The best gift!
It's Laverne birthday! She felt happy since her birthday's in January, start of the year with her birthday! This must be Laverne's last birthday with her family for 7 years! Laverne came running outside, and saw 3 presents waiting for her to unpack. And a note too. Check the note later Lav. said her mom, laughing. Ohh sorry, Good morning mum and dad! Then she heard an owl hoot. You too, Athena! She thought it was her family owl, but no. This owl was holding a letter. Wait... Is that my Hogwarts letter! Laverne goes and grabs the letter from the owl before the owl even had a chance to fly and give it to her. Omg!!!! It is!

After holding the paper for 3 whole minutes, she finally got to open her presents. First was a pair of top and bottoms, second were a couple of heels, and third was some makeup. Thank you so much mum and dad! And Laverne, check the note too. says her dad. Ohh the note! Yeah right!

Laverne took at least 30 mins to get ready. After that without saying a word she went and sat in the car. You look excited Lav. Maybe cuz I am! They were driving and driving and then she fell asleep. Laverne, we're here! Huh what? Laverne was pretty confused but then she remembered. Ohh no! How could I have possibly fallen asleep! She got out. London?! Are we here to buy my Hogwarts stuff? You'll see honey.
Yes, they were. They spent an hour to fetch stuff like her wand, robes and what not. Laverne was getting pretty excited at first, but then bored. This was not the surprise I expected...
Then there it was, her mom and dad were taking her in Magical Menagerie. Magical Menagerie?! The magical pet shop? Am I getting a pet as a gift too? Yes Lav, a pet as your 4th gift. said her mom. No way, no way! Laverne ran all over the shop. She saw Pygmy Puffs, Ferrets, Toads, Cats. But the section which caught her eyes was the Owls.
She walked calmly over to the owls. She saw many of them. She was just going over to the Indian Eagle Owl but just then something sat on her hand. She looked back and saw an Arctic Owl sitting on her hand. Laverne you can breath, it's not like you forced it to sit. Something made her touch her owl, which the owl totally let her. After she was done, she went and placed it on the shop keeper's desk. Her mom and dad were behind her. Mum, dad... Can I have her? Her mum and dad looked at each other Yes Laverne, you can have her. I was jumping up and down in my head! I can.. I can have.. I can have an owl!! I would love to buy her. And name her... Ivory. she said to the shop keeper.
After wards she was walking down the lane, with an owl in her hand. Her owl.
