"Y-yes, I suppose we are," Charlie agreed. They were in fact surrounded by nature, and Charlie was most certainly near beauty: the tree above him, the flowers they each had on their person, Ka- "What that heck is going on?" he thought for a moment - he was acting most unlike himself - but that wonder ceased almost instantly as Kaden turned fully to face him, and Charlie's hazel eyes met the Hufflepuff's green ones. As the boy talked about how he liked to dance and sing and act, he could not help but to be in awe. His sister, Emily, considered herself a performer. She did all the plays at her school and sang in their church choir. Charlie loved teasing her for it, but he felt no desire to do so now with Kaden.
"You must be very talented. I mean, of course you are, I just heard that song you were singing, but you must be very talented beyond just that I mean."
"And what about you, Charlie? Just who are you?"
Charlie's mouth hung open for a moment as he felt a finger poke his chest playfully, trying not to turn pink. "Oh, I'm just Charlie. I play video games and I goof off in class, or at least I did play video games, before I mean, but I guess they don't really work here for some reason. But the class thing, yeah, I still do that. I'm just average." he shrugged.
"You must be very talented. I mean, of course you are, I just heard that song you were singing, but you must be very talented beyond just that I mean."
"And what about you, Charlie? Just who are you?"
Charlie's mouth hung open for a moment as he felt a finger poke his chest playfully, trying not to turn pink. "Oh, I'm just Charlie. I play video games and I goof off in class, or at least I did play video games, before I mean, but I guess they don't really work here for some reason. But the class thing, yeah, I still do that. I'm just average." he shrugged.

"Just average?"
Kaden tilted his head curiously as he examined the boy who described himself as 'just average'. Sure, he was wearing school robes like the rest of them, but at first glance and the words they'd exchange, Kaden struggled to see what exactly made the cute Ravenclaw boy 'just average'.
"I don't see what makes you average. I think it would be a lot more average to not goof off in class and to study in the library on a day like today. And I bet most of the others here don't even know what video games are." Kaden giggled at this last point. It always amused him how oblivious most of the pure-bloods were about the Muggle world. Then again, it also amused him how oblivious most of the Muggle-borns were about magic, though this was far more understandable considering the Ministry of Magic went out of their way to hide magic from Muggles.
"I actually think you're unique, Charlie. I can tell just from talking to you." Kaden winked at this part and flashed the Ravenclaw an encouraging smile. In reality, he had no idea if Charlie was average or not, considering they'd just met, but everyone was unique in their own way and he didn't want Charlie to feel bad about himself. "Maybe one day you'll be the greatest video game player who ever lived. Or the best at goofing off in class if that's your true passion." Kaden simply smiled at Charlie for a bit before adding a bit more.
"If you really think I'm so talented... I can sing for you, Charlie." Kaden's eyes lit up due to his love for singing and his desire to hear more words of praise from the cute boy sitting beside him.
