Dance Off - Part One
A crisp, sunny afternoon in the courtyard always attracted a crowd. Being a part of the Hufflepuff house meant that Donald was used to their weird habits already. A few of them seemed to be out in the courtyard randomly dancing. At first it almost seemed like a dancing feet charm gone wrong, but it was just that bad. These kids were not exactly dancers. Don was not amazing but he had always been decent thanks to his parents and family all being ridiculous.
"Oh... okay..," Donald said out loud as he sat on a ledge near the dancing so he could watch.
Somehow, a bit of music was playing from a magical device that one of the kids had. The songs were kind of bad too. Probably popular among wizard kids and not those with a Muggle background. It wasn't until the song changed to a Taylor Swift song that Donald knew anything. That's when he began to dance in place a bit.
"Let me show you guys how it's done." He said with a laugh as he stood up and started dancing along to 'Shake it Off'.
Pretending to brush off his shoulders and doing a bit of lip sync made him feel a bit silly but he didn't care. Ironic mockery was cool among Muggle kids. It was always a hit when these songs came on. Even though everyone secretly enjoyed it unironically. A little inspiration was taken from the official music video but mostly Donald had his own moves to portray the song.

Dance Off - Part One
Hufflepuffs were a weird bunch; that much was indisputable. Between the fires started and the pygmy puffs captured and their living quarters being located directly next to the kitchens, it wasn't at all hard to see how the whole lot of them could go totally crazy with three to four months of living at Hogwarts. Ami had been here nearly three years, so imagine how wacko she was by now.
After class was over, Ami left her bag in the common room before heading outside to take advantage of the weather. Her robes were mostly undone, her white t-shirt and sweatpants visible to the public, which she would probably get dress-coded for. Whistling a tuneless melody, her swiveled back and forth like a radar, scanning the grounds for something interesting to do. She didn't see anyone she recognized in the nearby vicinity, but she could hear music from somewhere. Was someone playing the guitar somewhere? Well, then obviously, she had to join in, right? A wide grin emerging on her face, she made her way over to the source of the music.
As she listened, her smile grew wider as she realized that the music that was playing was, in fact, Taylor Swift. What an excellent choice! Her shoulders instinctively started to shimmy, enticed by the upbeat tempo and Taylor's magnificent voice.
To her delight, another boy was dancing along to the music, and lip-syncing, too! "Hey, you!" Ami called over to him, pointing at him. "Dance-off! Right here, right now." Her shoulders bounced up and down in excitement as her noodle-like body began to convulse in the most awful way. There was no way she'd win a dance-off like this. Was this really her best dancing?
No. Of course not. Once she got all the wackiness out of her system, some real Tom Holland-level lip syncing began. Obviously, like any American, she knew every word to any Taylor Swift song to ever hit the radio waves. Facial expressions, emphatic pointing, and lots of confusing dancing took place as Ami danced her heart out to that song. Any passerby would be incredibly confused to see these two students, with a height difference of an entire 12 inches, partaking in what seemed to be the most uncoordinated dance battle of all time.

Dance Off - Part One
All faces turned to watch Donald either in amazement, disgust, or some mixture of the two. Taylor Swift was easy to dance to but there was no promise Donald would know what to do with the next songs. He just had to live in the moment until it happened. In fact, it seemed a Hufflepuff girl just as broken in the brain as himself was approaching. She began to 'wiggle' along as well in some silly way that made Donald laugh. So far she seemed fun.
Dance off? Oh man.., what if I don't know the next song? Donald asked himself internally as she demanded it.
The possessed convulsing that she seemed to call dancing did boost Donald's confidence though. The dance off challenge plus her odd style really inspired him to turn the silly knob up a few levels. Now things were about to get serious. He would accept this challenge and give it his all with no shame. The true Hufflepuff way.
"Yeah! You're on!" He replied happily as his wand slid to his hand. "Multicorfors!"
With the wand pointed at himself, Donald finished the spell which wrapped himself in red sparks until his clothes changed to a new form. The yellow and black robes marking him as a Hufflepuff student faded away to reveal a white t-shirt and jean shorts that cut off mid-thigh. His mid-section was bare as the shirt was too small but somehow fresh and stylish. Now he looked like a midget Taylor Swift backup dancer. To top it all off, his pointed wizard hat turned into a baseball cap with a big 'T'.
"Here we go!" He said while trying not to laugh at himself.
A wide stance made it easier to twerk along to the song before jumping back up to do the next bit. This was either the beginning of friendship or the start to shame so great he'd have to drop out of magic altogether. Either way, the song was coming to and end so Donald capped it off with a big butt shake towards @Ami Procoppio.

Dance Off - Part One
Ami's jaw dropped as she watched Donald change his clothes with a flick of his wand. That was a smart move, it would get the crowd (not that there really was one, to begin with) to be on his side. But if she did the same thing, she knew she'd be seen as the lame old copycat. Totally unfair! Why couldn't she have thought of that earlier?
However, her nose crinkled at his rather... strange attire. If you used magic, you might as well use it to look marginally better or cooler. Ami was the last person to judge other people based on what they wore, but not all other people were Donald Fish, it seemed. Frowning slightly, Ami made a face as she analyzed Donald's wardrobe choice; honestly, she was mildly ashamed to have someone with such bad fashion sense in the same house as her. However, it was pointless to think about such things that would only distract her from her ultimate goal: destroying one Donald Fish in an epic dance-off.
She tilted her head as the song winded down, and pointed at the poor student who was now roped into this awful dance-off. "Next song, buddy!" she yelled.
And so the next song started playing. Ami's face broke into a wide smile as she heard Rihanna's gorgeous, amazing, unattainable, and all-around perfect voice float through the air. "Great song choice!" she yelled at the poor student, and started to... flail. Really, you couldn't go wrong with Rihanna. Dancing like she was at the rowdiest gay club in Chicago, she began to perform some sort of messed up version of the Macarena.
"Na-na-na-na-na-na come on!" Ami sang at the top of her lungs, and although it wasn't anything like Rihanna's, it was surprisingly in-tune. Well, not surprisingly, since she surprisingly had perfect pitch, but still, the point remained. "Feels so good being bad!" she sang, grinning as she continued with her deranged Macarena. Shaking her butt like @Donald Fish had done before her, she pointed at him dramatically, feeling quite like Peter Quill in this moment.
