Skylar stands by the doorway of the Charms Classroom, feeling excited and nervous at the same time. Earlier in the day, she had requested to meet Professor Kitty via owls. Now she stands near the classroom, fidgeting with her robes a bit. How should she approach her Professor about this? Glancing down at the little gift box in her hand, Skylar takes a deep breath. As The Enchanted Ramadan comes to end, Skylar wanted to show her appreciation to people she is grateful for. And one of them was the one and only Professor Kitty.
Skylar had always loved Charms. It was the class she was most excited for since the beginning of the year. She wanted to learn new spells, new skills, and perhaps even the history that came along with it. And the moment she stepped into the Charms classroom on her very first day, she was not disappointed. From a skeleton concert to pastry madness, every lesson she had in this room had been nothing short of fun. It was engaging, it was interesting, and it made her happy. She would send home letters to her parents just gushing about how fun her classes were with Professor Kitty. It is bittersweet now, as she looks back on her lessons. She had already completed her first-year courses, so she can only wait for next year. But for now, she was going to give her gift to Professor Kitty, and hopefully she will enjoy this little memory as much as Skylar did.
And that little memory is the one and only tiny wooden skeleton. The skeleton had been there since the beginning of the year, from their first lesson of the Mending Charm and Dancing Feet Spell to their lesson of the Levitating Charm. It first made an appearance as a wonderful dancing skeleton, and then became the little chef, Petit Eliseo. Skylar had searched far and wide through Diagon Alley to find a miniature skeleton, until finally she managed to get it at some random run-down store in an alley.
Now the little skeleton is carefully placed in the gift box with some packing paper. After all, she would not want a repeat of the Mending Charm lesson again. Deciding she probably stood at the doorway long enough, Skylar pops her head into the room.
"Professor Kitty?" She called. Skylar slowly enters the room, the little skeleton jostling a bit in the box.
