As it was extremely warm right in the big square, so that made me go to the small shop down the street to buy a cold fruit soda and refresh myself.

It was sweltering in the crowded big square, so I was compelled to go to the small shop down the street, owned by Mr. Clark, to buy a cold fruit soda and regain my composure, even if only for a while, as the sun glared down on me.

Since it was hot in the big, crowded square, I had to go fetch a cold fruit soda from Mr Clark's, to keep myself calm, even though it wouldn't help for long, as the sun was still hot. It was so hot, I decided to go to the cinema, for their air conditioner.
