Bonjour maman et papa!

I'm sorry for not writing to you both sooner. But I was so tired yesterday, I went straight to bed after dinner in the Great Hall and the school tour. The school is absolutely fascinating and helps me with not missing home and the both of you too much. All the professors and students seem like such nice people too. I made a friend on the train @Aldric Thorne. Oh, I was sorted into Slytherin! It was the one house I didn't expect, but I don't really mind, and I hope you don't either. Adrian will shoot off the roof when he hears the news.

It's a rather long stretch of stairs to the Slytherin dungeons, but I suppose I'll have to get used to it. I was assigned to the Narcissa Malfoy dorm, and I love it there. It's personalised to match my room at home! My dormmate's simply enchante. That's it for now. I've got to go down to breakfast. I'm also excited for the classes, especially charms! I'll write about my first day in my next owl.

Pass my greetings to Adrian. He'll definitely forget I'm at Hogwarts now and owl my letters home instead. Just send them along with your letters. Oh and please carefully pack my chocolate frog card collection and owl them too. Merci, mama. thank you, mother.

Hello darling!

Firstly, congratulations on being sorted to Slytherin! You know we would never mind whatever house you may have been sorted into. You don't know how happy I am to know you are experiencing the same feelings of joy, excitement and anticipation that I felt during the beginning at my long stay at Hogwarts.

And certainly I'll send them over with the next owl. I miss seeing my little angel. Take care and don't forget to turn in your homework on time. Not that I need to tell you this. Papa sends his regards and a big hug. He says he misses his little helper but he's glad you're having a good time.
