Silence and Peace (Open)
'Finally!' Sara thought, seating herself on top of one of the desks. 'Quiet!'
The room certainly was quiet, and that was what made it so appealing to Sara. Sara was what you might call a loner. She had almost no friends and was not at all popular. It was her first year, and she was determined to make friends despite her loneliness, but so far, she hadn't been successful. It was almost annoying to her. So many people already had friends, and she—she didn't. At least she could still write home, but there was only one person she wanted to respond, and he couldn't write back. That person was her dog, Honeydukes (Or, as Sara called him, Duke). As Sara sat in the quiet classroom, her thoughts wandered. Despite being in a quiet place, her thoughts were chaotic.
'Why haven't I finished my Charms homework yet? I know it's due tomorrow,' was her first thought, followed by many others, all about homework and school and everything else going on in her life. Sara's life was chaotic, and sometimes, she felt as if she weren't in control anymore. It just felt overwhelming. But, either way, she had to calm down. The panic got worse the more she lost control of her thoughts. As she calmed, she barely noticed the door opening and a person walking in.
