The sparks of fire died out just as the water came. Very thoughtful of the Ravenclaws, to help ease the burning on her skin; only now, she was drenched. Soon enough Elisa found herself shivering. She wasn't doing well, a sense of lightheadedness had taken over her. She barely registered her spell missing Mylo. Well, at least he would be spared the flames.

With unbelievable strength, the Vipers had actually pulled back what was once a lopsided spectacle, having begun on the wrong foot completely. Mylo was aflame, the lightning had struck down upon Edward, and the general nature of the opposing team seemed to have been chaos. Elia, however, wasn’t looking so good herself, and Archer offered a supportive glance.
I am not even singed. My wings are untouched. You use them for everything, except flight.

Interacting with @Edward Foxe | @Jessamine Hemlock Date - 14/02/26 WC 90/50 Color Legend - Mylo | BSL | Thoughts At least he hadn't hurt anybody on his own team this time round, however the fact that the spell hadn't left their wand in the first place was not making Mylo feel any better. They had been doing so well in the beginning, or at least their teammates had been, and now it seemed like everything was going down hill.
The flames burning around them a constant reminder that they couldn't give up quite yet though, as they were only about half way through the match. Maybe things would change.

Edward continued with an Aqua Eructo and gladly hit his target. However, he also noticed that Mylo's spell did not hit her. That wasn't good. But before he could worry, he felt a hit of electricity running through him as the lightning hit him. OUCH!! Why? He thought. Why him? And why did they regularly miss their spells? It was frustrating.

Afternoon.
This round was fast in pace, both Elisa and Archer would cast the Knockback Jinx and find success in hitting Mylo, the Ravenclaw really looked like they were going to be sent to the Hospital Wing, especially as the burn from the flame did its last bit of damage; however, to his surprise, with a heal from Mylo's teammate, Edward, Mylo was just barely standing. "Woah, that's incredible! Despite taking so much damage, Mylo is still dueling!" Axyen was surprised, and also quite worried—that level of pain must've been tedious.
Jessamine would sent out a Knockback Jinx that would fly across the stage towards Elisa who was able to get out of the way in time; unfortunately for Jessamine, the storm continued its rampage and this time Jessamine was the victim of a lightning strike. "Ah! Yikes, Jessamine missed and got struck by lightning, that cloud is quite active..." Axyen said nervously, looking up at the cloud. He would then turn his attention back to the duel at hand.
However, despite being on the verge of unconsciousness, Mylo would proceed to unleash a Cracker Jinx. The aim was... perfect, it was absolutely perfect. "Woaaah..." Axyen himself was at a bit of a loss as it struck all of the Slytherins! Axyen wasn't sure what he was exactly supposed to say.
"Wow! What a round, so much has happened and— I-I don't even know what to say, this match has been surpassing my expectations!" Axyen exclaimed with a smile, but he would soon notice Elisa wasn't getting up. "Hold on—everyone pause!" Axyen exclaimed, making sure Elisa was off of the stage and ready to go for the Hospital Wing.
"Uh, okay ... We may continue..." Axyen would certainly have to be ready for something like that to happen a second time.

Interacting with @Edward Foxe | @Jessamine Hemlock Date - 14/02/26 WC 115/50 Color Legend - Mylo | BSL | Thoughts Finally, not only had they managed to get the spell to simply just work it had hit all three of the Slytherins in front of them. As Elisa dropped to the floor Mylo did feel bad though, no matter the fact that they knew this was a part of the sport having to knock someone unconscious still felt weird.
They didn't have too much time to think about it though as pain radiated throughout his body, knowing that if Edward hadn't healed him they would've joined Elisa in the hospital wing. They weren't far off though so they just had to focus, something that was becoming increasingly hard with how badly his vision was swimming.

Were they really turning the tables around? Even as his teammate was called off piste, the other side was not looking so well either, and hope was yet in the air. They just had to keep their strategy straight, and make the best use of their two remaining members. Maybe they could even pull a victory.

When he saw Mylo not in a good shape, he cast a healing spell, and it seemed it was right on time. After being hit, they did not look good despite the heal but they were still standing.
Unlike one of the Slytherins who fell to the ground after getting caught up in the cracker jinx radius.
What a duel. Edward wondered what surprises were in for them next.
