Marcella was not having the time of her life. Rather, it was the opposite. The di Angelo's sat on the back of their Alfa Romeo Stelvio. "Casa. Voglio tornare a casa..." Home. I wanna go home... she said. "È solo per poche ore, tesoro. Verremo a prenderti il prima possibile." It's just for a few hours, baby. We'll come get you as fast as we can. said Maria di Angelo, her mother.
"I'm opening the Window" she said. The cool breeze softened Marcella's anger. Her Aunt Maybell hated her with a burning passion. Marcella was convinced it was because they were magic and she was a Muggle. She wasn't Marcella's biological aunt—just her (favourite) aunt Hemithea's distant relative. After thirty minutes of driving, the di Angelos had finally arrived at the Revolo residence. Aunt Maybell doesn't have any kids, and neither is she married.
Maria rang the bell. "May! We're so grateful for your help. We promise we'll be back in a few hours," said Marcella's mom. Aunt Maybella didn't even bother to say a greeting. "Just come in," she said, motioning to Marcella with a deep frown. Marcella worried that it would permanently etch on to her otherwise beautiful face. Marcella walked in hesitantly. She turned around to hug her mother and bid her goodbye. "Come get me soon!" She said already missing her parents. Her parents left after bidding goodbye to both of them.
“Get in, or I’ll close the door on you,” said her aunt, sharply.

Marcella complied obediently. The more she obeys, the less chance she'd lose her temper. "Just do something, but don't bother me. Don't mess the house up and don't be a git," Marcella frowned. That's rude. She thought bitterly.
Marcella quickly rushed into the library. There was a large painting of the demon Lilith, framed in gold. Many didn't know Marcella's middle name. She was named after the very demon the painting was based on. Marcella had read numerous books on the she-demon. There were many interesting stories. Marcella sighed and walked back and forth through the aisles, searching for something interesting to read about. She entered the poetry section. All the poem collections had been divided by their authors. She stopped in front of A.E.Houseman's section. His actual name was Alfred Edward Houseman. She had learnt about him during one of the poetry sessions Marcella had with her mother. She pulled out 'Farewell to Barn and Stack and Tree'. It was a poem composed like a ballad, which is about a farmer who had killed his brother, possibly because of a shared love interest between the two siblings. The poem begins with the speaker bidding goodbye to his surroundings and his friend, Terrance, whom Marcella loved to call Terra. The speaker is about to leave his home for ever becuase he had killed his brother, Maurice. The speaker is guilty about his crime, and he is unable to return home and face his family after having committed a federal crime.
Suddenly, Aunt Maybell grabbed the book from Marcella's hands. "What are you doing in here, freak? There's nothing to satisfy your voodoo needs here"
Angry tears welled in her eyes. Aunt Maybll began to chid her for being naughty when she hadn't done anything. An enraged Marcella caused the book she was holding to erupt into flames. Marcella and Aunt Maybell were very shocked. And for the remainder of the evening, Marcella had sat as far as possible from her aunt. And when her parents came to pick her up, she dashed into their car. "I DONE MAGIC!!" she screamed in excitement. The di Angelos had arrived home after grabbing a quick snack of Ice cream.
