When Naomi heard the sorting hat call out Slytherin her heart sunk... But she got over it quickly. She quickly jumped off the stool and ran towards the table, she felt like all eyes were on her. She didn't care what house she got, as long as she has a great year! Looking around the table there was loads of different people, "Hi!." She said cheerfully to her house mates.

Jane was out of the Slytherin common room, where she started the pie prank. Now it was time for her to play it in public! Hehehe... Jane saw that there was a small extra table near the Slytherin table so she placed  pies there. She sat down looking casual and not suspicious at all... She took out her wand and flicked it -hiding it with her robe- "Wingardium Leviosa" she whispered, one pie lifted, slowly she moved it toward a new-comer. (Naomi) And splat! It landed right on her head, Jane was never going to get caught. Then she threw another one one at a dirty blonde boy, right at his face which was kind of hard since he had his back turned toward her. Kevin was his name? I Dont know...  Jane wanted to laugh so hard but she did not. Next, she threw one at a redheaded girl, then a random Slytherin, and even a Griffindor that passed by the table! This was fun! Jane looked over to see how many pies where left, there where only fifteen left... Jane was for sure going to keep this memory forever! She asked a random student from a different house to go around the table and whisper to everyone '3.14 its pi day'. The person obeyed her. Jane grinned this was going just fine!

"I'm so bored!"

When the sorting hat called out Slytherin, she could almost feel her heart sinking in her chest. Of the small amount of information she had gathered about the school while on the train ride, it was that you didn't want to be in Slytherin. She had hoped to be in Gyriffindor or even Hufflepuff. But as soon as the people from her new house started to applaud, her heart grew wings. She had never really been the center of attention before,  and some of the first years even offered her a seat at the table! As she sat down she promised herself that she was going to meet someone tonight. She was going to make a friend.

The moment the sorting hat had pronounced Sky as a Slytherin Sky’s heart leaped with joy! She had always hoped she would be in the house, for her mother was a Slytherin during her years, though she wouldn’t have mind being in the house her father was in HufflePuff. She had heard the amazing stories about the houses; she recalled her mother telling her of the time they all came together to play a prank on one of their housemates who had been pulling pranks on them all throughout the year. The prank was a miss sadly because the prankster had known beforehand what was going to happen and caused a big food fight to break out.
Smilingly nonetheless, she hopped off the seat bouncing on her tiptoes and headed towards the now cheering crowd of fellow Slytherins. Sky had hoped that there wouldn’t be much of a prankster this year, but the thought of a future food fight breaking out made her giggle a little to herself. Scanning the faces of her house members a few she did recognize, for she waved to them with her full smile. Quickly adjusting wavy curls of brown hair and set her sights on picking a seat. Hoping to make new friends She felt not so picky about the seats considering she wanted to be able to hear everyone if they did so want to talk to her so she took a seat, and glanced around at the nearby people.
Patiently waited in between their common talks to finally introduce herself. “Hi, I’m Sky it’s nice to meet you all! Who’s ready to eat?” She had hoped they didn’t think she would be weird and such. Gently touching her trinket bracelet around her wrist, she soon forgot all about seeming too weird to them all.

Ezekiel sat down at the table, a grin filling his face. "Hardly been here and this is already going well. Got the wanted house and didn't fall on my face on the way down." He thought to himself, glancing around at the others at the table. All the first years were nearly all in their seats, seeing how he had gone last. "I wonder what kinda trouble I can get into and not be caught." He thought, shaking his head. "No that's a bad idea." He muttered.

Soon the sorting ceremony was over and the food was served. And he was ravenous. His initial plate was eaten quickly, but quietly as he went for more. He slowed himself after that point, feeling he was eating too much for not knowing what he was to be doing after all of this. "Pace yourself Wasek." He muttered, he placed what was left of a chicken onto his plate and wiped his hands clean, glancing around the table. No one seemed to be looking at him. The first years all seemed very happy with the houses they were assigned as well, except maybe a few who got unexpectedly thrust into a house they weren't expecting. Like a Hufflepuff hopeful being pushed into Slytherin or vice versa.

Either way, Ezekiel was happy with his sorting as he went back to his meal, or what was left of it anyways. He swallowed his food and took a long sip of water. All the other tables were buzzing with energy, people happy for the first years on making it into Hogwarts to start with and not getting lost, even though we had been guided the whole way. He put down his cup and watched as it refilled, toying with the small pendant beneath his clothes.

Name's Wasek, Ezekiel Wasek

Smoothing her hair to make sure it was still glossy and shining, Rosemarie sat down at the Slytherin table. She couldn’t wait to show herself off to her new housemates. She was sure she’d win them lots of points.

Rosemarie’s eyes wandered briefly over the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor tables. The Hat could’ve put her in either one. She wondered how her time at Hogwarts would be different because she was in Slytherin. What would it be like in Ravenclaw? Or Gryffindor? The noise of Slytherins chatting around her brought her back to her immediate surroundings. This was her house now, and she was going to make sure they won the House Cup.

“Hello, I’m Rosemarie,” She said, smiling with her head held high. Rosemarie wanted to look around at the other First Years but she made sure to show off her hair, her stance, her noble heritage, first.

Rosemarie relaxed a little. It had been a long day and she was hungry. She piled potatoes and sausages onto her plate and doused the whole lot in gravy. Warm, stodgy food. Just what she needed.  The first mouthful took her full attention, but after that, she focused on the other students around her as she ate.

Isabella shuffled over to the Slytherin table, taking care to make sure no one could see how unhappy she was with her choice of house. She sat down next to girl with smooth, glossy hair and looked down at her plate so no one could see the tears threatening to spill over. She couldn't do this anymore. She didn't want to. Maybe she could go ask the headmaster to let her try on the hat again. She focused on the engraving around the edge of the plate, ignoring the cheers and yells coming from the tables. She had no interest in Hogwarts anymore. She couldn't after this. All she wanted to do was to go home. Back to her mother and her aunt. She missed them. She missed her books. She missed her dog. She even missed her siblings. All the tales she had heard from her mother and aunt about Hogwarts welcoming them, about Hogwarts feeling more like home than their own home did. This didn't feel like home to Isabella. This felt like hell. And she knew deep down in her heart that she didn't belong here. She didn't belong in Slytherin. And to think she was so excited about Hogwarts. For it all to be shattered by something as stupid as your house. She couldn't let the other Slytherins know how she felt. They all seemed so proud. She wiped her eyes. She was just going to have to suck it up and deal with it. Even if she hated it.

Dorian had just sat down at the Slytherin table quietly after she had just been sorted. She was quite relieved that was all said and done now. Right now she really needed to relax and stop over thinking things. The thoughts of what exactly made her a Slytherin though really egged her on for more thinking about. It was just so strange to her.

Maybe she would get over it eventually, or maybe she would get more out of this then she originally thought. Who knew. Dorian only hoped that she would manage to make her way through her next 7 years and come out alive.

The ceremony continued on, but Dorian was in her own thoughts and mindscapes. What could she do and achieve in the school, really anything was good so long as she did good. After a bit of thinking she brought herself back, around the table there was a few first years. So quietly but politely she introduced herself to a few of them who looked like they were second guessing the hat too. It was the best she could do right now, after all she probably wasn't the only one in her situation. She could band together with a few and maybe help them out.

The hall was bustling with activity and Eiran was overwhelmed by every bit of it; as soon as he entered the massive dinning room he felt it, an electric current of wonder and excitement that blanketed them all. The first-years were herded through the passageway and in to the hall, where they were then taken to the front of the room. Eiran couldn't help but stare wide-eyed at the older kids situated at their tables. He knew the basics of what they were doing here: that there was a sorting ceremony, and that his House was being decided soon. He didn't have to wait long.

As his name was called, Eiran hurried to the chair and plopped his narrow self in to it. The boy had been so engrossed in the gossiping voices and happy faces that he hadn't been watching the ceremony at all, so when a tall purple hat was offered to him he didn't think much of it. When the hat was placed on his head and began to speak, however, he sat up straight in his chair and looked almost cross-eyed as he stared at the brim. This might've been a very important moment in his young life - a formative one as he entered the ranks of Hogwarts for real - but the conversation between Eiran and the Sorting Hat would remain private. He could hear the object's voice in his head; or rather, he felt it as you might a high treble or pleasant bass beat.

In the end, he was sorted and sent over to the table sporting greens and silvers. The other kids applauded and cheered in their own focused way, and as he settled among them Eiran felt their eyes gradually shift away from him and towards the next child in line.

He breathed a deep sigh and began to assemble some food on to the plate in front of himself.

Jason hurried over to the table wanting to take a seat as soon as possible. Not because he was excited, but the exact opposite actually. He planted himself near the back end of the table hoping less people would pay attention to him as he wiped the tears he couldn't hold back.

His heart pounded in his chest heavily feeling as if it were to burst out of his body at any moment. The deep breaths he was taking didn't help to calm him down either. It had to be a mistake. That's what he kept telling himself as he slowly came to terms with the cruel reality of the situation. He was slowly accepting the fact that he was now apart of the very house his father was kicked out of and disgraced so many years ago.

He was still trying to figure out how this could have happened. The sorting hat said he was nothing like his father right? But he also said something else. That there was apart of him that was unlike the rest of him. Was that the reason he was sitting here? Just how much different was it from how he was now? Was he like his father in a way? That's impossible. He's nothing like that man! Nothing!

Sadly, he will just have to endure being apart of this house for the next seven years.
