The sunlight shining through the tree with a gentle wind blowing the calming scent from the lake really helped Alexis relaxed. She has been running around all day long, she was almost late for her class in the morning and almost forget to return her book to the library. She sat here with her brand new sketch book in her hand. Ever since she's been at Hogwarts, she hasn't had a chance to just sit still and just draw something.
The spectacular view of the Great Lake in front of her is perfect and the light seems to be just in the right amount and angle. She took a moment to take in all the scenery and to decide where she should start the picture.
She enjoyed the sound of water in the lake, the leaves rustling and the soft sound that her charcoal pencil made with the paper. She looked up from her sketch book once in a while but she was so focus on the drawing that she just blocked out the sound of a group of student chatting loudly about something nearby.
She didn't know how long she was just sitting there. All she know is the sketch was almost complete, it was just missing a couple of details. She looked down at her watch, she still have a lot of time. I suppose I could colour it today. Good thing I brought all the supplies then.

Damion had been in the School for over a week now. He was really enjoying everything that the school had to offer. He was getting along very well or so he hoped. He was not wanting to be a sad little boy- upset about not being home with his parents. He wanted to be the brave little boy, who was ready to handle anything that was thrown to him to be handled. He wanted to show his parents that yes he was capable of being responsible and well- being able to live alone.
He walked to the Great Lake with the thoughts of how he was going to spend his time here. Wearing a red shirt with light blue jeans, Damion made his way to the Lake. He was wanting to explore the place that he was going to call his new home. He wanted to get a gist of the place.
Damion could see the clear lake and a girl sitting there and drawing. He smiled to himself as he looked at the scenery in front of him. The Lake and the scenery there was very pleasant. Something that Damion liked. Being outside in the open and getting some fresh air. He had not been the type of person who would not appreciate the nature. Well back at home he would spend hours being outside when it was pleasant and his parents had to pull him inside literally.
With the thought of his home in his mind and a smile on his face he walked closer to the girl and the lake. He cleared his throat softly and said “Hey there.” He waited for a minute and then looking at her drawing and said “It’s very pretty.” He smiled and added “I’m Damion.” he was hoping that he had not scared her.

Alexis continued to ignore her surroundings and continued to paint in her own imaginary bubble. After a while she heard someone approaching her, she looked up to see a boy in a red shirt and a pair of light blue jeans closing the distance between them.
Her eyes met with the source of the greeting directed towards her. He came to a stop on front of her. She studied the boy in front of her for a moment. She recognized him, he was a first year Ravenclaw, the same as her. She must have seen him around the common room or the classes they have together. She smiled an said, "Hello to you as well."
She blushed a little when he compliments her drawing and tilted her drawing a little bit so he could see a little bit better, "Thank you. Do you paint?"
She realized she had not introduced herself yet, "Oh right! Sorry, I'm Alexis Asterion. Pleasure to meet you, Damion."
"Do you want to sit down? I can move my stuff. "
"So what brings you here today?" She smiled as she set the painting and moved her stuff to make some space for the boy to sit.
