Macie had walked out of the castle still in her school uniform but carried her sketch trunk she was sure no one would question it since she carried the trunk everywhere so it was not suspicious however her sketch supplies were not in it instead was her shoes and other things she would be wearing for the ball however she would need some help with her makeup as she had never put on makeup before.

Once the tiny Slytherin reached the changer rooms she quickly entered a room and changed into her dress and shoes and added the Jewelry then she stepped out with her mother's makeup palette she needed someone to help her do her makeup but once again she felt shy as a turtle. She looked around for anyone helping with makeup sadly to say the young Slytherin was by far to shy to call out for help she much rather someone come to her and ask if she needed help.

So Instead Macie just walked around aimlessly seeking someone to help her out. Macie loved her dress greatly it had been hand made by her father's mother before she died, and the Locket was charmed to play music when opened it had been given to Macie when she left for Hogwarts As well as the rest of the Jewelry she wore tonight. Macie was regretfully not watching where she was going until she bumped into someone, she jumped back a bit startled"Oh goodness, I am so sorry, I am so clumsy." Swallowing her nerves and shyness she softly then said" I am sorry to bother you but could you help me I know nothing about makeup"

Selim followed silently behind Lestrange, gaze steadily pointing forwards. Instinctively, he grasped his bento box, linking it with his other hand so it formed a bridge between the two limbs. The kimono's sleeves did the rest, concealing his hands from view.

His companion bumped into that girl that threatened to harm him a day or two before for answers, it looked like he purposefully collided with her. Selim didn't have the faintest clue as to why he did, but he didn't much care.

His geta clipped against the ground with minimal noise for a pair of wooden sandals, and stopped as Selim waited for Lestrange to disrobe, revealing a suit underneath his ally's robes that was solid black.

'Easier to conceal bloodstains,' he thought offhandedly, he supposed his own attire would do much the same, aside from his white stockings, but it was quite a pain to clean blood out of kimonos (Something Selim knew from experience).

Luckily, his kimono was just one copy of three, so if it got too torn or dirty, there wasn't much to lose.

The taller boy placed a note on the robes he had shredded, and Selim did, indeed, note to himself that he could tell the Fox where they were later.

Lestrange then turned to him with a smirk, “Shall we return to the pitch? We can discuss everything there.”

Selim remained expressionless, gaze half-lidded, "Very well, lead the way.". His voice was monotone, polite, his eyes, though, studied his companion with clinical calculation. His usual internal numbness felt more alive with the few 'feelings' that had risen up, wariness, unease, curiosity. They spun around in the hollow he had clung onto to keep from breaking, lazily, like dying fireflies, but it was something as opposed to nothing, and that something was starting to lethargically circulate adrenaline through his veins in preparation for a fight.

Everything felt off, like that night in the commons room when those arachnids attacked. It felt wrong, like an illusion of a joyous night hiding the shadows of some nightmarish beast waiting to prey upon them all.

His gaze began to sharpen, he was shifting gears from constant apathy to constant awareness. It was unintentional, an instinct that had been seared into him through his training with the clan, hardened into a blade and sharpened by his kidnapping.

It had been turned off for a while, but now that familiar sharp clarity of everything around him was returning... he was seeing enemies in the shadows again.

The weight of the blades he had hidden on his person gave him a small bit of reassurance as he prepared to follow his peer, allowing him the illusion of control. He still was unsure of why this boy was interested in him after their few brief meetings, and Selim was honestly uneasy around an unknown like Lestrange, he didn't fit into Selim's metaphorical equation he had created for his school, just like the missing headmaster didn't, just like how those spiders, and that curse didn't.

He'd have to ask his father for extra training if he made it to summer break.

For now, he'd judge whether or not he wanted to participate in the unknown's plans.

Summary: Chatting with @Jake Morris, @Jack Warren, and @Alan Vanes.
Giving @Vladimir Athanatos the stink eye.
George glanced down at himself, seeming dissatisfied by the sight of his skinny chicken legs sticking out from underneath his kilt. The last time he wore this getup, it was indoors. Now that they were out on the pitch, he was going to freeze his butt off. Oh well. That's how Scots did it back in the day, and they grew up to be pretty tough, his mother said. It wasn't clear how having cold legs was meant to make you tough, but it did get him to stop complaining out loud. He looked up to address Jake's stupid question, furrowing his brow. "If I wanted to leave you I would have kept you in the dorm room. Now c'mon, he's probably on the pitch already."

He was swiftly corrected when he stepped away and bumped right into Alan, who was hanging his robe up on the hooks and revealing the beautiful outfit he had on underneath. George had to take a step back as he took in the sight - the third-year boy looked so stylish, except for the tie, which George disliked but could ignore. His chipmunk cheeks were plump and red with the remains of blush he had applied as well as a natural tinge of pink. He couldn't wait to get out and dance with his cool, older friend.

"Alan!" Just when he thought he couldn't get any more excited, he caught sight of Jack. Now that was a blindingly brilliant star. As always, the oldest of the badger boys had brought something entirely unexpected. He had a suit so candy-pink that would make Madam Puddifoot retch, and he looked absolutely horrible in it. Still, George's smile could only grow - he loved to see his friends so dressed up. "Jack! Okay- are you waiting for anyone? Let's go out onto the pitch!"

George checked Jack, then Alan, and then Jake - pausing as he saw what the hold-up was. Some older kid. He was wearing gloves. He was looking for Jake. Sandy brown hair, young features... looks about eight. George was on the defensive in an instant, lifting a leg up and wiggling it around in an awkward gesture to make sure that his wand hadn't fallen out from under his kilt - the place he had jammed it in his belt wasn't exactly the most comfortable, but a kilt limits your options.

He had Jack for backup, this time, and Alan too. Of course - this could just be one of Jake's friends, or some older kid who had taken to babysitting him like some of the others did. He attracted a lot of attention by looking too young to be here. He bobbed his head toward Vladimir, his nose wrinkling up as he took in the grim attire of the Ravenclaw lad. "Jake, is this your friend?"

Oswald stood in his room , infront of his drawer. He thought about his outfit for the night, at the so called "Blossom Ball". "What dress code would fit to this kind of event? Maybe a suit? Or just casual?". He thought and thought and thought - maybe he was overthinking it? He took a step back and inhaled and exhaled loud, before he simply grabbed a blank, honey coloured shirt, light blue jeans and black sneakers. A casual style; simple and comfortable, yet stylish. He took a shower, styled his hair and grabbed all his clothes.

It was a clear and beautiful evening. Although something seemed weird for a moment. The Arena looked empty from the outside. "Is this the right place? Did I misread something?" His negative thought dwindeled when he spotted other students casually walking into the Arena and decided to follow them. When he entered it, he noticed several candles which were apparently trapped in some sort of bubble. Who ever organized the Ball probably hoped to minimize the danger of burning everything to the ground - again. When he entered the Boy changing room, Oswald noticed the rich ammount of flowers. They were everywhere and made the place look rather like a sweet scenting garden, then a smelly changing room. He looked for a relativly private spot and began to change his clothes.

He looked into a mirror one more time to check, if everything looked good. He adjusted his glasses, played a bit with his hair on few spots to make sure they look fluffy and soft and made his way to the Main Area.

Alexander walked into the boys changing rooms with his school robes and with his school bag slung over his right shoulder. Though rather than filled with books and other school materials it now had some far different contents.

As he walked towards the quidditch pitch Alexander saw a long trickle of students walking towards it. Some already seeming to wear their fancy clothing. Even whilst approaching Alexander felt himself grow nervous. In hindsight maybe he should have put a little more effort into getting some better clothing. Alexander just knew he would stand out in comparison to how shabby his clothing was as opposed to the clothing of everyone else.

Even the realization that much of this clothing was going to be thrashed tonight and that it was better not to wear something too expensive could not help his nerves.

Thus as he walked into the changing rooms he could not help but look around. So many people putting on so many fancy suits. He even swore he could see a person with a literal kilt on.
He guessed that the should probably not be surprised, this was a school in Scotland after all.
He then looked towards his bag and looked almost disappointed in himself. He only had a too big black tie suit that his father held in the cupboard for 'when Alexander had a special occasion'. He guessed that it did in fact fit that description.

Thus Alexander went and sat at a bench. Grabbing a black tie suit from his school bag. If someone were looking very intently they could see that Alexander had in his bag not only a black tie suit but a whole lot of rope as well? Alexander's father had some questions when he asked for it but Alexander said that it was for outdoor activities. Which was not lying per se but something else than what his father probably imagined.

Alexander would then close his bag once more and get the black-tie suit of the plastic covering. He would then quickly strip out of his Hogwarts robes. First removing his robe, then removing his pants (and quickly replacing them with the formal pants) and vice versa for his shirt. He would then put on the 'jacket' of the black-tie and made sure that all the buttons were right where they needed to be.
He then went towards a mirror and spend almost 5 minutes trying to get the tie just right.

Then he would sigh and put his normal clothes back onto his school bag. Concealing the rope.
Then he put the bag on his right shoulder and walked out of the changing room.

Soon all of Hogwarts buzzed with conversation of the secret ball, hushed whispers, fellow peers asking each other out- It was only a matter of time before Mildred had heard about it. At first, she thought it was rather... unnecessary. Breaking rules for a ball, She has never been the type to exactly the break the rules unless it benefited herself or her friends. Until she found out the majority of her friends were going and someone had asked her to go with them and this caused her to actually start looking forward to the ball, within the upcoming week of the ball she found herself buzzing with excitement.

It all had started out fine, Mildred resided anxiously in her dorm with Willow. Together they would both pass time making small talk, mainly mindless chatter about the ball itself and how it would go. Mildred couldn't help but think about the rumors she has heard about the pass balls and how nothing ever goes well. In the end, It all had boiled down to the fact of she worried about Willow and all her friends who were attending, would everyone make it out safely? One thing she was happy about was Willow was at least going with someone and hopefully, they would protect her.

Realizing the time, She realized that she should just shove these thoughts out of her head and at least try to enjoy the ball- probably nothing was going to happen anyway right? If worst came to worst, she could find willow and run off and hide somewhere. She carefully folded her dress and placed it inside a small black bag along with her shoes- she clipped on these cute frog earrings she found under her bed the other day and she stood in front of a mirror and messed around with her hair wondering what she should do with it, tie it? leave it the way it is? after a handful of hairstyle changes, she tied it into a bun and left it at that.

It was when Willow had kissed Mildred on the head and left had the real waterworks began, she fell onto her bed and stared at the ceiling with tears streaming down her face. Of course, at first, she was going to go to the ball with someone but it seemed life had other plans and they had mysteriously disappeared. Was it her fault? probably, she just wasn't sure.... Did she do something wrong? did she smell badly, no no... she knew that wasn't the answer- Willow would have told her. Did she talk funny? she just wasn't sure. She turned over and looked at Chicken, should she bring Chicken with her? No... too many people there. She placed chicken on her face- something she has always done since childhood, it just felt... calming for some reason. She sat there by herself with Chicken for a while until her breathing wasn't labored anymore, and she had finally stopped crying. She sat up steadying herself with her bed frame and placed Chicken down. Should she go? She didn't really have anyone there to talk with and there was no way she was going to crash her friend's private dates. She turned and stared at chicken for a while- it seemed Chicken had answered the question for her. Her fluffy companion would want her to go, she was sure of it- plus she did say she was going... it would be strange if she didn't show up at least.

With a deep breath, Mildred got up from her bed and hugged Chicken before finally tucking him in the bed, she kissed him on the head and whispered "Don't stay up for me" With that done, she picked up her bag and headed for the quidditch pitch.

While walking to the quidditch pitch, She noticed the number of people actually going and was shocked at the amount, while trying to ignore those going in with other people. She entered the girls changing room and spread out her dress and wore it placing her normal clothing inside the bag. It was... definitely interesting to say, it was a green dress with stripes although that part wasn't important! it was the frogs on the dress which were Mildred's favorite, and of course the shoes. She put on the shoes and walked around and they made a little "squeak" every time she stepped which brought joy to the small girl, perhaps coming was a great idea after all. She couldn't help but dance in the small area she was and hearing her shoes squeak.

With her outfit mainly done, she went to a nearby mirror and winced at her messed up hair. Before she had rolled around in her bed it was a neater bun but now it had stray hair poking out and looked more like lopsided ice cream on a sunny day, she used her hands trying to fix it. Although it wasn't her best- in the end it was decent, she decided to leave and head off to wherever the main ball was.

Ever since she learnt Crinus Muto in transfiguration, she had been using the practical spell for many occasions from braiding her hair during classes to dolling up for formal events. However, the gryffindor had never used the spell to colour her hair, She quite liked her brown hair, but today she was a little more adventurous. It took a little more than twenty minutes and numerous tries for aurelia to perfect the braids of sea-green teal and was more than satisfied with the outcome. Granted, the shade of blue was far more vibrant than what was once brown lock and one would definitely be able to identify her if even if she was a mile away. Then again, no one who she was acquainted with would expect her to adorn a head full of the colour.

Spending another 10 minutes, Aurelia changed out of her robes and put on her killer heels. The pair of footwear was not very practical, save from using it as a weapon if ever necessary. It could kill someone if she struck hard enough, at the same time, she could end up spraining her ankle if she was not careful. it was a double-edged sword Aurelia had to be very careful with. Her wand was strapped along her forearm and hidden under her sleeves. The other weapon, her dagger was strapped securely in its sheath along the back of her right thigh, which she could access through the slit of her dress. the teal-haired Gryffindor was prepared and ready to hunt.

However, while she was keeping her school robes away, the mention of her name caused her to turn. At the sight of Lydia, a perfect, flawless visage, her eyes dilated, a reflex noticeable with a keen eye. The part-veela's charm had an immediate effect on the monster hunter and causing an absurd infatuation to kick into her system. Of course, the monster hunter was quick to identify the cause, yet she allowed herself to fall into its grasp, as if the charm was lulling part of her mind into a deep slumber. After all, it couldn't hurt and it was simply, extremely pleasant.

The words tumbled out of the younger girl's lips in a frantic train. the Hufflepuff clarified the reason for her distress: her hair. Even the veela's words seemed to have a significant effect on Aurelia as if there was an impulsive need to please the creature in front of her. In a few moments, the teal-haired Gryffindor was now behind the Hufflepuff and inspecting the damage. This was exactly what made these beautiful creature's so dangerous. Aurelia herself knew that, yet she was defenceless against their charm. Perhaps her susceptibility would improve along the years. It had to.

"Your hair is gorgeous regardless. Pity. It must have taken a long time given that hair curlers do not work within Hogwarts." The fourteen year old removed the hanging floral ornaments from the ginger's head. Slender fingers comb through the silky lock to tame the mess. One option is a simple french braid. Another is magic, I did my hair with a spell, which would you prefer?

Lydia couldn't help but stare at the older girl as she made her way towards her. She looked flawless and kind of dangerous, and the red headed girl randomly thought that she wished she had half the grace and beauty of the brunette teal haired girl.

She listened to Aurelia's words and nodded, a little frown appearing on her face. It did take her ages to get them all curly, since she had to braid them and sleep for an entre night on them to obtain that effect. "Yeah, and somehow I managed to ruin them... It must have happened while I was fixing up some flowers and candles in the Pitch. I can't believe I've walked around like this," she whine, before her eyes widened at Aurelia's suggestion.

She could have used a spell to fix them? That would have been amazing, not to mention extremely quick as well, since the red headed girl was worried that her date might arrive at any moment at the Ball and not find her. What if he thought she had stood him up?

Lydia watched as Aurelia carefully removed the flowers from her hair, feeling a sense of sadness at the sight, but she thought that the other girl knew exactly what she was doing, after all her hair looked amazing in those braids, not to mention the colour!

"I think I'm okay with the spell! I prefer having my hair down tonight," she answered the other girl's question, as she gave her a warm smile through the mirror. "Thank you so much for helping me, I don't know what I would have done otherwise!"

The red headed girl stared at Aurelia via the mirror as the other girl cast the spell on her hair, hoping that it would have succeeded. In the small chance of it not working, Lydia thought she would have simply let her hair down like everyday, probably placing a flower over her ear or something.
Permission was given to lightly godmod Aurelia casting the spell.

Veela were beautiful yet dangerous because of the very beauty they withheld. All peculiars were a threat no matter how innocent they seem, take Lydia for example. What may seem like a young oblivious Hufflepuff, may pose a threat once realising the potential of her own abilities derived from her own blood and ancestry. Tasked by Astrehilde, her grandmother and monster hunter, her duty was to identify the non-humans in school and ensure that they remained docile. Yet, although mostly passive, Aurelia's duty included dealing with those menaces, Kaegen for example.

Aurelia would never consider herself a friend with a non-human. She would admit, because of their abilities, they made useful allies but that was as far as the intimacy would go. Yet her action of providing aid to a distressed part-veela seemed to contradict her ideas. Lydia was non-human but she was not a monster... yet. To say the least, she was only doing her job in keeping an eye on the peculiars of the school. However, she would be lying if she said that spending time with Lydia was unenjoyable. Perhaps it was solely due to the charm.

A heap of grateful sentences the girl had uttered. The gryffindor's head lifted, blue-grey eyes found Lydia's green hues in the reflection. "Of course, everyone wants to look their best selves for a ball. Especially if you have a date. I'm sure someone as pretty as you would have gotten a date. Who is the lucky soul if you don't mind me asking?" Aurelia asking light-heartedly. After brushing through the girl's lush locks thoroughly, Aurelia produced her wand from under her sleeve.

Concentration was key to a successful spell. Too distracted by the girl's beauty, Aurelia her mind had not been too focused on the task at hand as she waved her wand and articulating every vowel of the incantation,"Crinus Muto," The spell did its trick but went a little overboard. Silky red locks began to curl into soft waves and weaved around the crown of the head, the loose strands of hair trickling gracefully over her shoulders. When Aurelia thought the spell was completed, the hue of the red hair began to contrast in colour. Uh-oh. Sheer blue. "Lydia..." the Gryffindor said.

"Don't fret, the effects can be reversed."

There wasn't much room for the evenings' dinner in his stomach. Zykeal wasn't normally nervous at all, getting into trouble was something second nature to him. It was the fact that he actually had, well, a date to the ball. There hadn't been much interaction with the girl before, having met only a few times before, but they'd always look to each other in the halls with soft smiles and little greetings. For one, he didn't want to screw things up with her. She seemed like a genuinely amazing person and he had to make sure he was on his "A-Game".

Having crept out of the castle after a group had passed through the doors, he made sure he took a moment till he was alone and let himself slip out quietly. Figuring this was more of a stealth mission anyways, he adorned his normal black on black casual clothing he had brought with him from the muggle world, wand slipped between his pants and boxers. An addition though to his attire was a tanned leather satchel, big enough normally for his books, but made do for the change of clothes that he was to adorn to the ball.

As he made his way to where he saw most of the students heading into, he noted the ones who looked a little less glamorous and decided to follow the crowd to where the changing rooms must be. Tagging along behind another, he quickly scanned the gathered students who seemed to be chatting freely, giggling, and conversing with themselves. A gander to an empty corner where there was an open stall, he made his way over towards it and let himself in so that he could get changed into his attire. Figuring that most of the students would probably adorn something more colored to their houses, he preferred to stay a little more neutral at the time.

Matte black suit pants, a perfectly white collared shirt, a black buckled belt, and a dark grey vest were adorned. Taking his time in front of the mirror to make sure that he was quite happy with his appearance before he took his wand and placed it into a low hanging pen pocket on the inside of his vest. Sitting himself down on the bench that was inside the stall, he smiled as he thought of how his mom thought to get him some new clothes for the new school that he was attending and happy that she had got him something to wear for occasions like these. After stowing his belongings in the satchel that had held his previous clothes, he'd concluding his business in the stall by slipping on over his head the already tied tie, his mother was so clever, and then tightening it till he was comfortable with his appearance.

Shifting his way with his belongings out of the stall, he'd make his way over towards the lockers and stowed his stuff inside hoping no one would be foolish enough to bother with first-years possession. After a moment of hesitation, he turned and started heading out towards where assumed the pitch was. As he reached towards the exit, he shifted a little and noted that there was an area that led up towards the stands. Thinking that it'd be wise to get a lay of the land from a vantage point, he went up to see what the landscape of the ball had in store for him this evening and to steady his nerves before his date arrived.
