Pepper-up Buttercup
COVID-19 has spread throughout the muggle world as we all well know and threatens the lives of thousands of muggles as this global pandemic has covered the globe in unprecedented speed. COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus quickly spreads from person to person with no presently known muggle treatment. However, among wizards there is a treatment -- The Grand Pepperup Potion taught year three in Potions here at Hogwarts. While the potion is readily accessible in the magical world, the same cannot be said of muggles unfortunately. We feel that as fellow humans we need to lend muggle-kind aid and therefore plan to produce an incredible amount of the Grand Pepperup Potion and administer it to the muggle public under the guise of a super-food, vitamin tonic. Unfortunately, we do not have enough supplies and we need every able bodied wizard to help, including you.

Pepper-up Buttercup
Elena stared at her empty cauldron that greeted her mentally racking her brain for exactly why she was doing this. This just went to prove the point that she failed to comprehend how Muggles could live without magic. Some mysterious plauge had stricken the population and thankfully, they were not as prone to it as Muggles. Still, the Ministry had taken it upon themselves to help their fellow counterparts out and that involved a lot of medicine..in large quantites. "Class actually coming into use for once." The Gryffindor muttered setting her cauldron down eyeing the ingredients in front of her. She think she had everything, it was easy enough to brew , Potions had always been one of her more lesiurely subjects.
Spooning out about 3 measures of honey into the cauldron, she turned it to about average heat watching the pot began to simmer. Right..the horn. Where was that? She really needed to organize her work station a bit better than this. Right now, it looked like a hurricane had just come through and did it's work for her. Eyeing the bicorn horn, she seized it and threw it in before settling in to wait mentally counting down the seven minutes in her head. To be fair, the girl was surprised she was remembering all the nifty details here and there. She was sure she would have forgotten something by now. Maybe she had and that was made her nervous. This potion was to be disitributed in a large quanity to the Muggles and what if it was her batch that made someone sick? Her inexperience that caused some horrible thing to happen.
"Stop it. Just stop thinking about it and do it." Elena told herself pulling out her wand and giving it a little wave over the cauldron. Now, they had come to the disgusting part. Frankly, the girl wanted nothing to do with the tentacles that lay there waiting to be deposited into the solution. They were slimy and crawly, two adjectives that Elena did not like the sound of. Making a face, she gripped the tentacles forcing herself not to think too much about the disgusting germs that the thing probably had and promptly dropped it in the pot followed by a little dash of the Murtlap essence. Instantly, her face was greeted by a mixture of steam and smoke causing her to cough a bit. 'Charming." She had a very sudden flashback to when she'd been down here in one of the classrooms and been unceremoniously deemed the victim of a Smokescreen Spell. Now, wasn't that a conceidence.
More horns. Thankfully, it was easy enough to tell apart the bicorn and the Graphorn, one was big, one was bigger. That and plus, each had it's own identifying characteristics that even the most dullest student could make out. Grabbing ahold of the Graphorn by the tip, it lowered itself into the potion mixture and again, Elena began her mental countdown of seven minutes. It was the next phase of the concotion she was gonna have to really man up. The potted plan in the corner seemed peaceful now but if she dared lay a finger on it, the corridors would erupt with a shril sound. "It's always the last part that's the hardest. Why is that?"Murmuring, she gave the solution another wand wave before reaching over and allowiing a set of earmuffs to settle over her ears.
"Alright, buddy, sorry about this but it's sorta necessary." She told the slumbering Mandrake. Suddenly, the peaceful looking plant was not very peaceful anymore. As she pulled it from it's respective pot, a shrill crying noice filled the classroom echoeing down the corridors as she quickly grabbed a knife and began to cut the roots which in turn silenced the rogue Mandrake. "Never gets old." Sliding the root into the potion as well, it was quickly followed by a touch of Limplet and Hemlock respectively. Weird names for ingredients and ones she probably would have forgotten had she not labeled them. Unscrewing the cork of yet another bottle, she tapped out 2 measures of dried nettle watching the herbs dissolve themselves in the potion.
For what seemed like the hundredth time, she waved her wand yet again watching as all the substances began to swirl before the potion settled apparently indicating a successful brew. The color looked good enough and it didn't smell of dragon dung or flobberworms so that was a plus. Glacning at the phials she'd brought along, she began to tap out the potion into several flasks until the cauldron was empty. Casting a Leviation Charm on the flasks, she watched as they shot up into the air and came to hover behind her following as she started her hunt for Professor Price. "Who knows where that old geezer could be by now." He'd be pleased to recieve such a large batch, that much Elena knew.
