Spring Birthday Bash!!!
Introduction Post, Graphics to ComeOut in the Hogwarts Grounds, at 3pm on April 25th, the area had been made into a celebration of Rosalyn(Rosie) Willows' 12th birthday. With every decoration, activity, and sweet treat speaking to who she was and the things she loved, the party could most definitely not be mistaken by anyone else.
She'd come out at about 9 in the morning on the beautiful Saturday in order to set everything up. Still, at 3, the weather was beautiful, sunny with the slightest breeze so it was slightly cool. When one first walked into the area, they'd see a little trail of pink rose petals leading over to a table. On the table was a light pink tablecloth, as well as some party hats that the guests were free to take if they wanted to. Later on, that was where the party favours would go, but not at that moment in time.
A sign on the table said 'Welcome, everyone, to Rosie's 12th Birthday Party! Please come in, and feel free to do whatever you'd like!' On the table was also space for gifts or cards, if either were brought/made, but not expected.
After walking past the first table, there were many options for what people could do. On another table, surrounded by chairs, were many craft supplies(paper, glue, stickers, glitter, pipe cleaners, scissors, plenty of things) for making crafts. A bit away from that was another table(yet again having chairs) with things to make small flower arrangements. Nearly every type of flower one could imagine was there, including roses, dahlias, daisies, lavender, sunflowers, asters, poppies, various ferns, and plenty of others. There were also ribbons of various colours, mainly pink and green, to hold the flowers together or to tie around small jars that the flowers could all fit in. There was also a sage-green blanket laid out for people to sit on to chat, relax, or just take a break on.
Then, on the largest table yet, on top of another pink tablecloth, were various foods and drinks. There were some biscuits(chocolate chip, double chocolate, sugar, snickerdoodle, and more) for people to enjoy, with a bowl of buttercream frosting and a spatula to put frosting on the biscuits if desired. Several different macaron flavours also called the table home, namely vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel, and pistachio. As for drinks, there was tea(chamomile, rose, and matcha), as well as chocolate milk(kept cold), and various juices. Later in the evening, every guest could make a personal pizza with plenty of toppings choices, and a cake would eventually be brought out, but not quite yet. Every food was completely nut free due to Rosie’s own allergy.
All around the setting were rose petals, marking the paths to the different activities. In addition, some unlit candles were resting on small tables around the area for when things got dark.
Rosie herself could be found near the front table, ready to welcome those who were coming into the party!OOC Notes-Welcome! First of all, thank you for reading all of that, I know it was a lot! True first post! Open to interactions!4/25/26Rosie was super, super proud. It had taken her...well, longer than she wanted to admit, but she'd managed to set up a little party spot in the Hogwarts Grounds for her birthday party. She'd sent out invitations by owl several days before, and hoped that some of her friends, if not all, would show up.
She finished setting the last food plate down, then walked over to the welcome table near the front of the area. She sat down on a chair so her legs didn't get tired, since she'd been standing the whole day so far.
She smoothed out her skirt, pushing her hair out of her eyes as she felt a light breeze begin to mess with it. She eventually just gave up, letting the hair blow around slightly.
She stood back up, remembering that she still hadn't taste-tested the biscuits. So unfortunate, really, that she had to go and take one to try it. Alas, such a sacrifice she had to make.
She took a bite of it, and quite liked the taste. She'd baked them earlier that day, and they were still slightly warm from the oven, which she absolutely loved.
She sat back down, wiping the crumbs from her hands, and continued to wait for others to arrive.Location~Welcome Table|Action~Waiting for others to arrive

A few days ago I got invited to Rosalyn Willow's Birthday Party. I knew her from the spring tea party where we talked. She was very nice . I had brought something cute for her. It was a gift basket. The base was a cute wicker basket and there was a cute sage green blanket and on top there was a muggle wobbles kit so she could croquette a cute bunny. I cant tell you how much of a hatsell it was for my mom to owl it to me but we managed. Besides it was worth it. I also added a candle rose planted in crushed Oreo treats. It was all tied up with a sage green bow around it. I was wearing a simple white dress with bows then I wore a pink cardigan tied with a bow in front. I also wore a white flower in my hair. I wouldn't say the outfit was SIMPLE. But it wasn't too flashy to take attention from Rosie. I was the first one there. Well, other than Rosie of course. I greeted Rosie. "Hey Rosie, Happy birthday!" I said with a huge smile. " Where do I put this?" I asked, while gesturing to the gift basket. Then I took in the area. There were bouquets of all different types of flowers, there was also a huge table full of snacks. I took mental note to go there later. There was also a green blanket at the far end of the area just for relaxing I supposed. There was a sweet flowery scent to the air. "I love the way you decorated!" I said smiling again.

@Tina Carille4/25/26Rosie was playing with her hair some more, when she heard someone else approaching her. She smoothed her hair back out before turning to whoever it was.
It was Tina! Rosie recognized her immediately, and was quite happy to see her! She first noticed the girl's pretty outfit, loving the added touch of the flower in her hair. Rosie herself was in a light pink dress, which ended at her shins. It had a lightly cinched waist, held by some white flowers. It was a slight v-neck, and she had a flower in her hair as well, which was light yellow, attached to her half-up-half-down style.
"Hi, Tina! So good to see you, thanks so much for coming!" she said, standing up to give her friend a hug. In Tina's hands was an adorably awesome looking gift basket, which Rosie was already itching to open, but knew that it'd be impolite.
"You can set that down right here! Feel free to head on in and enjoy yourself!" she said, gesturing to the table and then to the setup behind her.
"Thank you! Flowers are my favourite, in case you can't tell!" Rosie said, joking around a bit.
She was planning on waiting for a couple more minutes to greet anyone else, but she was already craving another biscuit and didn't know how long her self control would last!Location~Welcome Table|Action~Talking to Tina, Still Waiting

Jada strolled onto the school grounds. Laid out were three tables, each covered with different things to do. It was Rosalyn's birthday today! She'd received the invitation a couple days ago and had started planning everything since. The gift, the card, the outfit and look in general. Some may say it's superficial but how you looked makes the first impression on a person, therefore it was important to look good to make a good impression.
She walked towards the table next to which Rosalyn was standing, briefly hugging her. She wasn't usually a hugger but the occasion called for it. “Hii,” she said, Thank you so much for inviting me! She was determined to be her best self, if only just for today. No, arguing or fighting, especially not here. Rosalyn had dyed her hair since they’d last spoken. The tips of her hair were now a light pink, it suited her.
She pulled away before handing Rosalyn her gift. She handed over a colourfully wrapped box. She’d bought her a comb that could supposedly style your hair in any way you wanted but only worked on its owner as well as a skiving snack box (a personal favourite). ”I hope you like it!” she exclaimed.

This had been on his mind for days now, not the party per se as that part was very easy. It’s expected he was going to come. It was Bubbles after all. He’s not going to miss her birthday, no matter what, or else he’s not going to hear the end of it. It was the gift that’s been bothering him. When they were younger, it was still simple, he knew exactly what she liked. They spent so much time together that he didn’t even have to think about it. He just knows from something small, something silly, something they could both laugh about and that was enough. But things were different now.
They were at Hogwarts now with new environment, new friends, new routines, and new interests. He doesn’t know what she liked these days. If she’s got new hobbies or she liked things he doesn’t know about now. Maybe he didn’t want to get it wrong. Would she like what he picked? What if she already has one? It was annoying because he cared too much. In the end, he went for something safe and simple, or what he thought girls would appreciate. She can use it or not, that’s fine.
When he arrived, Bubbles was there welcoming her guests. He slowed down as he approached to take everything in. It was a nice setup. Some things don’t change. “Happy birthday, Bubbles.” And handed over a small box to her as his gift, and at the same time, giving his childhood best friend a loose hug. “You did all this yourself? You should have told me, I could have helped you with the setup.” There was a bit of disbelief in his tone, as well as admiration. “It looks amazing.” The setup and the effort behind it. “I’m not sure what to get you, I hope this one’s okay.”

He had started in the greenhouses. There were lots of options, but somehow it didn’t seem right. He couldn’t very well give Rosie a part of Mason either. Not to mention that Mason wasn’t his to give away in the first place. So he had moved closer to the lake. He himself preferred growing things, but he knew some liked rocks a bit too. So he scouted until he found the perfect gift by the edge of the forest. Scurrying, he gathered it and even managed to scribble a couple of words on a piece of paper too.
It was now the afternoon, and there was no missing the area set up for the party. The pink flower petals lead him in the right direction, and soon tables and activities revealed themselves. He halted by the front table, waiting his turn to greet the birthday girl. He shuffled his feet a little, keeping a tight hold on the gift.
He stepped up finally, with a big grin. «Happy birthday!» He sneaked a look at the note he held for her name. It would be rather embarrassing showing up at her celebration and calling her Thorn again. «Rosalyn» He added as he read it, before looking up at her. «This looks great! Here-» He extended his hands, holding a pot with a small fern. It could not be called big by any standard, but it looked healthy enough, in a vibrant shade of green. He shuffled his feet a bit more and dragged a hand through his hair. «I hope it’s good…»

Spring Birthday Bash!!!
Cassie walks to the grounds, holding her invitation. She is excited to be invited to Rosalyn Willows' twelfth birthday party. Rosie, a first year Slytherin, is now one of Cassie's best friends. She is a kind, optimistic girl, who always seems to be smiling and who can always make Cassie feel delighted.
This is the exact same place where Cassie held a spring tea party a month ago, and that is where she first met Rosie and became friends with her. Time really flies! Cassie exclaims. I should have arranged a birthday party for myself. she thinks, but anyway, she doesn't have many friends back then.
As she enters the grounds, Cassie notices long tables with colourful desserts, and many students there already. She smiles, after all, Rosie is so kind and friendly to everyone, no wonder she has so many friends.
Cassie doesn't come to the party with her hands empty. She takes a small green gift bag with her. Opening the bag, one would see a green velvet box. Inside the box, desplayed on black velvet is a silver and green necklace, partially handmaded by Cassie, who is a part-goblin. Since she is good at metal work, Cassie decides to make a delicate necklace in colours that matches with Rosie's house. In the middle of the silver chain is a pendant in a shape of a heart. On its back, letters R&C are carved to represent their names. The front side consists of a carved emerald, encircled by shiny diamonds.
She greets Rosie with enthusiasm the moment she sees her. 'Hi Rosie! Happy Birthday!' she says happily as she hands Rosie the gift bag.

Laasya had gotten an invitation to a birthday party on the 25th of April, which was on Saturday. At first, she was confused. She didn't seem to know anyone who had their birthday in April. But then she looked at the message more closely. It was from a Slytherin named Rosalyn Willows. But she wasn't any old Slytherin. She was, in fact, one of Laasya's first friends whom she had met in Florean Fortescue's in Diagon Alley. While waiting for a painfully long time for ice cream, they had talked a lot, which made waiting easier. She had also seen her around the classroom and during a spring tea party hosted by a third-year named Cassie Jiang. She obviously had to go, as not doing so would be incredibly rude, and besides, she would miss out on all the fun! But there was one single problem. She needed a present for Rosie. There was absolutely no way she could turn up there empty-handed, as Rosie was a really kind and amazing person. But what could she make? As she was thinking, she noticed the kit next to her on the bed, which she used to crochet. She had gotten it from home during the Christmas holidays, and she was usually doing something with it when she had nothing to do. "I know what I'll do, I'll make her a plushie!!" She spent most of her Friday evening making it and decided to keep her homework after the party was over. She then made a nice birthday card to go with it and put the plushie in a box before wrapping it and sticking the card on top. She did this all in the Muggle way, as she wasn't yet familiar with using magic for every single thing. The next day, she woke up and got dressed before leaving the dorm. Pearl, however, was in a bad mood and kept meowing while messing up her dorm. So, Laasya had to spend 8 whole minutes trying to calm her down. As soon as she was done, she sprinted off to the grounds, which was where the party was being held. She was amazed at the sight of the party decor. There were so many tables at the event: one for flower crafts, one for regular crafts, one for food, which she was going to visit for sure and the main table, which was where Rosie was standing, and all the gifts were to be placed. There was also a picnic blanket. She walked over to the main table and saw Rosie; she looked very pretty in her pink dress. "Happy Birthday Rosie!! Hope you like the gift! I made it myself! Just a question, how did you manage to organize all of this? Anyways, hope you enjoy your birthday!" She said while handing her the gift. |

"Hi, Jada! Thank you for coming, and for the gift!" she said, taking the bag that was handed to her and setting it down on the table. She'd made the decision not to open any of the gifts quite yet, though she didn't know how long that sort of self-control would last.
Next, she saw Windy. Her childhood best friend, whom she'd known for...well, a very long time! Before she could even go to squeal his name and tackle-hug him, as was their usual, he beat her to it, hugging her first. She hugged him back, happy to see him!
"Thank you! And yeah, this was all me. And the point is for you all to be guests, not a construction crew, though I do appreciate it!" she said, hearing the disbelief in his tone.
"Aww, I'm sure it'll be perfect!" she said, accepting the gift happily and setting it on the table too.
Once he'd headed in, she saw Max, from Potions. Hopefully today would be much less chaotic...
"Thank you, Max! And oh, it's perfect! I love plants, as you can probably guess." she said, already thinking about where to put the pretty fern in her room. Perhaps her desk...
"Hi, Cassie! Thank you so much, both for coming and for the gift!" she said, seeing her friend walk into the area. They'd met at the Spring Tea Party, hosted by Cassie herself, and gotten to know each other more since! She hugged the girl before taking the green bag and putting it(bet you can't guess), on the table! It seemed rather heavy for the size, and she was eager to look at what was inside!
Lastly, for those she could see at the moment, was Laasya, who she'd met at Diagon Alley, getting ice cream! They'd of course seen each other in classes and at the Tea Party, and Rosie was quite glad to have her!
"Welcome, Laasya! Thank you so so much for coming! And this looks amazing, I'm already itching to open it!" she said, giving her a hug as well. She saw the box with the card in her hands, and set that down as well.
"The organizing? Well, I sent out a bunch of invitations to all of my friends, that part was pretty simple. I've been out here for...well, a while, setting up the party!" she said, laughing a bit at the thought.
Now that a lot of people had arrived, she decided to come out from behind the table. She had many reasons to do so-firstly, talking to people. Secondly, having some fun at the party! And lastly, she was hungry again, which was most definitely reason enough for her!
"Welcome, everybody! Thank you so much for coming! We may be joined by some others eventually, but feel free to do whatever you'd like to!" she said, announcing it to all of her amazing friends. Then she went over and grabbed aLocation~Welcome Table|Action~Talking to everybody who's arrived, then going to the Food Table!
