XXXXX𝓣he room was filled with a kind of charged energy as Mylo walked through the doors that led into the duelling club. It was as though the energy from the duels that had happened during the weekend hadn't managed to thin itself out enough to become unnoticeable, which meant that Mylo had noticed it.
Memories of their own duel passed through their mind, some good, some bad, most just reminding them that they needed to become better. They had also stored all of the things he had seen during the duel they had moderated, that way he could find out what would work for him and which things they could maybe adapt to their own style.
Today wasn't about the things they could improve on though, today was about showing a new face the ins and outs of being a duelling captain and showing someone else the ropes for a change.
Walking towards one of the benches Mylo tried their very best to not start analysing their performance from over the weekend, not wanting to get so in their own head that he didn't hear the new captain come in. He had made sure to come in early so that she wasn't left waiting but maybe that hadn't been such a great idea, it was quite difficult to turn of the thoughts when it felt like they had been practically transported back onto the piste.
Showing a new person around would be a nice distraction though, if they could do it without embarrassing themselves too much that was.
