Roses and Thorns
Kaylie slowly walked into the large library. Kaylie muttered to herself "I don't read much, so I should probably get a few books. Her life at Hogwarts had been a little wacky. She touched her tongue to her upper lip. Kaylie looked to her right and saw the restricted section. Kaylie wondered about the library picking a few books here and there. She quietly walked to an empty table and read to herself. Kaylie quickly finished the books as they were quite interesting. Kaylie stood up and put the books back where she found them. Kaylie found some other books and sat back down at her table and read these books a little more slowly as if they were quite dull. Kaylie then stood up once again putting the books back and wandered around the library. Before she new it she was in the restricted section. Kaylie muttered to herself " Oh dear, I hope no one saw me." Kaylie quickly walked out of the restricted section and strolled to the other side of the library to get some larger books. She grabbed two or three of these books and went back to her table and read them quietly. Kaylie took her time to read these books. "Oh I really love reading. I wished I had started reading more when I was a little girl." Kaylie said to herself. She continued to read the other books taking longer and longer to actually absorb the information.
The sun is the brightest star. Be the sun.
Roses and Thorns
"That really wasn't necessary. I was only asking for your name."
Autumn turned to face the girl. She could not say so far that she had enjoyed the girl's company. She had acted rude and hostile, making accusations about strangers who hadn't been talking with her in the first place. She seemed narrow-minded and stubborn. Yet still, Autumn turned to her and smiled politely. It was the strategic choice.
She put on her most innocent face and spoke.
"My name can remain a mystery. Otherwise, there really is no fun in it, is there?"
She chuckled before adding, in her own voice, "Besides, you have no reason to know my name aside from curiosity, which should be able to be kept under control. And it isn't as if I have any reason to tell you."
She chuckled, and then muttered in her head, "And besides, it's far more fun to not give you the satisfaction."
Autumn knew she was being unreasonable. She knew. She just did not happen to care too much about what this rude girl thought of her. She knew that everyone had their own perspective, and their own life and problems, and therefore it was not fair to judge, but this girl had gotten on her nerves, and she could pick up from the girl's expressions that the feeling was, essentially, mutual. The Gryffindor' mouth opened, and words came out, but Autumn did not comprehend her speech. Instead, her eyes drifted to a girl in Hufflepuff robes making her way into the Restricted Section of the library.
"I really do not think she is supposed to be there."
