History
History/Background Story:
Reducio
Thomas was born on the seventeenth of May in London, England in 2014 to Edmund and Daphne Lancaster. A Half-blood he grew up between two worlds, though he is more familiar with the magical side, as his father cut ties with his family when he was younger. The absence of his muggle family never bothered him however, and he grew up with loving parents.
Thomas went to muggle school where he got to connect more with his muggle heritage, bringing him closer to his father, while on the weekends he got to help his mother in her potion lab (when he was of an appropriate age, of course), mostly by preparing ingredients or maybe by stirring the cauldron if the brew was stable.
Thomas got to spend some summers at his maternal grandmother’s house, in the English countryside, there he got to see some magical creatures, such as nifflers and in rare occasions, fairies. This led him to want to learn more about magical creatures and he started looking for books about them in his grandmother’s library. There he found a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and he was simply fascinated by what he saw and read. When his grandmother found him, on the floor with the book in front of him she simply sighed and let out a small chuckle, telling him he’d be more comfortable on a chair. From then on, he spent every day with the book, reading through it over and over.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Thomas had his first bout of accidental magic when he was eight years old. He was playing in a park with some muggle friends of his when they came across a beehive. His friends wanted to mess with the bees by throwing rocks at them, something that Thomas didn’t want to do. He then told his friends it was a bad idea, and that seemed to convince them, or at the very least they moved on to something else. Thomas stayed behind and for a bit when he heard a noise, his friends had thrown rocks at the hive from a safe distance, agitating the bees within. Thomas being the closest to the bees was attacked by the incoming swarm, but he wasn’t stung: a magical bubble had formed around him, shielding him from the swarm. However, this happened in a crowded park full of muggles, and so the Obliviators had to intervene.

Appearance:
ReducioThomas is a young boy with short blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. he has freckles on his face, arms and shoulders. At 150cm, he is average. He is also thin. Outside of classes, he dresses somewhat preppy, usually in warmer colors.Personality:
ReducioThomas is a somewhat reserved boy, not afraid of others but simply content being on his own. He tends to give off the idea that he doesn’t want to be bothered, while in truth he probably wouldn’t mind, as he is easy going. He is more of a listener than a talker -unless the conversation is about something that he particularly enjoys- and is quite good at getting a read on people’s expressions. He puts others before him -so long as they reach out to him first-, and tends to see the best in others, making him quite naïve, however if the situation is too dangerous or inconvenient he knows to say “no”. Growing up between the muggle and magical world, Thomas never truly felt like he belonged to either, instead he decided to make a world of his own, mostly via drawing. This creativity makes him aloof and in the clouds.

About...
People Places Things Olivia Cuthburt: She confuses me. It's like she refuses to change her mind about everything, no matter what. She decides she's having a bad day, and she'll make sure her day goes badly. Really strange. She also told me I creep her out because I'm too nice. But I have no business telling her how she should feel, so I just avoid her whenever possible. The Potions classroom: I don't have much to say about the classroom itself, the shelves are well organised as any potions lab ought to be, according to mum at least. Nibbles though... he's just too cute! Which is odd considering how I feel about most sentient plants. Still, I can't help it! Blood Status: On paper, being a Half-Blood is great, right? You get to enjoy the best of both worlds... Except not really. Having magic cuts you off from muggles, and yet having the tiniest amount of muggle blood makes you impure in the eyes of pure bloods. So no matter where I go, I'll never truly belong... Skylar Blue: All in all she's pretty fun to hang around, and she has great ideas! Working together on a story, for example. Though, her blue hair is certainly a choice... Not that it looks bad, in fact its pretty cool! It's just too flashy for me, I much prefer keeping to the background. The Hufflepuff Common Room: People, well mostly Hufflepuffs say we have the cosiest Common Room. I have to say I agree! Not that I have much to compare it to, mind you. After all I've never set foot in any other common room... Still there's nothing like sitting in the plush armchair near the fire, with a blanket, a nice cup of tea and a good book! Flying: Honestly I don't get all the hype around flying, and I'm not just saying that because I'm an awful flier! According to dad, humanity has always yearned for the skies, but why? As far as I can see, it's an empty expanse. How must the first flier have felt once they got up there? My bet is on emptier still...
