Blame It On The Black Star
Astrid sighed, turned the page of the heavy Runes book in front of her, and continued her reading. She was sitting in the library, left leg brought up to her chest, cheek propped up on her knee. Next to the book were her notes, runes and Russian, arrows and symbols that only made sense to her, comments written in Norwegian. She was here since lunch and her friends had one by one left to enjoy their weekend elsewhere than in the library, working.
The thing was, no one had put pressure on her shoulders. No one expected of her to be perfect with perfect grades and amazing Quidditch performances. Astrid was a little sister. She had younger cousins, but they were literal babies and toddlers. So she was considered like the baby cousin of her "batch", even in Ingrid was only nine months older. And so, she constantly felt the need to prove herself, that she wasn't their baby cousin anymore. She was part of the school's Quidditch team, she had a four year winning streak at the family competition thing, she was a fucking Animagus. But Astrid was an overachiever and she also needed to have perfect grades, or else she felt like she failed. And yeah, she usually didn't need to study much to get good grades, but just to be sure, she was getting ahead. It couldn't hurt.
Looking up at the clock, the girl realised she had been in here for over five hours. Deciding it was enough for the day, she closed the book, stretched her arms over her head, put the book back in it's place and left the library, bag over her shoulder. Making a stop to the lavatory on her way back to the dorms, Astrid stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the other girl in there. The problem wasn't the blade strapped to her waist, no that was fine, the problem was her shoulder. Her covered in blood, probably hers shoulder. "Hey, uh..." the younger girl was splashing her face and probably hadn't heard Astrid come in. "your shoulder is bleeding. Are you okay?" What do you think? "I mean, do you need help with bandaging it?"

Blame It On The Black Star
The bleeding girl turned towards Astrid and, yeah, she really didn't look fine. White hair, very pale skin - was it from blood loss?? - and her light eyes seemed a bit unfocussed. She staggered backwards, until hitting the sink, her hand now pressed against her wounded shoulder. She was in pain, Astrid could clearly see it. "I'm fine," she hissed. The older girl rolled her eyes, snorted, and announced "Sure you are. I'm taking you to the nurse, you look like you're about to faint." Call her a seer, before the younger girl could even refuse, her eyes rolled back and she tipped forward. Astrid's Quidditch reflexes made her move before she even thought about it, catching the other girl by the arms, just below the shoulders. "Well fuck".
Despite all the annoyingly death threatening situations Astrid had ever found herself in, she never thought she would ever be standing in a Durmstrang lavatory, a fainted and bleeding second or third year girl in her arms. She had to bring her to the hospital wing... a floor down. She was strong, but she wasn't sure she was strong enough to move a bloody unconscious body. Physically or emotionally. What if someone saw them? Astrid snorted. This was definitely not the worst thing this castle had seen.
Astrid maneuvered the girl's body towards the closest wall and made her back rest against it, before rolling up her own sleeves. She gently removed the fuck-ass sword the younger girl had strapped around her waist, and laid it on the wall next to it's owner. She then lifted her light body to set her on the counter, in the space between sinks, and laid her back against the mirror. Her head slumped forward a bit. Should Astrid slap her? Just to wake her up? No, that would just be hurting the wounded, and the girl already looked ready to bolt before she fainted. So she settled on tapping her cheek lightly, just to try to get a reaction out of the unconscious girl.
