And now what?
Madison got up really early that morning, she was very excited about starting Hogwarts. She couldn't believe what was happening. She packed all her things carefully, trying not to forget anything. She had a long shower to try and release some stress but it didn't work. She got dressed and had breakfast with her family.
After about an hour they got to Platform 9 and 3 quarters. Her parents helped her with her stuff while her big brother, Ryan, stayed in the corner watching, a bit moody.
I was time to say goodbye and she couldn't help but cry a bit. "Don't cry sweetie, everything's gonna be okay" her mother said. "You can send an owl anytime if you miss us" her father added. She hugged them for a bit and the tears started to stop. She turned and saw her brother getting close to her, they made a bit of eye contact and then hugged tightly like it was the last time they were gonna see each other. "If you need me, you know where to find me, Maddie" hearing that nickname her heart melt, he always call her that and she really like it.
They said goodbye and she stepped on the train giving a last glance back. She opened a random empty cabin and sat there listening to some music.
Will someone join her or not?

About ten minutes after, Madison hears a knock on the cabin door, she turned her head and saw a girl standing there.
"Do you mind if I sit with you?" the girl asked, a bit nervous. Madison smiled and let her in, they introduced themselves and started talking to get to know each other better. After about 15 minutes a boy and a girl joined them. They all had a great time during the trip, joked and laughed a lot.
Madison was glad she met some people before that big and also a bit scary journey that she was about experience in the new school.
They got off the train and met Hagrid, they had a brief conversation with him and then they made their way in the castle. “I already love Hagrid omg, he’s so kind and funny” Madison said. Her new friends agreed with her, obviously.
They started showing their wands, animals, robe to each other, having a little challenge on who has the best things.
Walking for a bit around the castle they found other students, also older than them, to make more friends. They even saw a few professors but didn’t want to bother them.
With the guide of an prefect they got to the Great Hall before the sorting ceremony got to start.
