Now to address her second question, "Of course there's people I don't like, plenty in fact. This school is full of arrogant pricks and blood purists, I'm sure you're well aware. And chances are that if they're blood purists they're also full of themselves! There's also people who take advantage of me, I usually act oblivious, but I'm well aware of that!" He took a moment to catch his breath, feeling that if he didn't, he'd be too loud and attract unwanted attention. "I just don't let them get to me, that'd be like letting them win, you know? So I just keep on being myself, and if that's being nice to the point of creeping you out, then so be it! I won't change who I am to please others."
After his hushed rant, Thomas couldn't help but feel relieved, it was unusual for to vent his frustrations out loud, as he tended to put them on paper, but oddly enough, it felt as if a weight had be lifted off his shoulders. He had said his piece, and he could only hope it helped her understand him better, if anything.

Olivia smiled, that rant sounded genuine but of course it was at the end of the day it was Thomas who was the one ranting. But at the same time she couldnt believe her ears, he ranted, to her of all people, he did get irritated, he was human. There was definitely more to him then what meets the eye, he wasn't just a total nice guy naive to the world around him.
"So what do you think of me?" she asked not really wanting to hear any criticism but intrigued to know his thoughts for once. She wanted to tease and be mean and standoffish but she couldn't bring herself to be, she found herself giving him a shot.
If her friends could hear this they would be in shock. Heck she felt like she was possessed, when did Olivia Cuthburt give people chances? once she had made up her mind about someone she stuck with it. Her parents had always told her to trust her instincts and never change her veiw on a person as it causes confusion to others. Maybe that was a stupid rule but she had lived by it all these years.
"Oh don't ever change if anything show people your scary side so they don't mess with you," she advised shocking herself once again. She quickly covered her mouth as she stood up pretending to check on the potion. What had gotten into her today, this is not how bad days continue maybe this interaction will turn sour pretty soon, she was sure of it.

“Well, at first I thought you were a bitter person, I mean every interaction with you had ended on a bad note so… yeah. But things didn’t add up because I know you’re a social person and all, so obviously my assessment of you was wrong. Now, I think you’re someone who puts a lot of importance on first impressions, and I now know I creep you out, so all our previous interactions make a lot of sense. You seem like the type of person that doesn’t look back, and I can tell you’re true to yourself, so I can respect that.”
Looking at the time, Thomas noticed that almost fifty minutes had passed, meaning that they would soon need to add the three measures of powdered Graphorn Horn. He had set it aside on purpose, and since Olivia had stood up to check on the potion, he assumed she had also noticed and would take care of it. In the meantime, he’d just continue to clean.

Olivia listened carefully to his response, he didn't hate her, she was sure he would, she was suprised to discover that the feeling wasn't mutal. She decided to hum in acknowledgement to avoid being rude before sitting back down. Could she really change her opinion on someone she thought. Thomas had continued to clean she watched him work he had a method and was quite gentle in his ways, her eyes then landed on another pair who were looking at the time and then calculating how long left.
Olivia heard thier cauldron bubble making her glanced over at the timer. She jumped up as she quickly realising that 50 minutes were up. "Oh crap," she muttered, she couldn't mess this up, she grabbed the Graphorn Horn powder and added three measurements of it into the coludron before boiling the potion for 20 seconds and placing it off the flame. She then swiftly stired it five times clockwise before waving her wand. Lucky she knew what to do next, she didnt have time to check the textbook or it would have defintly ruined all their work.
"We could have messed the potion up, you could have told me that 50 minutes were nearly up," she scolded as she carefully poured the potions into the vials. "We got lucky, your so lucky you had me," she added a little annoyed. She knew something was going to go wrong but this wasn't that bad it could have been a lot worse.

On another note, the potion safely stored into the vials, ready for grading by their professor meant that this class was over. Thomas quickly cleaned the cauldron and the ladle before putting them back on their shelf. Once he was back at the workstation he packed his books, wiped down the surface and pushed his chair under the table before picking up his bookbag. He then left without a word, the events of the lesson playing back in his mind. Honestly I don't know what's with her, things were tense at first, then we actually talk it out and the tension fades and then... Then she remembers she's having a bad day and does everything to ensure it stays that way? Ugh... no thanks.
