Let you down
It was always so easy to assume. That was one of the most important lessons Hogwarts had ever taught her. It was always easy for them to assume that she was a ghost, just not possessing the qualities and traits to be a real one. It was honestly frustrating, there were so many things she wanted to blurt out, so many emotions she wanted to express. But alas, emotions were the one thing she didn’t have. Well, not really the only thing, she also didn’t have parents and friends. But that didn’t make much of a difference to her anyways. It never did, been as a kid. Maybe it was because she was content being on her own, she could talk to herself freely without the fear of being judged. She had to go though that a lot.Interacting with: Open to anyone from year 2 to 7

She walked up to the empty classroom, her bag slung over her shoulder. She sat down at the back and exhaled. What a terrible, horrid world. But unfortunately, there wasn’t a world B, so she’d have to stick with this one.
She took out her songwriting journal from her bag, as well as a quill and an ink pot. She flipped through all the pages, contains her most cherished songs and poems, explaining her emotions through a sweet melody. She opened a new page, and started writing, pausing after every moment to think of a new lyric.
After about half an hour of work, this was her final draft.
She then slumped back in her seat, not wanting to leave just yet.LET YOU DOWN
(Verse 1)
Remember the days, when we used to dance in the rain
There was a smile on your face, and nothing would have to change
But I couldn’t have it that way.
Those things could’ve been said in a better way,
Wish I didn’t have to see you fade away.
But, still I’ll remember that one day,
The moment when I saw your face,
And maybe it’s just me hallucinating, but I can’t help but start complaining-
(Prechorus)
Deep inside, I’m thinking it was too much ,much ,much
And leaving you was tough, tough, tough
I didn’t know I’d be that rough, rough rough
I’m sorry I wasn’t enough.
(Chorus)
I’m still crying by the window,
My hearts still filled with sorrow.
Reminding me of how I LET YOU DOWN
I’m always thinking of you , how I LET YOU DOWN,
I wanna say it’s not too late, I wanna say we’re still ok,
But I still let you down…
(Verse 2)
I wish I knew how to go back to when we started,
When I wasn’t so broken-hearted
Maybe I built my walls too high,
For you to come inside,
But now I can’t tear them down.
And I say I’ve tried many times,
To break through the walls of discord,
But then I end up pushing you from a height.
And, maybe it’s just me hallucinating, but i can’t help but start complaining-
(Prechorus)
Deep inside my hearts still in love, love, love
And leaving you was tough, tough, tough
I didn’t know I could be that rough, rough rough
I’m sorry I wasn’t enough.
(Chorus)
I’m still crying by the window,
My hearts still filled with sorrow.
Reminding me of how I LET YOU DOWN
Always thinking of you made me mad on how I LET YOU DOWN
I wanna say it’s not too late, I wanna say we’re still ok,
But I still let you down…
(Bridge)
I thought we were perfect, I guess we weren’t
You tried everything to stop me from getting hurt
I should’ve known every story would come to an end,
Is it too late now to make amends?
(Chorus)
And I’m still crying by the window,
My hearts still filled with sorrow.
Reminding me of how I LET YOU DOWN
Always thinking of you made me mad on how I LET YOU DOWN
I wanna say it’s not too late, I wanna say we’re still ok,
But I still let you down…
