I have to Dale with this Again?!?
Ana arched an eyebrow at Dale saying astronomy was one of his favorites. How could anyone like that class? They didn't learn spells that often, it cost her sleep, and she honestly didn't know what good it was going to do her in her Quidditch career or afterward as an Auror. She saw exactly zero point to the class and really, sleep was too precious to be wasted on something like that. "I just may because Astronomy is the actual worst," Anastasia said. She honestly had no idea what there was to like about it. Like, with other classes that weren't her favorite, she could at least see why others liked them.
"That's debatable, although I suppose I'm rather biased," Ana chuckled at his comment about New York being better than London. They were really too different to be compared. Paris was definitely better than either of them though. American and English food has nothing on French food, and Paris was just so much prettier. It was a tad less pleasant smelling, but Ana was willing to make sacrifices. "So, wait, you have to tell me what there is to like about Astronomy, because I simply cannot stand it at all."

I have to Dale with this Again?!?
@Anastasia BeckettDale looked at Ana's face, her arched eyebrow let him know that she probably didn't like astronomy... Most people didn't, it had very little real-world application unless you wanted to do astronomy. "What... you don't like astronomy?" Dale asked with a questioning look on his face. He personally didn't like DaDa, the class was way too hard, and its like Dale was gonna use any of the magic he learned in there. He planned to go back to hi muggle life after Hogwarts, so there was no need to learn how to "defend against the dark arts".
"Hmmm... I guess I just like learning about the starts, but I can get why its boring..." Dale said as he added the last word to his paper. He tucked it into his backpack, and then laid his arms on the table with his head nestled in between them, looking directly at Ana. "What about you, what's your favorite class?" He assumed it was something DaDa or charms, most people he met that were like Ana seemed to really like those classes, after all, they had the most magic in them, but he himself wasn't very fond of magic, only because magic wasn't fond of him.

Anastasia shook her head in reply to his question. His questioning look at her statement was rather surprising. "Ooooh, I like pretty much everything other than Astronomy. Charms is quite fun, and it's pretty easy. I would have to say my favorite is Transfiguration," she told him. She'd really liked the Charms professor her first year, so now, even with a different professor, it was one of her favorite classes. She really enjoyed everything though. "I like flying quite a bit as well. I simply adore Quidditch, and my mother used to play, so I suppose that's why."
Concealing a yawn, she scribbled another answer onto her parchment. She was really going to need far, far more coffee, but for now, she was finishing up a Charms assignment that was technically due in January. She was getting closer and closer to being all the way caught up, which was nice, but she still had a ways to go. She knew she could to it though. Anastasia genuinely believed that she could do absolutely anything she put her mind to, and she had yet to be proven otherwise. A small, dark voice in her head said that that would make it all the more painful when she did encounter something she couldn't handle, but Anastasia chose to believe that she could do anything.

@Anastasia BeckettDale thought for a second, he was having a little a trouble in charms recently... by that meant he was having to pay attention in the class instead of daydreams or going to sleep, "I might just need your help in charms and transfig... those are my worse classes." Dale didn't like flying, heights were not a thing he handled well. He still practiced flying quite a bit, he just couldn't accept the fact that he was bad at flying... at least now he wouldn't look like an idiot in class... "Flying is an iffy class for me, I'm pretty bad at it... but I enjoy flying."
Dale looked out the window, the sun was starting to set... he promised one of his dorm mates he would help him study for an upcoming test. Dale gathered up his things and stood up, he slung his bag over his shoulder. "Sorry to cut this short Ana... I promised someone id help them... sadly." Dale started to walk off, not getting too far before he turned around and asked, "You don't mind if I cal you Ana... right?" Dale wasn't sure if she was ok with nicknames. After he got his answer he would make his way back to the dorms...

Ana smiled at his reply. She certainly didn't mind helping other people with schoolwork, since she'd once read somewhere that the best way to know if you had truly mastered something was to explain it to someone else. She wasn't sure where she'd heard it, but it made sense to her. Charms were relatively simple for the most part. Second year transfiguration was like jumping out of the frying pan and onto a flaming racecar in the middle of a race. Everything was twice as complicated. Ana loved it.
Dale needed to leave, and Ana really had to get back to her homework. "Ana is perfectly fine," she told him. She gave a small wave as he left and turned back to her essay. As precious as her time was right now, it was nice to take a break and talk with a friend. The use of the word surprised her a bit, but she realized she did, in fact, consider him a friend. Tapping her quill against her desk a few times, she began to formulate the next bit of her essay. She could hardly wait to be fully caught up on assignments since this level of work was going to actually kill her if she tried to keep it up for too long.
