When professor Townsend had mentioned the need for tidying the castle, Jrue had kindly offered her assistance in tidying up the grand building. She had noticed the dust and fur collecting, causing other students to sneeze and stare and cough. Luckily enough, she was not one of those people. Her being raised on a farm probably had a hand in the prevention of her allergies. Albeit, her unfortunate reaction to Garlic.

With her wand in her pocket and her spring cleaning outfit assembled, she began tracing the first floor of the castle, peeking in and out of rooms. The castles tidying had begun, much of the first floor being sweeped. She made her way to the entrance of the courtyard, the sun covered by dapples of clouds. She saw a small amount of puff all across the floor, picking it up and continuing to wander around out by the campus. That’s when she saw it, noticing a sneezy, sick girl managing the fluff by herself. Jrue promptly made her way over, lashes softly pattering against her cheeks. She approached her, holding out her wand. “Care for a little help?” She smiled, swishing her wand and saying again, “Wingardium Leviosa!” as a wad of the fur floated upwards and into her hand.

“No need to do this all by yourself..!” She grinned, “particularly if one is plagued with allergies, like you do appear to be.” She nodded, bending down and perching herself on her knees as she grabbed more of the fur.

She kicked and picked at more wads and balls of fur, clearing her throat. The flowering grass and trees was awfully beautiful despite the fur, and she smiled thoughtfully. “You know, I don’t think I can even recall what a Pygmy Puff looks like-“ Jrue pursed her lips, stuffing the fur she had collected into her bag. “Have you ever seen one?” She smiled, turning around to face the girl she had aided.

<sub>"Thanks a bunch..!" she said laughing weary it seem embarrassing for her to be in a bad state but nevertheless she is glad for the help.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" many pink fur floated and came to her hands. Luckily she was able to touch the furs but not breathe them. So far she's still improving on that.

Angel noticed the girl had a similar look to herself. She couldn't help but wonder and ask but maybe later.

The fur was still alot but atleast progress is being made. One tent was already cleaned inside out.

"What's your name? My name's Angel! Angel Dayes! I hope you're not allergic to fur like this... unfortunately I think I am." she said with a disappointment sigh

The sun was shining brightly at least it cheered Angel up but unfortunately she couldn't feel it fully, only the heat. Many haven't noticed how she always covers up in sunny days like this. Again Angel wondered if the girl was the same.

"Also, apologies if I seem intrusive but I can't help but wonder if you're a half breed?" Angel asked with a whisper

Angel wasn't sure if she really was but she can't mistake people like her, she had the same pale skin like her too.

She went back and continued getting the fur

"Well I have seen one! They're really small in comparison to the books! Very cute creatures but unfortunately I don't think I can really be with them they cause my allergies."

"They also come in all pastel colors which I adore! I love pastel colors haha!" Angel was laughing again</sub>

Scarlet was known for getting the sickest during the spring season. Her allergies were so bad that she sometimes got two or three sinus infections just in the months of April and May. For some reason, she believed that she could escape her allergies coming to Hogwarts, but it seems that she is still allergic to some magical things, including Pgymy Puff fur.

Scarlet wasn't even sure what a Pgymy Puff was, but she sure knew what its fur looked like. It was everywhere! There wasn't an inch of this castle that didn't have fur hiding in the cracks and corners. She had deep-cleaned her dormitory, but it seemed that every morning she'd wake up to even more than before. In hopes of temporary relief, Scarlet exited the castle, searching for some fresh air. No relief came as Scarlet noticed all of the fur floating outside, too. This is hopeless, she thought. She looked around and noticed two girls talking. As she approached them, she noticed that they were trying to clear some of the fur. Scarlet then vaguely remembered that the Charms Professor had asked for students' help to 'de-fluff' the castle.

Not wanting to intrude on their conversation, Scarlet slowly walked up and awkwardly began to chase after some of the pink fur that was floating near the two girls. Maybe if Scarlet just quietly helped them, they would introduce themselves since she was a little too shy to introduce herself.

<sub>Noticing another Hufflepuff has joined. It was good Angel needed more reinforcements anyway. The fur was getting lighter and lighter by the second which was good!! The campsite was getting less pink and less fluffy.

"Hey! Feel free to come! We need all the help we can get!" Angel says to the hesitant Hufflepuff

"What's your name? Mine's Angel! Angel Dayes!" she told the Hufflepuff.

While waiting for answer she quickly tended to the grass as it was filled with fur, and the atmosphere was getting lighter from the pink and pastel fur of the pygmys.

Now she has to get bags of stuff for the furs, already filling up her last one. Hopefully the others are doing well with getting the fur out of the castle, many had allergies and she was one of them. The trees were omitting the colorful furs varying of different colors which made Angel sneezed a lot. It didn't help how her nose turned like Rudolph by the second and her skin being filled with dots of rashes and it was not good! So filled with desperation she went to work in a frenzy.

"Hey I said this before but thanks for helping out! It really helped me! Can't imagine what I'd do without you all!" she said towards the others she really was glad.</sub>

Scarlet was worried that the two girls would be a bit distracted to notice her but then one of them turned towards her and introduced themselves. Scarlet was excited to meet them and replied to the girl whose name Scarlet just discovered was Angel.

"Hi Angel, I'm Scarlet, Scarlet Payne! Nice to meet you both! I see you guys are also trying to clean up the pygmy fur. This stuff has my allergies really acting up."

Scarlet continued to work on cleaning up the campgrounds. It was not as easy as she thought it would be. It felt like she was spending more time running after the fur than actually cleaning it up. However, Scarlet took a moment to look around and noticed that the group had made quite a big difference. When she had first stepped outside, the fur seemed to cover the entirety of the grass, to the point where you couldn't find a patch that didn't have some pink on it. Now, though, there were only a few more spots with fur. Proudly, Scarlet smiled at the outcome of their hardwork. Angel then thanked the group for helping her out. Scarlet was happy to help, always! She replied with, "Of course! I'm just happy to help and hopefully my allergies will go away after this!"

Spring has came and Denisse is not exactly a fan of it. Sure, it's when the flowers bloom and when nature wakes up but she's not a fan of the cool breeze. There's Easter with the bunnies and the egg-hunting, but she hates the seasonal allergies. If there's a season Denisse likes, it's fall with the pumpkins, Halloween and so much cinnamon on cookies. However, the sky looks so blue, the weather seems too lovely not to walk around the campgrounds. Denisse walked down the staircases through the Entrance Hall toward the campgrounds. Her shoes hit the soft grass. Denisse had her sleeves rolled up and her wand behind her ear. Professor Townstead needed help getting rid of pygmy puff fur. Using her hands seem much easier than using a Levitation Charm when it comes to spring cleaning.

What Denisse saw was a complete disaster. Pinkish, pastel haze of pygmy puff fur is all over the place. It was a cloud of colorful debris that even the wind couldn't move. It's all over the tents and the grass like a fluffy carpet.

Some Slytherin, a girl Denisse knew from the Hufflepuff common room, Jrue, and her friend, Scarlet, were in the middle of the mess. The Slytherin girl's nose was a sharp, inflamed red that stood out sharply against her pale skin. It looked like she was fighting a losing battle with her lungs. Jrue, on the other hand, was carefully floating clumps of fluff with a swish. Scarlet looked hesitant to approach the girls.

Denisse voice cut through the sound of the Slytherin girl's sneezes.

"Merlin's beard! How many Pygmy Puffs have escaped. Hi Scarlet!" Denisse walked over to a nearby bench that was covered in a thick layer of fuzz and starts getting to work.

... My name's Angel! Angel Dayes! I hope you're not allergic to fur like this... unfortunately I think I am."

"I'm Denisse," she added, finally pulling her wand from behind her ear. "And Jrue's right. You shouldn't clean all this up by yourself, but it looks like the work has been cut out for me."

Denisse pointed her wand at a cluster of pastel fur stuck in the branches of a shrub nearby.
"Wingardium Leviosa," she murmured. She guided the floating wad of pink fluff into the bag Jrue was holding.

The sun was hot and fur was everywhere, but luckily, students are more than willing to help as much as they can.

The pink and purple fur was starting to become a nuisance to Jrue and the girl she was standing by as the fluffy balls wadded up at their feet and in the air. The spells cast on the full helped quite a bit, it was true, but the fur also floated about in the air. It was truly peeving. "I'm Jrue Peterson- Hufflepuff. It's a pleasure meeting you- I'd shake your hand but it seems as though we're both a tad preoccupied at the moment-" She chuckled, wiping a bit of fur off of her face while balancing the bags and the wand and all of the cottony material.

A nod and a smile was all Jrue gave to the mention of the adorable creatures and their fur, intent glued on cleaning up the mess. Her attention was caught though by the mention of her blood status. This was a very sudden conversation for two newly acquainted strangers to be having during a community service session. "I- why yes, yes I am. I'm a dhampir. I don't care to talk about it much- and this sun isn't any help-" She pursed her lips, wadding another ball of fur and tossing it into the bag.

More friendly faces had joined by the time Jrue looked up from her busy work. Two Hufflepuffs Jrue recognized from the common room, she noted. She didn't know them at all, but their persons were something she had spotted wandering the halls of the castle. Denisse introduced herself with a smile, gesturing to Jrue kindly. She nodded at her, waving her wand about at more of the fur and guiding it into the bag she held in her hands. "I feel like Jolly Saint Nicholas with this huge bag-" She grinned, round cheeks puffed up and pink from the joy and hard work she was putting into this. "I love all of this help we're putting into this together. Makes me very happy-" The sentimental comment slipped out, and she shook her head, gazing at the rest of the fur they had to pick up.

<sub>Realizing it might've been unexpected for such a question she retracted and bit her lip, this time she bit too hard it really bled just a bit, this time the rumors of her lips being like blood was stood corrected. Ouch, it did hurt and the sun didn't help she was flushed, but this is why she wore all only her uniform without the coat, atleast she did not wear it this time the weather was hot, noticing some sun burns as well, maybe a bit sluggish not from tiredness but how it did affected her physically.

"Ah I see, you know it's nice knowing I have someone else who is just a little bit like me. I'm also Dhampir although I don't know much about that especially my side of the family who does have vampire lineage" Angel said with a whisper

Sneezing three times in a row no maybe five, it was ridiculous or maybe as the wizarding world would say "Riddikulus!" laughing softly she shook her head

"Yeah I agree with you there, atleast I'm getting to know more people to get friends. I think I am getting a bit better knowing I have people by my side!" smiling brightly as she said that

It was true, she hasn't met anyone like her not until now.</sub>

The atmosphere had changed from cleaning colored fur to a conversation between two Dhampirs. Part vampires? Denisse paused. Come to think of it, she notices their pale skin, their sensitivity to the heat, and the way Angel's lip bled a little too vividly.
"Dhampir," Denisse muttered under her breathe. She's not judging, of course. She's just trying to understand."That explains a lot,"
She noticed Angel looking a bit sluggish from the sun, her skin showing the kind of flush that didn't look like the normal tan. It seems the two dhampirs are too sensitive to the sun and the fur is no help to their allergies.
"Let's move to the shade under the trees. I'll help carry the bags," Denisse suggested.
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ears and moved a heavy sack of pygmy puff fur to her other hand, giving a small and reassuring smile to the three girls. Although she was not a dhampir, her unusual traits in her childhood made her understand how important it is to be accepted, especially where different kinds of magic and people are everywhere.
She led the group to where the biggest oak tree was standing nearby. Its leaves made a patchwork of coolness in shaded spots on the flattened grass, making a brief escape from the sunlight. The bag was dropped by Denisse next to the other bags and she raised her arms, cracking her knuckle joints.
While the others were settling beneath the shade, Denisse took a tin from her pocket, which contained lemon drops and handed them out, "Sugar helps with the sneezing, at least from my experience,"
Denisse saw the others loosening up and suddenly got a feeling of belonging. She looked over at the campgrounds, which became not so pink and cleaned, and she felt proud in silence for their teamwork. Times like these-unusual, magical, and with some mess-were why she loved Hogwarts most.
