Dear Mama and Papa,
It's me, Cass! You better not miss me already, because that would be a problem. You're probably home right now, or maybe Papa's at work. Either way, I'm sure you're reading this letter together somehow.
The train ride was nine hours long! Papa, you didn't tell me that! You said it was only a few hours!
Thank you again Mama for helping me pack my things. It helped a lot when I needed to get my things out, I'm sorry for telling you that I didn't need it :'D
The food is really good and the castle is buetiful beautiful. All the teachers seem really nice and I'm super excited for classes to start tomorrow. And I've met some friends on the train!
I was sorted into Slytherin, which is whatever, I guess.
How are you you two? Again, you better not miss me already. I bet you've already sent some letters, huh? Hehe.

Dear Mama and Papa,
It's Cass; greetings from the den of snakes. I'm sorry I hadn't sent any letters yet. I've written some, but I obviously hadn't sent them yet. But I was right, you have sent some letters already. A lot, actually. I miss you too.
Are you mad that I was sorted in Slytherin? If you are, I'm sorry, I don't like it either. I'm sure the hat just made a mistake. It's something I'm stuck with, I suppose. I'm plotting on hiding somewhere after curfew (not really, haha, just a joke).
I've also just found something out. Some of the older kids have forged permission slips to go into the town next to Hogwarts, Hogsmeade. I think if I save up some of the change I find around, I could get one. Do you know any good spots there to go to?
I'm doing good in my classes. I think my favorite class is Defense Against the Dark Arts, the professor there is really funny!
