Not So Quiet Study

Cress needed to get ahead in some homework... again. Well, she was ahead in it, but didn't have much else to do. Homework seemed like the best option right now. She started out by making a list of everything she needed to study. She started from the top and worked her way down. She had this studying thing under order now.
When she started at Hogwarts, she was worried about classes but now she realized she could succeed in them, she just needed to put in that work. Cress was happy with E's but would obviously prefer O's.
Cress had her textbooks set out on the table and wasted a few minutes staring around the room at everyone else, wondering what subjects they were studying for. She saw many students who she knew had to have been at least third years. She wondered if they were studying any of the electives she looked forward to taking.
Cress had always love mathematics and wondered if such a course was taught at Hogwarts. So far the answer had been no (she didn't know why - math was so important), but apparently the wizarding world didn't value it as much as the muggle world did.

Not So Quiet Study
Mae knew she needed to start studying and picking up her grades. They were seriously lacking, I mean hey she couldn't help that she was "naturally bad" as she called it at Transfiguration and a whole bunch of other subjects. She needed to really catch up as well on homework and assignments as well, so naturally the Ravenclaw grabbed up all the notes she had taken from class, her textbooks and her quill and ink and headed for the quietest place in Hogwarts. The Study Room. Mae entered the Study Room looking most incredibly ridiculous, with her quill in her mouth and her hands trying to carefully carry all of her books in one go. She set her mass amounts of books and notes down on a table and they landed with a small-ish bang noise as the books landed on the table. Mae was met with some glares, stares and shushes as she sheepishly sat down. Mae was meticulous when it came to studying, sort of. She set all of her makeup homework in one nice and neat pile by class to the left and all of her books by class to the right. She picked up the first paper that was at the top of the pile. Charms. The second most dreaded course in History. Mae knew she wasn't being overdramatic, what she did know however is that after one too many pitfalls in the classroom with learning new charms it wasn't her greatest class, but who was counting really. She looked around the room and saw several third years including some prefects. Mae knew she shouldn't do or say anything that could get her detention, Mae made a weird face at the idea of detention.
