BallRoom Closed

Adohiro would nod slowly and he would let her take it.  He did have a special case for it that she could borrow. He was a tad bit worried  but he decided to trust her.  There was no use in not trusting people, he needed to trust people. He thought he could gain friends easily that way if he was all trusting.  “You’re welcome! Just use the case to store it or when you’re not using it. It has memory foam and other protection in it so it should be okay.” He would tell the girl and he would stretch his arms. “It might be best to practice in here.  Your dorm mates might get curious and want to mess or play with it which will break it. It will cost my brother money and my life.” He joker.  However his brother probably would thrash him if he ever found out he lend the instrument to a girl he just met.  It would certainly be a double edged sword for him. He certainly wouldn’t want to lose his brother’s trust all and he certainly didn’t mind smooching off of his brother’s money at all. He then would help put the instrument safely away in its case. 

Harper smiled at how nice he was being towards her. She was glad that he was being such a good friend. She nodded in response when he told her it would be best to practice in the actual ballroom. "Yeah you're probably right... in here is probably best. I want to try and avoid breaking it the best I can because if I broke it I would feel terrible." She stated which was the truth. She would feel really bad if she broke this instrument. Adohiro says it's not a big deal but she would like to avoid getting him in trouble.

Once the instrument was safely in its case Harper looks up at Adohiro and smiles warmly. "Thank you again for letting me borrow this instrument to practice Adohiro." She said before getting up and stretching her legs because she didn't know exactly how long she had been sitting but when she stood up and one of her legs had fallen asleep she knew it had been for a little while. She yawned and looked at the time. It read 8 o clock pm. She looked at Adohiro once more. "We should probably get to bed. I have an early class tomorrow. I don't know about you..." She said before waving goodbye and leaving. "See you around!" She said as she headed out of the ballroom with the instrument he let her borrow and went to bed.

Grace was reading a book as she walked down the corridors, not noticing her taking a turn into a room and not just more corridor. But then stopped as she heard music, Grace looked up, it was a girl and a boy playing piano and having fun, Grace couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous, she always wanted somebody to teach her piano, but she already taught herself, she memorized piano books and learned to play “Ummm excuse me, sorry to interrupt, but which room is this? I’ve never set foot in it before” the small Ravenclaw asked, she looked around, it was quite a big room, Grace squeezed her arms tightly around her book, and she tried to find somewhere to sit. Grace sighed and sat on the floor, who cares how dirty it was, she didn’t, she sat in dirtier places. Grace hummed a tune as she read her book, her mind slipping away, and the noise dissolving to nothing, Grace noticed it wasn’t her mind, the music actually stopped, Grace looked up and the girl left the room. Grace looked at the boy “Ummm, hi” she said a bit quietly “Are you going?” Grace was trying not to be rude but it came out rudely. She sighed and went back to her book.

"Hello." Adohiro would say to the unknown girl smiling. He had not seen her around at all and he would grin. "This is the ballroom, but it has some instruments."  He told the unknown girl with a small smile wondering who she was. He noticed she was a Ravenclaw based on her robe and he would continue to study at her. He was a tad bit worried and he would chew on his lip. "Would you like to borrow the piano?" He would get off, but he studied her hands. She did not look like a pianist based on her fingers and he wondered if she wanted to learn how to play the piano. "Do you know how to play, if not I can try to teach you. Your hands do not look like a pianist this much. I am personally not a good teacher but I can try to teach you if you want to." The short Slytherin boy said to her leaning against the piano. He really hated talking to strangers, soon he heard her question if he was going to leave and he shook his head. "It depends if you want to play the piano." He said passively.

"This is the ballroom, but it has some instruments." the Slytherin told Grace, who clutched her small hands on the sides of her book. “Ummm thank you” she said, smiling, Grace started to notice that the boy was chewing on his lip, the boy then asked if Grace wanted to play piano, Grace looked at it, it was a very nice piano, but she looked back at her book, she really needed to study. "Do you know how to play, if not I can try to teach you. Your hands do not look like a pianist this much. I am personally not a good teacher but I can try to teach you if you want to." Grace heard a voice say, she looked up, it was the boy, Grace tucked her hair behind her ear “I do know how to play, I taught myself when I was 5” she explained, trying not to sound to braggy, she wasn’t bragging though. Grace stood up and took a look at the instruments, there were a few guitars, and a drum kit, there was also a violin, Grace looked down at her book, but after about a minute she looked back up, “Sorry, I’m not very good with talking, I’m not a very social girl” Grace noticed she didn’t introduce herself “I’m Grace, Grace Mint” she said, biting her nail. Grace slowly put her book on the ground and walked to the piano, she sat down and started playing a beautiful tune, Grace hummed along to the tune as she played, she made this song herself at age 7 and preformed it for her school talent show in 4th grade. Grace then finished the song and looked at the boy, “Ummm h-how did you like it?”

He would hear the girl introduce herself as Grace Mint, he swore he heard that name around and she seemed oddly familiar. He believed he had seen her around a few times in Hogwarts, was she not the one who attended the April Fools party? He had no idea and he would nod, deciding to introduce himself. "My name is Adohiro Moira. Adohiro means peace within the chaos'. I always have to say what my name means or I will get weird questions about it. It is easier to say what my name means then letting people not know." He then would see the girl play a tune and he would smile, it did sound beautiful for a small tune. He would nod his head at it and he would give a thumbs up to her. "It was a good musical piece, I liked it. You are a good pianist, sorry for doubting you." He would pick up the violin and play a tune from a Chinese drama. He was quite a good violinist for his age. He had been trained by tutors growing up, he had learned both violin and piano with ease and had the money to attend professional lessons.
