"I just wanted to let you know that I am a really competitive person and when it comes to pretty much anything I can get..., well competitive. I just thought you should know in case you don't want to be friends with me anymore."
With every confession Flame made, Scarlet just seemed to be more intrigued and interested in being friends with her. Scarlet knew that there were flaws in everyone and competitiveness was most definitely not the worst. Actually, it was a flaw that they both seemed to share. She and her brother would compete at everything, from sports to chores. They would even make getting ready in the morning a competition.
"Well, I'm glad you brought this up because I too can get quite competitive, especially when playing sports. I attribute it to having an older brother who took everything seriously. There was no 'just for fun' in our house. Everything came with a prize so winning was always the goal. It seems like we have this trait in common."
It felt good admitting her competitiveness and talking a bit about her home life. In the last few weeks, Scarlet had been a bit homesick, specifically for her brother. He was the only one who she felt comfortable showing that side of herself to. Being at Hogwarts has made her miss that closeness but maybe now she could have a friend that she could let her competitiveness out with.
"You and I should play together sometime! Whether it be soccer or baseball or honestly anything! I've missed playing sports."

Flame was overjoyed when Scarlet said she was also competitive! Maybe they could be competitive together against other people? Flame was so excited that she almost missed what Scarlet was saying. When Scarlet talked about missing games and then had an amazing idlers that they could play together!
Flame also missed playing sports too so this would be fun! She had even started a Soccer club here at school! “We should totally play sometime! We could play soccer or baseball because I like both!”. Flame said excitedly hoping Scarlet would get excited with her. “I even started a Soccer club here at school so that I could play sports and share my love of soccer with wizards who have never played before!”
At that moment Flame had an amazing idea! She turned to Scarlet almost bursting with excitement! “You should totally join! We need all the people we can get and it’s lots of fun! Then we can play full games together as a group!”
Flame hoped Scarlet would love her idea as much as she did. The soccer club was something important to her because it was the only hope of her getting to play full roster soccer games again! If Scarlet didn’t want to join that was fine but Flame hoped she decided to!

Flame mentioned that she would love to play with Scarlet sometime. Scarlet felt so excited about all of the promising plans that Flame and she had come up with. First, they could write something together, then they could bake something together, and now Flame was asking Scarlet if she would be interested in joining her Soccer club. Scarlet was still learning about the different clubs offered at Hogwarts, so she hadn't known that there was a soccer club, but with Flame's invitation, she would most definitely look into it.
"I would love to join your club! Could you give me some more information about it? Like, when do you meet, or what kind of commitment would I need to make? I'm a big planner, so I just need to make sure that I can fit it into my schedule."
It was clear that the club meant a lot to Flame, and Scarlet loved to see people passionate about things. She wanted to learn more and maybe discover the same passion for soccer as Flame had. No matter what, Scarlet thought it would be an amazing idea to join the club and get to spend more time with Flame as well as meet some others!

Flame was overjoyed when Scarlet Started talking about joining her club. Flame would love to have another friend on the team and was over joyed that Scarlet would like to join. Flame had never followed a schedule or written one out before so it was interesting when Scarlet started talking about that. Flame ran through the list of details about the club in her head before telling Scarlet. "Well for starters, there are sign-up sheets posted everywhere around the school! I check the sign-up sheets every other day to see the number of sign ups we have so far. To start making teams, we have to have 18 people so we can play 9 v 9's and so far we have 10 people signed up! I am, like, literally dying right now just waiting for 8 more people! Of course, we can have more than 18 people but we only need 18 people to start!" Flame was almost bursting with excitment. Then she checked her watch. "Oh no! I am going to be super late for class! Gotta go but it was nice meeting you! We should totally hang out sometime!" Flame gave Scarlet a quick hug and then ran to her next class!
