History/Background Story:
Adelaide Farwley is the oldest daughter of the Farwley family. She was born on the 12th of February, in 2008, to her parents Rosalin Jane Farwley and John Edward Farwley. The whole pure-blood family has always lived in London so it was no surprise that Adelaide was born in London as well.
After two years Adelaide was introduced to her little sister Alexandra Quinn Farwley and the two Girls have been inseparable ever since their early childhood. They did everything together. From playing games in their yard to being tutored by their private Teacher, one girl was just never seen without the other. They even shared the same interest in magical beings, which they got from their father, no doubt. So it really was the hardest challenge, for the both of them, to say goodbye for a year when Adelaide got her letter from Hogwarts.
Her parents where immensely proud when Adelaide received her letter. Of course, they already knew that Adelaide had magical blood but still it filled them with pride to know that their daughter will be studying in the same halls they did. Two weeks after receiving her letter, Adelaide couldn't bare to listen to the story about her first time doing accidental magic , that her parents repeated over and over again, anymore. Actually, she believed the story to be quite embarrassing and didn't wanted to hear it ever again.
Reducio~When Adelaide was around 7 and Alexandra around 5 the both of them where playing a game of Hide'n Seek in their garden and it was Adelaides turn to search for Alexandra. The older Girl knew that her sister was really good at hiding but she didn't remember her to be that good. After about half an hour Adelaide became so frustrated with the lack of progress she made that she just kind of had a little temper tantrum and accidentally set the bush on fire her sister was hiding behind. Of course this came as quite the shock not only for the two girls but also to their parents. Adelaide thought they would get angry with her for getting her sister in danger or be disappointed in her for riling herself up but they really just got up from their sun chairs and congratulated and hugged her, telling her that they knew she would be magical and that she was sure to make them proud, no matter what. She remembered that day to be one of the most confusing but also most happiest days of her life.~
When the day came that Adelaide would take the train to Hogwarts her whole family was kind of sad to be forced to say goodbye for a year but they knew she would be able to learn so many new things and to make new friends and that was enough to make the day a happy day.
Adelaide herself was quite nervous about the sorting. She wished to be in Slytherin like her parents and really hoped the hat would consider her wishes.
When they finally arrived at the school and it was her turn to be sorted she quickly made her way up to the small chair and put the hat on top of her head. And after a few seconds of silence the hat finally announced her house, "SLYTHERIN !". She couldn't help but smile her biggest smile possible. That was it, she was in Slytherin and nothing could have made her happier.
