Watching The Rippling Water
Lennon was standing by the boathouse looking at the dark water and he was feeling realy tired but he wanted to see if he could find any big fish near the surface and he pulled out his notebook and wrote down how many ripples he saw every minute because he likes to track the mathamatics of the water moving in the lake and his face was blank and he looked sluggish but he was having fun being near the water and thinking about the giant squid and he wondered if it was a friendly monster or if it liked to eat piranas like the ones he liked back home in Texas and he just wanted to sit there forever and keep counting the waves until his weak muscles stopped feeling like jelly and he hoped someone would come by and talk to him about his drawings of turtles or maybe even help him carry his heavy bag back up to the dungeons because he was just so sleepy and he realy needed a big plate of chicken for dinner and he thought about how many gallons of water were in the lake and if he could calculate the exact volume if he had enough time and a better ruler but his brain was feeling a bit slow from the cold wind and he wondered if the boats were automated by magic or logic and he just kept staring at the deep green depths until his glasses started to fog up and he wiped them on his robes while he yawned realy wide and looked for a place to sit.
