Dear Diary,

Tonight was my first night at Hogwarts. The boat ride was beautiful. I got sorted into Ravenclaw, the wise and creative. I'm also in the Booted Dormitory. Which represented wisdom. Which I thought was pretty cool. I was ever so nervous when they put the hat on my head.

I did a bit of light reading and apparently Slytherin has produced a lot of bad wizards. Including the guy named Voldemort. But it all turned out fine. I also read that Hermione Granger was almost put in Ravenclaw. Shes the person I'm going to try to be at Hogwarts. We're quite similar as we are both muggle borns. Since I'm a muggle born I'm going to try to be my best. What if I'm worst in class? We'll see tomorrow!
