It was the ninth of April; the day of Ezra's birthday. The surprise party was to happen in the grounds. They had selected a secluded tree for the party. Marcella thought that Ezra would maybe appreciate some privacy as he celebrates his birthday. Marcella wanted this to be the best birthday of his life. Ophelia and Marcella had hung fairy lights and pretty lamps on the tree for a soft ambience.

They laid a picnic blanket on the ground, so they all could sit without getting themselves dirty. Marcella had woken up at the crack of dawn, way before the birds began to chirp, so she'd be able to make Ezra's birthday cakes and treats. She had put off making it until today as she wanted everything to be fresh and perfect. It was a perfect day for a party, to be honest. The weather wasn't too hot, the sun wasn't too bright, and the wind wasn't too windy either. Everything was perfect. Just the way it should be for the perfect boy.

Though it had only been a few months since Marcella had met Ezra, she had formed a very special bond with him. A bond that she believed nothing could break. She had bought him lots and lots of gifts, because he deserved it. And well mostly because she loved him a lot.

"Everything looks alright, right?" she asked Ophelia.

Sighing in relief as the last of the decorations were finished, Ophelia looked at Marcella. The said girl was wearing a floral green and light-pink dress, which suited her exceptionally well.

Her gaze then shifted from Marcella to the decorated space in the Grounds. The way the decorations -fairy lights, lamps, the picnic blanket, and the treats- made the open space look so soft, warm, and cozy made her feel some sort of pride. Was Marcella feeling that as well?

Anyhow, Ophelia was proud at how they'd managed to make this place look the way it now does. It looks way better now.

"Alright? Everything looks fantastic! Ezra's going to love it!" Ophelia exclaimed, softly grabbing Marcella's shoulders and jumping up and down a few times. It was clear she was excited to see Ezra's reaction. Oh, if she'd only had a camera with her to film it, and to take pictures!

"I'd give anything now to take some pictures of today," she groaned and let go of Marcella's shoulders. "You don't happen to have a camera with you, do you?" It was fairly unusual, Ophelia thought, for someone to bring a camera with them everywhere they went, but Ophelia couldn't help but ask. Even if Marcella did have a camera, she'd be late if she went to her dorm and brought it with her. Well, at least that meant they could enjoy the moment as it is.
