purpose — flying.
Enjoying the sun on her face and the light breeze, Skylar walks through the different tents and read the pamphlets handed to her. Ever since she was younger, Skylar had always dreamed of flying. Now in Hogwarts, Skylar would spend her free time practicing on her broom and flying through school grounds. So naturally, the two events that caught her attention the most was Quidditch and broom racing. However, if she had to choose, she would most likely go with Quidditch. She really wishes to become a Chaser on the team, if they would have her. Though she did read up on some Quidditch strategies, Skylar is still quite inexperienced with the sport.
So after grabbing a quick snack and putting away her pamphlets, Skylar makes up her mind and makes her way to the Quidditch stand. With her hair tied in a ponytail and her broom in her hand, Skylar was more ready than ever.

Ah, Hogwarts Field Day.
A whole day dedicated to the three official games that Hogwarts had to offer — or more likely, another day for Tatiana to slack off her homework. She had been, well, let's just say not that fueled anymore as she was during the earlier months of her first year, though her grades hadn't quite plummeted from Outstanding's and Exceeds Expectations's to Dreadful's and Poor's yet, but she had certainly been more ...distracted than usual.
She herself doesn't even know why! Perhaps the pressure had finally gotten to her, but a girl like Tatiana wouldn't let something stupid such as pressure get in the way of her academic standing. Which is also probably what convinced her to come to this whole field day thing in the first place, some sports and 'friendly' competition ought to jog her brain a bit.
As she walked through the Quidditch Stadium in her sleeveless mettalic shirt and black miniskirt, it got to her how much time had really passed, and of how long she had already treated Hogwarts as her home. It seems as though it was just yesterday that her hopes got crushed as the Sorting Hat yelled out “Hufflepuff!”, even though she was clearly meant to be a Slytherin like the rest of her family was, or so she was told.
“God, what's happened to me?”, she asked herself as she crossed the Broom-racing area, where a small cluster of students had already gathered up, waiting in turn as it seemed to be a single-player, first come first serve system. “When the hell had I become so nostalgic and shit? I've only been here a few months!”, she whispered to herself with disbelief. “Oh, Hogwarts, you really are a wonder...”, she trailed off, gazing at the castle from where she stood.

Rosie was so, so excited for this event. She loved being outside, loved getting to see people, and loved being around Windy! With all three combined, well, she couldn't resist going to the Hogwarts Field Day. She had invited Windy, since they didn't see each other too often on normal days and there was no better opportunity to be with her friend.
"I'm not quite sure! I may just try some stuff out, and watch if I get tired!" she said, answering Windy's question. She was planning on doing some things she hadn't yet tried, like maybe Quidditch, or perhaps Racing.
"You do Broom Racing, right? Then this all should be right up your alley!" she said, closing her eyes for a moment to just listen to everything. There were a bunch of people already there, and she loved just feeling the sun on her face and hearing the buzz of conversations around her.
"I'll start there too! Sounds great to me!" she said, following him over to the Quidditch area. She'd guessed that he would start with Racing, but she was truly along for the ride, ready for anything and everything that the event had to offer.
Ever since she was young, she enjoyed sports. Well, for the most part, since she'd always somehow managed to get injured. But, regardless, she loved getting outside and doing something physical and athletic.
She hadn't brought any brooms with her, since she didn't exactly own any. She'd have to save up to get one, but that wasn't anything she was planning on doing at the moment.
They kept walking, eventually reaching the right place. She was very happy, warm and comfortable around a person she enjoyed the company of and the sort of thing that she'd enjoyed for most of her life.

Try telling Laasya Manjunath a month ago that she would make the Quidditch team and she would start laughing in your face. And not just small giggling but legit laughing as if it were the funniest thing in the world. That's what she believed. Although she got interested in flying and Quidditch, even taking part in an unofficial one, she wasn’t sure she would be able to join the official one. But as fate had it, she had managed to make the team! She had spent the rest of the day after she was picked going frantic and reading every Quidditch-related book she could find, which didn’t help her much. She would be on the benches most of the time, thankfully, but what if she were called? She would be playing as second-string keeper tomorrow, and she had experience only as a beater.
So, on the second, when she heard of a field day event, she knew she had to go, or else she would be making a huge fool of herself during the match. She wore a white sweatshirt with black pants; it was comfortable and perfect for sporty events. She then tied her hair in a ponytail, as she would prefer it if her hair stayed out of her eyes while flying a broom. She then took her shooting star and left. Although she had borrowed a moontrimmer for the match, she wasn’t too keen on using it today in case she accidentally broke it. It was very expensive after all. And she was more used to her shooting star, which, although it was old, worked just fine, better than the school brooms.
She made it to the place where the event was taking place. It was a warm and sunny day. There were various tents, refreshments, and pamphlets everywhere. There were 3 sports to choose from: broom racing, dueling, and the one thing she had come here for: Quidditch. She’d try the other two sports later; for now she had to practice. And besides, the line for broom racing was very long, probably because it was a one-person-only activity. She then made her way over to the Quidditch activity. Hopefully she did not lose her head either today or tomorrow.

Paul was literally leaping all the way from the castle to the stadium. The young athlete was looking forward to Hogwarts Field Day ever since the poster appeared at various places in the castle. When he woke up, he brushed his teeth, went to the toilet, got dressed into his black, loose, black, knee-long denim shorts, a black T-shirt with a surely very successful and famous Muggle rapper's name written in white letters on it, and a black sweatshirt, and then rushed to get his breakfast in the Great Hall.
He couldn't wait to try all the Hogwarts sports! Duelling especially. Paul would certainly start with what he was interested in the most. But besides that, Broomracing sounded quite cool too. He bet he would meet Skylar and Ellaine, his friends, there once he chose to get his hyperactive butt up in the sky and race a little, on one of the well known, school broomsticks. With Quidditch, he wasn't sure. If he had enough time, he was determined to try it out too, but he would certainly not push it. He needed some time to have lunch or some snack, of course.
He would go to the Great Hall at some point, and then, come back and try all that he hadn't done. The boy was so excited that he gobbled down the cornflakes, drank the chocolate milk that was left in the bowl, then ran outside. At some point, he started leaping forward, his excitement about this forced him to.
Anyway, when he came into the General tent, he breathed out in awe again, like almost every time when admiring the delightful masterpieces of magic. "Whoa... so high!" Commented the boy when he saw the height and the size of the tent. He then looked around it to see if there was anyone here that he knew.
There was a boy with a blanket and a snack, talking to a girl and some people passed around him, so he followed them, only to walk over to the Duelling tent.

Andy got to his blanket and snacks again, this time with a friend. Ophelia, her name is. Then, Andy answered her question he asked earlier. And Yes, I do play one of these sports, Quidditch. I am one of the Keepers for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team actually, but I am not good enough yet to be a starter. Anyway, here are all of the drinks and snacks. Take whatever you want! Andy's snacks and included Marshmallows, wooden skewers for them, bunch of bottles of pumpkin juice, a jug of iced water, peppermint toads, and other small, sweet treats. Andy piled some chocolate peppermint toads, Marshmallows, and a skewer. If you are interested in the Marshmallows, we can go to the bonfire and roast them together! They are better toasted. I always ate these, as a Muggle. By the way, are you a Muggle too? Andy opened his bottle of pumpkin juice. It was cold and refreshing. It is surprising on how good something is when you drink it for three years in a row. When Andy just started his First year at Hogwarts, he despised pumpkin juice, because he thought it was to watery. But now, it feels more flavorful and just more... delicious! Thank god Andy was not a Seventh or Fifth year yet, because then, he would have to be taking the OWLS and NEWTS instead of enjoying his time outside. Man, Andy even has his summer planned out! Just like last year, he will head to the leaky cauldron and rent a room there for 4 days, and explore Muggle London a bit before meeting his parents at an airport. And don't worry, Andy's rich parents rented him a personal butler to meet him at the train station and stay with him all the way to the airport! Yes, Andy is a very wealthy kid, because both of his parents are entrepreneurs who own a bunch of grain farms in southern Latvia, and also have a pretty big condo there too! Well enough about that. We steered a bit off of track this time...
