Where did we go wrong?

You know, some days and only some days, Caradoc just couldn't resist it. It had been the holidays, and these last days things had just gotten too damn busy for the old badger. In a moment where he was about to throw a fit, he instead decided to take an entirely different approach to relieving his stress. Sliding his fingers over the gramophone-like instrument, the professor pulled the horn closer so it would surely receive the next message it was about to broadcast throughout the school's halls. Hit it!
Air guitar in hand, fingers lightly strumming a well-known band's melody and a deep voice humming throughout the office. "Sun is shinin' in the sky" With swinging feet the old badger swayed himself across the floor, the music bashing loudly in his head. "There ain't a cloud in sight" He never was a concert man, but that didn't stop him from being a music man. Sometimes those jittery beats just crawled up his skin and kept him from doing anything useful. Whether it was an actual instrument they were playing or just the imaginary version, his fingers would soon find their place on the right keys. "And don't you know,
It's a beautiful new day, hey hey"
The winds were still howling cold outside, and it wasn't looking to get any better soon either. While the kids were often the loudest to complain, they sure weren't the only ones trapped inside with this kind of weather. "Runnin' down the avenue" Good ol' mister Browne needed his freedom and he was not going to find it in this dusty old office. "See how the sun shines brightly in the city" So entertainment came as a gift from his own consiousness. The music softly slipping in by his ears and his mouth would soon follow. He jumped out of the room he occupied earlier and danced around the currently abandoned hallways singing through the megaphone. Thrusting his head back and forth on the beat, the man started to cry out the lyrics as he got in the zone. "Mr. Blue Sky is living here today, hey hey"
As he kept swinging his hips from left to right, he made a pouty face as he slammed down harder on the strings of his imaginary guitar. Slidingdown on the main stair's bannister, the march through the castle had only just begun.
"Mr. Blue Sky please tell us why.
You had to hide away for so long. Sooooo long.
Where did we go wrong?"
With the imminent refrain quite literally just out of the door, Caradoc kicked his foot in the air and shuffled right down the stairs that led to the small hall. His fingers snapped in the air as the music in his head "levitated" him off the ground and started guiding him around. "Hey you with the pretty face" A complete band was now in full concert inside the professor's head. The blond haired man placed his wand behind his right ear for comfort of not having to hold the damn stick as he continued playing the "guitar". "Welcome to the human race" His voice singing loud and clear along with the imaginary band that followed his trail. "And today is the day we've waited for"
If there were any students alive in the castle at this given time, they'd certainly been made aware of the Head of House's presence. Pushing two approaching Hufflepuffs aside, he made his way through the halls. Jumping on stairs and ending up by the doors of the great hall, a wide grin played on his face as he kept on dancing. Without any hesitation or regret, the father of badgers shuffled sideways across the door opening. "Oh Mr. Blue Sky please tell us why..."

If you're reading this... You're awesome.

Serena blinked as she heard the sound of... singing? The school had been through a lot in the past months, attack after attack. It was draining, both physically and mentally. The upbeat voice made a huge change. For once, they were not being scolded about something or told there was yet another danger lurking in the school. Oh no, someone was actually singing. She tried to figure out who it was. It sounded a little familiar but she could not quite pinpoint a person. Serena definitely recognised it though. But who would actually sing so happily at these times?
She quickly found out. Her Head of House came moving down. Her eyes spotted him, before glancing to Saskia - who was standing besides her. Blinking, she gaped at him. What in Merlin's name was he actually doing? It was the Easter Holidays, yes so there was no class but... really? Was he actually on holiday? He certainly looked cheerful.
The man pushed her aside, moving past them as he made his way through the halls of the castle. "Ahh!" She exclaimed as she stumbled backwards, almost falling over but ended up hitting the wall instead. Serena caught herself at the last moment, glancing over to Saskia to see what was happening. What even was going on? She had no idea but the grin on her face painted a whole other story. Her giggle was loud, without a pause. She could barely breathe. Bending over, the girl pretty much ended up on the floor, holding her stomach and rolling in laughter. "I- have- n- what even was that-" She managed to get out, talking to Saskia as she attempted to breathe. It was hard laughing and talking - and breathing.

Annie had woken up early, walked around the bottom floor of the school and went to take a bath in the Prefect's bathroom before returning to her dorm to go back to sleep. Just as she was drifting off the ringing of music echoed through her ears. She shook her head and sat up, thinking she had heard something. Nope, instead the music was getting closer and there was a voice accompanied with it. The tune actually sounded semi familiar which made the girl want to find out what was going on and who was playing this music.
She quickly got out of bed, dressed herself and went out of the dorm room, down the stairs and out of the common room which was quite vacant. The girl stopped for a second before walking in the sound of the music. Annie heard the voice come closer and it sounded familiar. Then his face appeared around the corner. Their head of house was strolling down the hallway, singing his heart out. What. The. Bloody. Hell? "Professor, oof-" As she went to approach the Hufflepuff Head of House she got knocked backwards and due to her small frame she got pushed backwards.
The girl began to fall backwards, expecting the cold hard floor to meet her she felt herself fall into another person. "Ah oh my gosh I'm so sorry-" She looked down to see a girl, somewhat familiar with a busted lip next to her. Did I do that? I didn't think I landed too hard.. Annie glanced over at her professor and also saw Serena and Saskia looked rather confused after him. "Well looks like someone's in a good mood.." She glanced back at the girl and felt guilt flood through her and immediately offered help to the girl.

Books. It was always books. The things felt like bricks and she might as well be heaving around bricks at this rate. Her footsteps resounded down the corridors as she heaved the leather messenger bag around making her way down to the Great Hall. It was a long way down from the common room on the seventh floor but she might as well get a quick bite to eat before her remaining courseload for today. Navigating her way through the revolving maze of staircases, she pushed past any students as the lower floors came into view. Seriously, some kids had the uncanny ability of clogging up in large groups and not having any situational awareness. Dressed in her student robes and book bag in hand, she hurried down to the corridors that led to the entrance to the Great Hall. Maybe for once, she could have a normal meal in a normal place.
She was wrong. So very wrong. A singing voice flood into her eardrums..it wasn't a bad one either but it was..she looked around confused. Singing..here..at.."I'm losing it. I reall am." She muttered passing a very irritated looking portrait who perhaps was disgruntled at the singing voice as well. Okay, so she hadn't imagined it. As she neared the entrance, the voice erupted behind her, the musical vocals louder than ever and her head swiveled to glance at the offender. Elena immediatly wished she hadn't. She wished she could have walked right into the Great Hall and not seen what was transpiring. "What are-.." Confused on whether she should laugh or not, she watched in extreme shock as the Hufflepuff Head of House doing some very peculiar movements made his way down, that voice of his emitting those wondrous vocals. Well, if only he had been at that Talent Show.
"P-Professor?" She asked a bit concerned though that concern quickly turned to shock as the professor shoved past two Hufflepuffs intent on carving his route through. She was almost a hundred percent sure that maybe someone had spiked his juice or something with a Euphoria Elixir, either that or he was just..she struggled to find the right word. She didn't recgonize the lyrics he was singing either, something about the sky. Blue sky?"Professor!! She said a bit more loudly this time wide-eyed and staring at the instructor. One normal day, was that so hard to ask for."W-what..uh..are you doing?" She had never raised her voice at a professor..but still..the way he had just causually cast aside those two students..surely something was off? It had to be right?
She dropped her book bag running over to the Hufflepuffs, one of who had tumbled into someone else and kneeling next to them. "You alright?" She asked while looking up at the Head of House. This day was turning out to be a weird one and she didn't like it. Well..it was funny but in a very weird fashion.

Where did we go wrong?

Tea spat out of her mouth as she heard someone, singing. Not just singing, in fact. Using a megaphone to actually address the students... with a song. There were only a few people with access to the megaphone. She almost choked on the cupcake that she was eating along with the tea. All she wanted was one day of peace and quiet in the castle. A chance to eat cake and drink tea, in peace. Today, she opted for the Great Hall - rather than her office - to show her presence around the school. It was important, in trying times. But, she was instantly beginning to regret this.
The voice continued. Caradoc frickin' Browne, of course it was. She recognised his voice instantly. Worse, she recognised his singing voice instantly. For whatever reason, Hjørdis had heard the man sing far too many times already. Who else would be so theatrical and ridiculous?
Her hand fell onto her face, literally facepalming herself as she listened to the man continue to sing. There seemed to be no intention of stopping any time soon. Was there any logic to this madness or clear evidence of discord? Likely not. Perhaps he had finally lost the plot. Being cursed would do that to you, she would have guessed.
Hjørdis sighed audibly. He was so loud. Her facepalming hide the fact that her lips were itching to smile. It was ridiculous enough to actually make her smile but it was also just plain ridiculous. She ought to stop this madness. Yes, definitely. She would march up to him and silenco him if he did not stop. Mr. Blue Sky was definitely going to get stuck in her head for the rest of the day at this rate.
Her eyes shot up towards the door of the Great Hall, wondering where he actually was. That's when she saw him. "Oh my," She muttered under her breathe as she witnessed the sight in front of her. The man... shuffled across the corridor. Oh gosh, he was dancing. Yet again. Of course he was, why would she expect anything otherwise? He had mixed in singing with dancing. The Head of Hufflepuff was most definitely in a good mood. It would be a shame to tear that down, especially in front of the gathering groups of students. She had no idea what else to say, so she just ended up staying silent.
The Head of Slytherin shook her head, finally stopping her facepalming and recomposing herself with her usual blank expression. Every single time they interacted, he seemed to make her question everything she knew. She knew one thing for sure...
That man was going to be the death of her one day.

The sound of upbeat music accompanied by singing was what caught the girl's attention. The hallways were normally quiet at this time of the day, but it was only now that someone seemed to be in the mood to sing. An exceptionally jovial mood too. Their voice carried through the halls, and she could vaguely pinpoint who the singer could have possibly been. It didn't sound like any of the students, and it was very possible that it was a professor instead. She didn't have an idea on why they'd be out singing their heart out in the middle of the corridors, but at the very least, it was unusual.
The person in question walked further in the hall, and her eyebrows raised up when she realized who it was. The million dollar question popped up in her head: What was Professor Browne doing?
She turned over to Serena, who had been with her for some time. She probably had as much of a clue as she had about what was going on, but maybe she might have had a better theory than she had at the moment. "What's going-"
Her question was interrupted once the professor actually came toward them. "What the-" She felt herself tumble backwards at his push, barely steadying herself. A puzzled expression formed over her face. First, he made a ruckus in the hallways, apparently not caring that his singing was a public display for anyone to see, and now he shoved some students over. What was going on?
She looked over at Serena, only to see her bending over laughing. She couldn't really blame her. The sight of Professor Browne acting so silly was so strange, and she wasn't sure what to make of it. But as she looked at the older girl, Saskia couldn't help but break into a grin and joined in, easing off any tension she was feeling about the situation.
It seemed that she wasn't alone in this either. Annie stumbled upon the scene, quite literally, seeing as the Head of House had also pushed her aside for whatever reason other than being distracted in whatever music festival he was putting up, and Elena, who stopped by to help.
Pushing herself up, Saskia looked between the other girls and repeated her question once again, hoping she would actually get an answer this time. "So, does anyone have any idea what's going on, or am I the only one who's lost here?" she asked, glancing over to the professor who was probably out somewhere else by now.

The music reverberated through the halls of Hogwarts for all the students to hear and Aurelia's ears weren't an exception. Given that Aurelia was raised by conservative parents, the third year never ventured into the realm of muggle music. Only adept in a few instruments and humming to herself in the bathroom whilst under the pouring rain of the showerhead was the extend of knowledge she had on music. However, the Gryffindor would be lying if she claimed not to like the music that was playing across the halls. It had a vibrant air to it that threatened to pull a smile across the monster hunter's face.
The entrance of the professor shuffling in with a beat in his step was unexpected. It was not just a professor but the Hufflepuff head of house. He was heading her direction. Perhaps it was the oddity of the situation that caused alarms to blare in the paranoid monster hunters head. Something was wrong, especially with all that was going on, the incidents in Slytherin and Hufflepuff, Professors were unlikely to be so joyous as this one was. Had he eaten one of those candies?
The monster hunter's plan was simple, briskly swerve by Mr Browne, what was the worst that could happen? Little did she know that she was wrong. Heads down and avoiding eye contact with the Professor did she carry out her plan. But in a moment, an unfortunate Hufflepuff girl was pushed in her way, the badger's full weight thrown into her 5 stamina self. The collision had caused her to lose her balance and was sprawled on the floor. Iron met her taste buds, a sharp distinct taste of blood. Her hand wandered up to her face and her finger's gently brushing her rosy lips, collecting the moist dark red that now lined on the tender skin. It was busted. So much for a relatively good day.
"oh my gosh I'm so sorry-" the aggressor had apologised. As one who has encounters with Dhampir and Lycanthropes and was the founder fo the SWAG club herself, Aurelia had faced far worse than just busted lips. "I am fine. This just calls for another visit to the infirmary" The words left in a spiteful tone. Had the professor just shoved two students without a care in the world? "Something is wrong with him." She had said out loud, pretty much subconsciously but more in concern rather than in annoyance.

Where did we go wrong?
The third year had been on his way to an early breakfast, when he was caught off guard by the music that filled the air and spread tunes through the else silent castle. Alan stepped closer to the Great Hall and pushed open the doors and soon was able to catch a glance on @Caradoc Browne the Hufflepuff Head of House. Alan had never gotten the pleasure to interact with the man before and dared to say that this was quite a special first impression. He chin fell and he could only stare at the the adult man singing and dancing across the floor accompanied only by the music of a gramophone.
Closing his mouth again, he glanced around and was not surprised that other students had noticed the spectacle as well. How could one miss such a thing? Alan was so focused on the scene in front of him, that he did not budge and continued to stand in the middle of the door way busy to just staring at the professor. Browne was the name, wasn't it?
Finally unfreezing he closed his mouth but continued to stare at the old man and wondered if any potion had been mixed into his breakfast. Alan shook his head and let go off the door's frame as he took a few steps into the Great Hall, still occupying the entrance of it however and possibly blocking the way of a new arrival. But it was not really his fault for the professor causing such a scene. Alan was not sure how to really react, his face showing a mix of confusion, surprise and glee as his green eyes sparked with mischief.
The third year caught sight of another professor he had yet to actually interact with, another Head of House as it seemed; the Slytherin one. Alan had not done much interaction with the other Head of House's but had talked to his own a few times and even had done so before she had turned into his Head of House. @Hjørdis Jensen seemed to be equally surprised by the whole display though and was not affected by whatever the big badger was doing and it made him wonder if the man did the whole scene with full intention. Upon coming to that realization, a smile stretched over his lips turning his surprised face into an excited one in a matter of seconds. What was going on here, would be the only question left unanswered but the third year could not complain!

Where did we go wrong?
Interaction with @Jake Morris @Caradoc Browne
It was an early morning for two members of the Scamander suite. Jack and Jake had decided to take a circuitous route to the great hall for breakfast that morning. Jake was continuing on one of his extremely tedious whining rants about what is considered 'personal property,' and of course, Jack had been trying his best to ignore his little friend. However, the moment that the softly growing sound of a particular song, Jack placed his entire hand across the littlest badger's face. "Shh-sh-sh-sh- Do you hear that?" He asked his friend, honestly not caring to hear his answer. Jack knew this song. He had heard it a million times in a little dive bar filled to the brim with books and brews on the outskirts of Dublin. His father, Simon, was a muggle man who had spent most of his life through the eighties. If there were two things that Jack's father imprinted on his son, it was good movies and good music.
"Mr. Blue Sky, please tell us why!
You had to hide away for so long. Sooo long.
Where did we go wrong?"
Mr. Blue Sky, by the Electric Light Orchestra! His father's favorite song, there was no way he could ever forget the lyrics. Jack had to stop and gawk as the Hufflepuff Head of House, Professor Browne, slid down the railing of the main staircase! With a flick of his wrist, he tapped Jake's cheek excitedly. "C'mon mate!" was all he had to say, before running after Doc into the small hall. The cooky old badger must've lost all of his marbles this time, but Jack didn't care. It seemed like it'll be a helluva good time, and he would be damned sure that he wouldn't miss it. This was the time to join in on Doc's mental breakdown.

Where did we go wrong?
It was one of those days... Nico had trouble pulling herself out of bed. Alot lately... Pip had taken it upon himself to wake the Prefect, every morning. If she hadn't have him, who knew how many classes she had missed... The purple fluffball gently tugged a few strands of hair, holding it between his teeth. 'Pip.. Just a few more minutes...' He didn't give in. Only yesterday, the dhampir had told him she wanted to better herself and get back in the routine she once had. Being on time, having the three meals needed to go through a day,...Mentions @Caradoc Browne | Interacts with @Hjørdis Jensen
Tugging didn't seem to do the trick... Scittering over her back to her face, he gently slapped his tiny claws at her cheek. It didn't really hurt however it became annoying real fast. 'Piiip, quit it..' A frown on her face, Nico refused to slap or push away her fluffy companion. She knew he just wanted to help her... Why were mornings so ... hard. Finally, at loss of what else he could do, Pip bit her cheek. It felt like someone pinched her cheek with real sharp nails. 'Ow! Pip!' Still sleepy, yet angry sleepy, she sat up in her bed, rubbing her cheek.'That hurt..' Pip squealed happily. It was a succes.
Slightly grumbling, Nico got up on her feet. Washing, getting dressed, and finally: make-up. It used to take her ages but as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Her flawless porcelain skin with slightly red eyeshadow that made her blue eyes pop, was the finishing touch. 'There... You happy now?' The Puff put his little paws together as if he felt guilty for angering her. But how could she be angry at him... He's so cute and fluffy.. 'But thank you..' A warm smile slid upon her face. 'I'll be off. Seeya later..' Pip squeeked happily and rolled on her bed. Eagerly waiting for her return.
Dressed in her usual uniform, Prefect badge shimmering on her chest, Nico darted up the Slytherin stairs. Nearing the top, Nico was getting hungry. Breakfast. Breakfast would be really great... She expected a regular day, like any other. Maybe some students fighting over someone elses chickenleg or some girls pulling one anothers hair because... girls... Yet she was in for a surprise. A faint sound, the sound of music, started to become louder and louder. Slightly echoeing against the cold stone walls. What on Earth...? Arriving at the bottom of the stairs of the Great Hall, it was nearly at its loudest. Is this some kind of trick? Are they being attacked? Swiftly and curious, Nico ran up to the Great Hall. Only to witness an adult, shuffeling away in front of the huge doors. Puzzeled, the dhampir couldn't help but stare. Confused and scared at first.
Looking around her if she was the only one seeing this, Nico noticed her Head of House, Professor Jensen. 'G-Goodmorning, Professor.' Her voice was soft as she spoke, once she stood beside the white haired teacher. Feeling abit safer by her side, the redhead looked back at the spectacle. Who was this man? The amount of enthusiasm he threw in the dance and song, reminded her abit of her father. He'd usually do something similar when his favourite tune popped on the radio. His shoes slapping on the floor until her mother had enough of it. Remembering this, Nico coudln't help but feel abit more at ease with the situation.
'Is that... Professor Browne?' She never saw him in the flesh before. Not that she could recall atleast. The times she sat alone sketching in the Courtyard, she could occasionally overhear Hufflepuffs talking about him.. He was very much loved in his House, and Nico could kind of see why...
You're gonna need a bigger boat
