Kennedy Cheek | WC: 213 | @Simon Kincaid | Greenhouse | March 30th 2026
Kennedy had finished her herbology lesson for the day, and was halfway back to the school when she realized she'd left her journal on one of the tables in the greenhouse. She left her friends and jogged back, already anxious that something could have happened to the journal while she had left it. Mentally she scolded herself, how could she had left her most important possession behind. Anyone who looked closely at Kennedy could tell how much she cherished the journal. She could often be found scribbling notes away or sketching birds she saw, collecting information to hopefully publish her work.
As she finally reached the greenhouse, she pulled on the door. To her surprise, it didn't open. She pulled a little harder, furrowing her brow in confusion as it didn't open yet again. It wasn't normal for the doors to be locked at this time of day, and she stood for a second hesitant to leave. She then pulled on the door one last time, with all her might, but instead of opening, she fell backward. She landed hard on her butt in the grass, her face flushing with embarrassment. She didn't know what to do, her life's work waited beyond those doors and she couldn't bare to just leave it there.
