As Mildred walked towards the Library- She was determined and had a goal in mind, today was the day she would start writing again. In her hand, she held onto her journal. The journal in question was nothing fancy, the cover of it had an awful cheesy inspirational quote, of course, she wasn't the one who had picked it out. She looked at it- remembering the good and bad times she has had with it, she touched the front of it where it said, "You are braver than you think, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think" suddenly remembering the day she got it, she had actually received it as a birthday gift from her Aunt. At first, it sat on her desk for months, then summer rolled around and school was out. She was bored and had nothing to do until one day she stumbled upon the journal and decided to start writing random stories into it, once summer ended and she could go back to school she found herself actually writing inside the journal on a daily basis, perhaps this is what grew her love for writing.

Oddly, she felt a sense of peace when she looked at the journal, it was such a small journal that contained thousands of stories she has woven out of nothing throughout her years, of course, some of them... were not the best. As she walked towards the library, she decided to start flipping through the journal. She stumbled upon one of her first works, she laughed as she read through it.

She wasn't exactly sure when she had written that, perhaps when she was around six? maybe, she decided to flip a little more and found a poem. Eventually, she had started writing poems instead of stories for some odd reason- she supposed it was like a "phase" like other kids went through a dinosaur phase and she just went through an odd "I write poems now" phase. She found one of her first poems and remembered the drama that happened with it, the poem was actually about her mother and school- until her mother found it. (Although, it was her fault for leaving it open on her desk, she finally learned that she should really keep her stuff more hidden. Thus began her hiding her journal under her bed)

It was one of the first time she had seen her mother get really upset at her, they didn't talk to each other for about a week. In her rage at her mother, she had scratched everything out. she was surprised that younger her didn't just tear it out or something- she shrugged, she would never know what she wrote now. If anything, she was glad to see that her handwriting was more decent.

Finally reaching the library, she pushed the door open and walked in. The library today wasn't too crowded or full, she looked around for an empty table near the windows and headed there. Her favorite spot in the library was anywhere near the windows- she loved looking out at the great lake or as weird as it may seem, she also liked to people watch.

Ever since she started attending Hogwarts, she has found that she has had less and lesser time to write stories inside her journal, although today she would change it! She flipped towards the end of her journal, realizing that soon she would have to get a new one. She found an empty page and wrote her name on top, and started writing.
Once upon a time-
Wait, starting stories with that seemed a little too childish... she crossed it out and started it again,
There once was...
She groaned, starting it off like that didn't seem... too good, although deciding that was the best she could do right now she went with it.

Eventually, an hour had passed. The story was coming along pretty well, although Mildred was stuck at the moment and needed a reference. She decided that her story today would be based on a story of apple people and a journey two apples and a pear went on, throughout the story, she referenced astronomy quite a lot and wanted to make sure her work was accurate, even though no one other than herself would read her stuff. She quickly got up, picking up her notebook before finally walking off towards the leftish side of the library and looked for anything astronomy-related.

As she walked through the thick shelves lined with books, she looked left and right for what she needed. "Divination... no that's not it... Arithmancy... what even is that?" She walked further down, "Aha! astronomy!" She pulled out any book, she shrugged she just needed something basic and walked back towards where she was seated. While walking back, she had accidentally tripped on something- air? she had tripped on nothing before- although that wasn't the main issue she had accidentally dropped her notebook she was holding.

Visiting the ground, someone fell down from the tree and hit her. Visiting the abandoned toilets, her necklace got stolen by a random girl. Visiting the Slytherin common room got attacked by spiders and had to visit the Hospital Wings instead. Visiting this, that happened and killed her.

After nearly two years of being a fellow Hogwarts pupil, the second child of the Choi family accepted the fact that peaceful time in this school was one of the rarest things to achieve.

The library was one of the only places that could give the students a quiet time without being disturbed. Back then, she got flippendoed once in this place, but that was only once in the many times of visiting. The library deserved the title of one of the best places in the wizarding school Hogwarts. No wonder why it was full most of the time.

Putting on her Slytherin uniform with the same old black coat and bonus a small bag with her wand inside, she was ready to go to the library.

There were not many students in the hallway or to be honest, there was nearly no one here. As far as the second year had known, the third years and above were visiting Hogsmeade, where there was nearly nothing but some random shops. It was questionable how people were interested in going to the same place over and over again when nothing was interesting going around it.

Well, it was a good thing that they decided to go there instead of staying in this school. That meant the Slytherin Prefect would have fewer problems to deal with in those weekends. She would prefer spending some more time for herself instead of going around and give detention to everyone.

The library was not as full as usual, due to the same reason for the hall being empty. Such a good day to come and relax in this place. Without hesitation, she went to the side of the astronomy books. She had already finished all of the homework on the day they were given. Her reason for finding astronomy books was for her interest. It was funny how she was a serious person, she should have liked runes instead of astronomy. But well, she didn’t regret liking it.

After finishing borrowing the books, Luna put the them in her bag with care. The girl was not going to leave the library, but she wanted to make sure if she didn't have enough time to finish it here, she would be able to go out with the books without forgetting to borrow them.

Luna walked across the lines of tables and searched for the table in the corner, which was her favorite one. On an usual day, that spot was usually empty, and that was how it became her favorite.

Something fell off. Turning her head down, her eyes went a bit wider as soon as she noticed that she was stepping on a notebook, or whatever that colorful thing was. The girl's eyes went normal at the moment she realized it should not be any books from the library. It looked more like a kid’s notebook, probably belonged to some random first year.

She looked straight to the table where she was going to go and continued walking without caring whose the book belonged to.

Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

Her journal has survived far worst, after all, it has been in her possession for almost her entire life- the accidental water spilling, and even the occasional dropping it, and for it somehow fall in some sort of liquid. It had survived it all, minus the few stains on some pages, and the small tearing on the front, it was still in prime condition to her. Still, she couldn't help but wince and frown when she had dropped it. The falling itself, couldn't have done much damage however, in reality, her journal was really standing on its last legs and she really needed a new one soon.

It was perhaps, her second most valuable possession- second to Chicken of course. She couldn't bear to abandon it, maybe she could send it back home and have her parents keep it for her, she mentally shook her head- her parents would definitely snoop through it. As she bent down to pick it back up, her vision was blocked by someone stepping on it- "huh?" She looked back up to see dark purple hair, an interesting choice of hair color. Was it dyed? that was the most logical conclusion she could think of.

Judging from the hair color, she most definitely didn't know them- she wasn't even sure if they were a first-year also, she's never seen someone with purple hair in her class. she would have noticed it.

It was even worst that they didn't even apologize for stepping on her journal, she was sure the purple-haired girl noticed she had stepped on something because she had paused and looked down, she watched as they walked away without a care in the world. "... hey eggplant!" she faintly gasped and covered her mouth immediately, she wasn't one for calling people names- it had just flown out of her mouth, she removed her hands and fiddled with her robes.."you should watch where you're going!!" she yelled after the girl as she walked away.

She would regret calling someone an eggplant later, maybe run to Willow and claim that her social life is over. She wasn't even sure why she had said eggplant, the vegetable in question had the green- whatever- thing at the top. She picked back the book and wiped some dust off it, it was like no one cared about anything anymore! All she thought about was how rude the other girl was being for stepping on her journal and not even a small apology.
