First Flying Class

Rosy was extremely nervous. She had her first flying lesson today. It was her dream to be in the Slytherin Quidditch team but regardless, she was scared of heights and flying. She hopes the weather would be nice and thankfully, it was a warm, sunny day not too much air, perfect for flying.
Rosy walked into the pitch, ready to take on a broom. All the Slytherins and Gryffindors were there already. She went and stood between two other girls she didn't know very well. She kept glancing around looking for her best friend, even when she knew that she would not be there. Emma was in the hospital wing with a bad case of measles.
Rosy couldn't help feeling mad even when she knew it wasn't Emma's fault she had gotten sick. She just felt that Emma had left her alone in a time where she needed motivation and support.
Rosy took a deep breath as the lesson started and the teacher started talking, instructing them to loudly say"UP!" holding out their hand towards the broom but try not sound angry. Rosy held out her hand and did as the teacher had instructed. "UP!" she said and marvelously, the broom floated into her hand.
Everyone began staring at Rosy, but Rosy nervously said, "Umm..., I don't know how I did it, Really, I don't." Rosy looked around nervously hoping that somebody else was also holding a broom.

First Flying Class
@Rosy Parker!Beginning of the School YearRosie was really, really excited. For the first time in her whole life, she was going to be able to fly. Like really, truly, fly in the air on a broom. Not only that, but there was an entire class that would teach her how to do so.
After the speaking part of the lesson had concluded, Rosie prepared to do as the Professor instructed, which was to call the broom to herself.
"Up!!!" she exclaimed, not expecting the broom to come up. But, to her surprise, it did! Perhaps the extra enthusiasm from the first class had been understood by the broom. She didn't know if it worked that way. Did it? Well, she supposed she'd have to read about that later. The Library was quickly becoming her favorite place, what with all of the books and knowledge at her fingertips. Most of the people at Hogwarts seemed pretty kind so far, minus the people here and there who thought that a Muggle-Born Slytherin was practically a crime, despite none of that being Rosalyn's fault.
She looked over to the girl standing beside her. She didn't know her yet, but she seemed quite nice. She was also holding a broom, and Rosie was glad to not be the only one.
"Hi there! I'm Rosalyn, but you can call me Rosie if you'd like. Nice job with the broom, by the way!" she said, turning to the pretty girl.
"I can already tell that this class is going to be a fun subject to take. I mean, getting to learn how to fly in a school full of magic? Yes please!" she added, joking around a bit.
She began to fidget with the broom, turning it over in her hands. Her impulsive thoughts were practically screaming at her to start twirling it like one would perhaps a baton or a flag, but she didn't think that it would be the best idea of the morning. She didn't want to damage the school broom, especially since it was her very first day of this and she wanted to make a good impression, or at least not a horrible one.
"What's your name? I think I've seen you around the Common Room, right?" she said, recognizing the girl slightly. Rosie didn't believe they'd ever truly met, just seen each other in passing as members of the same house tend to.ReducioHi, Rosy! Just an FYI, this post is put as a 'chat' rather than a 'roleplay'.
