The Early Spring Tea Party pv members

Zephyr stepped back from the board after placing his note, his hands slipped into his pockets as he glanced at the note one last time. He was not used to posting his message for everyone to see in public but he wanted to participate anyway. He was about to head toward the tea table when he felt a light tap on his shoulder. Turning his head, he saw Bree there. “Oh, hi Bree.” They've been encountering a lot these days, they have a lot of common activities. His eyes briefly took in her appearance without lingering too long. The dress suits her. "Nice dress by the way."

There was a hint of amusement in his voice not directly at her just at the situation they were in. “You just got here?” It was a simple question, since he was busy writing, he didn't notice who else had arrived. “I just finished writing a message...” nodding toward the notes. “Not sure what everyone else is planning to put, but figured I should go with something simple. You gonna try it too?” For some reason, she was blushing while he had no idea why, he wondered if something happened before she came here. She didn't look like she had been crying either. Must be the cold weather? Though it's already spring, the cold breeze could still bite. He couldn't help asking out of concern for her, "Are you okay Br--?"

He was not able to finish what he's supposed to be saying when someone shouted his old nickname. There's only one person who calls him by that nickname. “You’ve got to be kidding me...” already knowing exactly who it was before he even turned around to acknowledge her. He didn't have enough time to react before Rosalyn crashed into him, arms wrapping around him in a tight hug. The sudden impact made him step back before they both fell onto the ground, “Oi--! Bubbles...what are you...” he breathed her name out, getting breathless with how tight she was hugging him, the name coming out as a laugh.

Again, before he can do anything, she pulled away just as quickly as she had thrown herself at him. He looked confused when she apologize for interrupting. His brows automatically pulling together. “Interrupt...what?” His gaze went toward Bree, then to Rosalyn, trying to follow whatever conclusion she jumped to in her head. He then shook his head and an amused chuckle came out before he could stop himself. “You didn’t interrupt anything, you just tackled me out of nowhere.” He was used to Rosalyn's antics, growing up, she's always been like this. If it's anyone else, he probably would have reacted differently, but with her childhood best friend, he got used to it by now.

She moved toward the board and he just watched her go, one brow slightly raised. “You’re the one who ran into me...” Although he was shaking his head again, a smile appeared nonetheless. Always dramatic and jumping to conclusions, that one. Some things didn’t change. The area around the leave-a-note boards started getting crowded. More students were coming in now. Looking around some more, he noticed Cassie going their way. Her presence and how she carried herself were familiar to him by now having worked with her in their club. He glanced at the other girl she hesitated on, “Oh right, this is Bree. Bree, this is Cassie.” giving an introduction. "Nice tea party by the way. Looking good, especially the decorations. You did well with it."

At her question, he nodded once again, “Already did.” She was already working on her own message and couldn't help noting his name written in there. She placed it on the boys’ board without hesitation so he used that opportunity to read it. Seeing what's written, he was surprised. He didn't expect it to be public like that, but she didn’t seem bothered by it either. “No problem, glad to be of help.” His eyes stayed on the note before stepping aside to give space in case another student wanted to write. Cassie slipped into conversation with the girls. She always had that energy that kept things moving. He remembered he's supposed to check the table with different teas but before he can walk away from that place, Laasya came over to write her message and greeted everyone. "Hi Asha." With nothing else to do there, he turned to the other girls, "I'll head to the tea table, in case you want to have some tea, feel free to join me?" He left it open before he started walking toward the table and poured himself some Hibiscus tea and grabbed scones with strawberry jam.

"Oh, hello there! You're Cassie, right? Thank you so much for this party, it's absolutely amazing so far!" Rosie said after hearing the girl's greeting.

Then, after she'd said hi to Windy and heard his reaction, she worried she'd misread the situation. But, if Windy was talking to a girl, whether friendly or not, she just didn't want to risk getting in the way of anything.

She had finished up with her note, so she decided to wander around for a bit. She made her way back over to the treats table, grabbing another scone, before continuing her walk around as she ate. She noticed that there were definitely more people than when she got there, and she was glad that so many people had found and been able to come to such an amazing event like this!

She walked back over to the treats tables(feeling summoned towards them by the promise of sugar), and grabbed some more Rose Tea.

"Oh, hello there! I don't think we've met yet, but I'm Rosie! Are you enjoying the party so far? And hi again Laasya, I do know you!" she said, walking back over to where Laasya and someone she didn't know were talking.

Denise was happy and impressed, seeing the beautiful party before her. She can't believe all that prep work was worth it with a beautiful party in sight. Denise was contemplating the three activities, some treats (clearly, she is rather hungry), a Polaroid camera table, and a leave-a-note board.

Denise saw the nine types of tea, impressive, but she never, if rarely, drinks tea; her grandmother insists that she is too young for caffeine, but her grandmother is not present at the moment to scold her, instead likely weeding her garden back home or knitting a new sweater for Denise. She saw Earl Grey, Chamomile, Hibiscus, Matcha, Jasmine, Rose, Chrysanthemum, Mint, and Green tea. She wasn't a fan of flowers, and tasting it didn't sound promising to this new tea drinker.

Looking around, she was intrigued by the Polaroid Photo Corner. Previously, she attended the LUMOS! Camera Club's first meeting, and smiled calmly. She felt an itch to take a photo once again and try it out, so she went over and saw three girls.

All three, she recognized Marcella di Angelo from Mix and Mingle and Persephone Grimsbane and Harumi Everdane from an unofficial Quidditch match, which went on rather interestingly...

She walked over, in the distance, seeing Persephone taking a picture of Harumi, and seeing her hair changing into pink.

Denise commented, “Oo, I like your hair, Persephone, it’s a pretty pink! I think it looks beautiful!”

Scarlet took a deep breath before heading out of the restroom. She had just finished changing into her party outfit and putting her hair up. She was super nervous about attending this party. Scarlet was grateful that she was invited and could help setup but was now having second thoughts about coming. She never had good luck when it came to parties, which is why she rarely got invited. Crowds of people she didn't know made her a bit uncomfortable, but she had vowed to try to overcome this anxiety. Hogwarts was supposed to be her fresh start, so she kept walking.

When she arrived, the first thing she noticed was how lively and aesthetic everything looked. Scarlet smiled proudly, knowing that she had helped make it look so good. She glanced around then, looking for something to do. It seemed that the other party attendees had already started to group up, so she decided to head towards the treats table first. She approached the table and looked around. All of the desserts looked dangerously delicious, but before tasting any, she wanted to have a nice, refreshing tea.

Scarlet carefully read each label for the teas, even though she had helped brew some. She rarely drank tea, unless it was a fruity one, so she wasn't sure which one she wanted to try. She decided not to be too adventurous and made herself a cup of hibiscus tea. Scarlet lifted it to her mouth and took a tiny sip, discovering that she liked the tea. Lowering her cup, Scarlet looked around with a smile, thinking that maybe this party would be different than the ones in her past.

The Tea Party was starting to get crowded. Many new faces were joining, and Ava was excited and wanted the storytelling to start soon. Looking around, she realised that she hadn't opened her gift bag yet, and she wondered what they got.

The Ravenclaw was talking to the Gryffindor, drinking her tea, when another girl interrupted them. "Oh, hello! I'm loving the party! Especially the food," Ava replied to the girl, chuckling. "I'm really looking forward to what's next! This is all so exciting!" The Ravenclaw wasn't much of a social person, but right now, she was thriving.

"By the way, what's with the leave-a-note board?" She asked the girl, remembering that she had seen her there. Wondering if she could drop by there before she has to make their way towards the centre.

Finishing her tea and the plate of cookies, she noticed Marcella was there too, talking to someone. Ava made a mental note to meet her afterwards and before the main thing starts.

She looked at the girl talking and remembered she hadn't told her her name, "Oh, I'm Ava," she said, smiling widely. The girl was so proud of the number of people she had been talking to, which she didn't really expect.
