Melissa Blake spent her childhood in a small wizarding family that practised magic as their everyday custom, but her family members could not tolerate her remaining in one place.
Melissa chose outdoor activities, which involved tree climbing, broomstick racing and competitive games, instead of practising proper wand handling techniques with other children at the kitchen table. She hated losing. Hated it with passion.
Her accidental magic appeared everywhere she went, especially when she competed with others.
She once jumped so hard during a race that she cleared an entire fence without touching it.
A football shot from her foot formed a bending path through the air, which appeared as if it had its own brain control.
When she fell off her bike, the wind literally slowed her down before she hit the ground.
Stuff just helped her.
The magic did not want her to experience defeat.
Her parents stopped pretending it was just a coincidence after they witnessed their tenth "impossible" event.
So now they’re just waiting for the Hogwarts letter, because clearly she’s not exactly normal.
People expect Melissa to behave as a quiet, bookish girl who follows witchcraft traditions. She speaks loudly when she laughs, and her body constantly moves while she prepares for her upcoming events. Running, duelling with sticks, backyard broom practice, anything that burns energy.
Her mind remains active.
She possesses quick reflexes. Her mind operates at a greater speed than normal. She learns spells through scientific study, which she completes when she concentrates on her work.
She displays competitive behaviour while being stubborn, which makes her protect her friends and act with excessive courage.
If Hogwarts thinks it’s getting a calm, rule-following student…
They’re in for a surprise.

Melissa Blake's First Instance of Magic happened in her home. One day, when her mother got angry at Melissa, she accidentally set the tablecloth on fire. Seeing that, Eliza and Caleb were relieved that their daughter was not a Squib, since her magic didn't appear until she was 4.
