As March marched away and April arrived at Hogwarts, Kitty found herself waking up with a runny nose, aching eyes, and the constant urge to sneeze.

After an evening spent confused and a visit to the Hospital Wing to get something to relieve the symptoms, the culprit was quickly found. The chair in her office, the rug in her classroom, and every single surface in the castle, it seemed, was covered in thin or thick strands of pink and purple fluff. Pygmy puffs were shedding their winter coats, and Katherine, who had never before been in a space so full of the little creatures, had just found out that she has an unfortunate and rare allergy to their fur.

Hogwarts appeared to be overrun with pygmy puff fluff. So, after a few days of relying on potions to keep the symptoms at bay, Kitty decided enough is enough. It seemed the castle was overdue for a spring cleaning — or, well, de-fluffing. As much as she loved all the hues of pink, and as adorable as the balls of fur were, their reign of terror could not stand. Kitty put out a call to the students: please help with getting rid of the fur, before we all drown in the fluffiest possible way.

1. Pygmy puff fur has overtaken the castle! Students can roleplay sweeping up, picking up, or otherwise finding and getting rid of an avalanche of pink and purple fluff from shedding pygmy puffs, either alone or in groups of up to four people.
2. Prerequisite: Hogwarts students only.
3. Word count requirement: 600 words.
4. Group type: Solo or self-organised small groups, up to 4 people.
   You're free to start a thread for this errand anywhere in the Castle or the grounds, roleplaying out cleaning the pygmy puff fur. Feel free to organise your groups privately or find someone using RPG Partners Requests!
5. Reward: 2 house points and 10 sickles.
6. OOC start date: 4th of April, 2o26.
   OOC end date: 28th of April, 2o26.
