The child of death spread doom in her wake. Or so the voices told. Her mind was a dangerous cage to be placed in, but that's where she's been thrown. Oh dear Marcella what has happened to thou? The voice plagued her mind and poisoned every thought. Every closing of her eyes every silence of her life sent her tumbling to her inner hell. Marcella may have hid it better, but she cannot deny that keeping it hidden from now on, was futile. Darkness seeped through. All she wanted to was escape. Why her? Oh Hades, why her?
As her thoughts tumbled and spiraled, a paper pinned to the notice board caught her eye. She reached out to the paper with pale hands. 'Please help with getting rid of the fur, before we all drown in the fluffiest possible way' it said. A small smile touched her lips.
The suffocating silence clawed at Marcella, but she refused to surrender. She wished she could forget about what happened during the easter holidays as easily as she does when she's with her friends. For all her flaws, Marcella knew how to protect her friends from the bitterness that boils inside of her. A curse placed unknowingly. But no matter the struggle, Marcella would not blame fate. All humans blame fate, but it is only a scape goat to the real culprit.
Leaning on the wall next tot he notice board she pondered where they could possible help clean. Suddenly an idea popped up in her head. The rehearsal room. She took some parchment and ink and begun to write two identical letters for her friends. One, a gentle soul, a dear hufflepuff, named Ezra Calloway. To know Ezra is to know comfort, how to bask in the sun without burning. To know him is to borrow the wings of a bird that was born to soar, to love without limits. The other, a gentle yet ecstatic soul, a fellow ravenclaw, Elara Blackthorne-Vale.
After sending of the letters, she walked to her dorm so she could get dressed for the occasion. Marcella switched on her 'I'm totally not going crazy' facade on. She quickly got dressed in the most simplest attire she could find in her wonderland of a closet. She wore a oversized, deep navy button-down shirt, wide-leg, pleated culotte shorts in a neutral khaki. The heavy pleating in the shorts gave it an almost skirt like look. Alon with that she wore a knee-high black leather boots. Kind of like cowboy boots with a 'V' shape cut on the top.
She took her messenger bag, some cleaning supplies and went downstairs. She had also asked her friends to bring supplies, just in case the things she had brought was not enough.
She walked toward the rehearsal room and entered it. Large, arched windows beckoned light into the room, reflecting off the polished floorboards and brightening the dark stone walls. The ceiling was high and domed, making any sound made to reverberate around the room. Spread across the floor from the centre was the Hogwarts crest, magically painted onto the wood.
In the centre of the domed ceiling hung a decorative chandelier. Little silver birds perched on its many branches, and the candles on their backs stretched proudly towards the ceiling. By night, mysterious wing-shaped shadows were cast upon the walls, creating a flickering spotlight in the centre of the floor. The candles always remained lit, even when the corridors were quiet. One simply had to look at the silhouettes of wings on the walls to be reminded that they, too, could fly.
Whilst the odd, snide remark was not uncommon, these paintings could always be counted on to gift a performer with a hearty round of applause. Their lips were sealed when it came to the doings of the room’s previous occupant, but somehow they always had something to say to a visitor. The Rehearsal Room provided an escape for those who needed it.
Marcella entered it, and saw that the floor was filled pygmy fur of vibrant pink and purple colours. She shivered. Vibrance was surely at its worst. She began to sweep the floor as she patiently waited for herself. She tried her best at distracting herself. So she wouldn't fall back to her recently earned bad habit of getting lost in her mind.

Ezra was a child of spring. When spring blossomed, he bloomed. It gave him new energy, new life. With his newfound energy he set out from his dorm, with his messenger bag slung over one shoulder. He was on his way to help his friends clear up Hogwarts! A determined smile set itself upon his lips, and he walked with a spring in his step to the rehearsal room in which Marcella would be awaiting him.
He had spent the easter holidays at Hogwarts since his mother was unable to account for him at home. So he had had a nice, enjoyable and calm few days. Now school had started again, and which it came a catastrophe.
The school was covered in the fluff of these creatures called Pygmy puffs, and to Ezra's dismay, he realised that was indeed allergic to their fur. He had taken some meds to minimise his allergic reactions, but he would still feel itchy and sneeze a lot. He decided that he had to help get rid of this stuff. The sooner is was cleared up, the sooner he could breathe properly.
This allergy of course had not stopped him from collecting samples of both pink and purple fur to stick in his journal. His samples were in a zip-locked bag in his messenger bag, awaiting more variations of fur to be added to their collection.
Along with his personal belongings he had brought along a bottle of water and a few cleaning supplies. He was told to bring something that would help them, so he picked up some random belongings of his that he thought might serve useful.
He walked along the hallways of Hogwarts, which he was now quite familiar with. He loved this school, he was so glad he was magical. He had already made so many amazing friends and learned so many interesting things. And now it was this school that was causing him to look like he had been to hell and back.
His hair was a mess, due to him doubling over to sneeze at least four times on his way down the hallways of Hogwarts. His nose was slightly pink and swollen even thought he just took his medicine. He was wearing some cargo shorts and a loose flannel shirt along with his favourite socks and his converse. He hoped they wouldn't get too fluff covered, but he thought that was just an unlikely scenario, so he didn't worry about it much.
At this point he had reached the rehearsal room in which his friends would be. He entered, determined. Of course, the minute he stepped in he let out one loud elephant sneeze. His mother had always jokes about how he was the quietest boy with the loudest sneeze. He could have sword his sneeze sent some of the Pygmy fluff from the floor into the air.
And with his sneeze went some of his enthusiasm. No. He refused to let a silly thing like allergies ruin his day with his friend. He was determined they would have a good time and he would make sure of it. Besides his medicines should kick in any minute now.
He looked around, taking in the amount of fluff they'd have to clean. The flamboyant pink and purple fur was everywhere, in some places scarce and in some gathered as large clusters. His friend was there, sweeping some fur on the floor. "Oh Hey Marcella! It's awfully fluffy today, huh?" He said, amidst multiple sniffs. He pulled out his handkerchief and blew his nose. Oh boy. He thought. This is going to be a long day.
I have no news. I live quietly. I love you and I wait
