It sucks more if it's deep in the flesh (typically it is that deep if I accidently step onto the ground with the object in my foot when I'm trying to walk weird to get to a place I can sit down and pull it out.)

I dunno man, last time I *remember* being in the emergency room was back in.. 7th grade? 8th grade? and my dad picked up smoking again and I woke up at 4 in the morning with an asthma attack and the inhaler wouldn't stop it so I was taken to the ER and.. I remember worrying that I would die and how I didn't want to die.
The other time I remember going to the ER is when two eight grade boys were running as fast as they could down the hallway to "win a race" or whatever. They ran into me as I was leaving the english class I was in and I flew backwards and hit the ground so hard I had a concussion. I left the school in an ambulance and it started snowing. I don't remember much after that.

SO one time when I was like 9, I was a Girl Guide. We were doing the Astronomy night and a guy had come with his blow-up dome. We had gone inside and started learning about stars and then all of a sudden he said that in a billion some odd years (I can't remember the exact Number) The world would collide with the sun and blow-up! 9-year-old me started bawling my eyes out, and one of the guiders had to leave withe me and sit outside while I cried. Ever since then I can't go in one of those things. I had a really cool Camp this summer for ages 14-19, and they had one of those there. I would not go within 50 feet of it and avoided that part of camp the entire time I was there! Nope because well today is Monday for me. And the first thing I learn was I got a lower grade on my essay. I remember my sister playing but we had metal bedframes (bunk beds) and we were in her room before christmas, I remember that much because before we did anything it was a family guy christmas episode.
We were playing something and I ended up being shoved against the bedframe and I thought my skull had cracked XD.
But no, not worth a hospital visit so we didn't go. Long story short, there's a small bump in the back of my head towards the top. XD

injury is just a way of life i guess
my sister had a cochlear implant surgery when she was little and she decided she wanted to ride her bike, well she rode it down the hill then slammed into the fence because she couldn't stop the bike or turn fast enough. The result of this led to problems with the implant, I think they mentioned something about shocks and whatever. I dunno, I wasn't my sister and I didn't really pay much attention. But, the surgeon that did the surgery refused to take it out swearing that he did it right and that there's nothing wrong with it. We eventually got another surgeon and he fixed the problem. But anyways point is, I guess we gotta get hurt sometimes.
