Stoned (in the knee)
Alexander breathed in and out, breathing in the fresh air of the outside. The birds were chittering and the sun was burning bright. Alexander himself was sitting at the edge of the lake. Shoes removed and bare feet dipping into the water. Enjoying the fresh and slightly chilly feeling in his feet.
He breathed in and out. He enjoyed the solitude of being here at the lake. Being surrounded by nature and everything being calm. It made for a good respite of all the work he did in class and the occasional person he talked to every so often.
It was nice.
However, at a certain point Alexander's feet went from pleasantly chilly to genuinely cold. He shook his head in light frustration though a small smile danced around his lips. Alexander then grabbed a small towel from his pocket, kept just for an occasion such as this, and made sure his feet were dried up.
He then continued on by once again putting on his socks, now actually feeling that his feet were damp and the increased effort of putting on his socks. This was followed by once more putting on his shoes and stretching out. Letting out a sigh of relief and then slowly walking up the edge of the lake. Feet going across the pebble 'beach' of the lake.
Then as he was walking up a particularly steep angle Alexander felt a rock roll away from the pressure of his left shoe. This subsequently caused Alexander to tip over forwards. Particulairly with his left knee digging into the gravel as well as both of his hands, so as to lessen the impact.
As he hit the traveled ground Alexander felt a sting of pain in both his hands and his left knee. Now mostly recovered he saw how his hands had small pieces of gravel stuck to them. And how a few small pieces were in his flesh.
Alexander though he knew what would happen if he removed them immediately, quite a bit of annoying bleeding.
And with the pain he was feeling in his left knee he was quite sure that there were more pieces of stone a little deeper in his knee. Thus Alexander simply said"Oh scheisse"

Sage wasn't too far away, in her own little space by the lake. She inhaled the fresh and warm air, dipping her feet slightly in the chilly lake in front of her. She smiled as she did this, having memories of her grandparents lake house from when she was younger. She missed that house, she wondered if she'd ever see the house or her grandparents ever again, since she was Muggle-born and her parents both think she's some kind of freak.
Tears welded in her eyes but they quickly went away as she thought of the word her parents had called her. More so her mother. Her father still loved her as his daughter, but not as a person.
Looking up, Sage let out a sad sigh before smiling again and picking up a rock and tried to skip it, that's when she heard a rock slide, like someone fell.
She quickly dried her feet off, putting her socks and shoes back on. She went to observe what made the rock slide. Upon arriving to the scene, she saw a boy with a scrapped knee and scrapped hands. She wanted to help him, but what if he didn't want her help and yelled at her to get away? Not worrying much about that, she decided to help and so she walked out. "Hey, you alright?" Sage asked the boy and went over to him "here, let me see" she said held her hands out to him for him to put the back of his in her palms so she could look at his hands.

Alexander heard something quickly come near. Aware of how vulnerable he was and with a reminder of the Slytherin common room he quickly looked up. Seeing that it was just another fellow student he relaxed a bit. Though he was still unsure why she was approaching so he had to keep being a little cautious.
Then she approached him and asked if he was alright. The honest concern he heard in her voice brought him to ease and responded. "Yeah I am alright. I didn't get hurt badly. I'll only need a little bit of disinfectant and a few bandages."
When Sage saw the palms of Alexander's hand she saw that the damage was mild/very annoying. He still had some small pieces of gravel stuck in his hand and he was bleeding quite a bit from his hand. Not enough to come anywhere near bleeding to death but enough to soak a singly layer of cloth in about a minute. So he was generally bleeding quite a bit.
Like Alexander said. The greatest worry would be an infection. Especially considering that they were outside of the castle, in an area where there were much more wild bacteria around the air.
Alexander then spoke once more and said. "I'll just walk to the hospital wing. It'll just be a short walk."

"Nonsense, no need to bother her when all it needs is some bandage and soap. Come on, I can help you, can't go in the bathroom with you but I can tell you what to do, unless you're worried about infection, it's not very severe." She said and brushed his hands softly to try and get the gravel out of his hands. Then she grabbed a bit of bandage from her bag and wrapped it around to stop the bleeding. She didn't want to seem annoying, but it was a simple would that only needed to be cleaned with soap and water and wrapped in bandage which she had.
Sage had a slight fear that she was going to get annoying trying to explain to him what he had to do with his hand and knees. Infection was very slim, Sage used to fall on her hands and cut her hands all the time, never needed stitches, it was a simple clean, wash, dry, and wrap.
However if he wanted to go to the hospital wing, then she would accompany him to make sure he got there safely. Then she would return to the lake where she planned on studying a bit.

Alexander muttered to the girl"Thank you" He then sat still as she bandaged his hands. Only slightly gritting his teeth as she removed some gravel that was left on his hands. Then his eyes narrowed in surprise and asked. "Huh, a curious thing to have in your bag. Bandage and first aid that is. You're well prepared for this kind of thing" He then stood up once more, after testing if the bandage was properly applied and would not go of his hand whilst he was walking.OOC: Sorry for the late response. Been busy with Easter and some of the Homework
Alexander then cleaned the dust and small pieces of grass and gravel that were on his robe and pants. He then stood still for a second, as if coming to a sudden realization and then he spoke again. "I have not introduced myself yet have I? How uncourteous of me. My name is Alexander Varellion. Thank you for helping me miss.... " Alexander said, leaving the question open for an answer. Whilst he was doing this several thoughts went through his head. Mainly if he should go to the hospital wing or just to the bathroom. His knee still hurt quite a bit, and so did his hand, but nothing that would seriously impede him.
He supposed he could go to the medical wing. Not really to get a'medical diagnosis' but perhaps to get some Iodine. Just in case.

"Hmm? Oh! Sage Miller at your service" Sage looked at him and smiled softly. She hadn't paid much attention to her surroundings as she was patching him up. When he said the first bit she blushed slightly. Once he was standing again, she remembered what he had said.
"I have a little sister who's just as clumsy as I am, so I'm always prepared." She shrugged a bit and looked around, her red ginger curls moved along with her head as she looked. She didn't know really why she was looking around.
She looked at him and stood there in silence for a few seconds "would you like me to accompany you to the Hospital Wing? I'm sure those sting a bit don't they?" She asked him, referring to his hand and knee. "My mother always just made me wash my scrapes with soap and water, sometimes I forget to look in others perspective and find that they aren't used to the stinging part of it." Sage smiled sweetly "I'm blabbering, sorry. It's just not every day I get to help someone or make new friends." Sage said and decided to be quiet after that and let him speak. She hoped he would let her accompany him, just to make sure he got there okay.

Alexander shrugged when Sage asked if his wound stung. "Yeah it does but I have felt far worse. It doesn't really bother me." He then rolled his shoulder and let out a small breath. Then he said.
"If you don't want to you don't need to accompany me. I know where to go and there is not much more than a few scrapes. Nothing that really hurts.". He then seemed to think for a moment before responding to the girl once more.
"Blabbering is no problem. It is nice enough to be able to talk to people. Blabbering is nice, it means that people are saying what they actually think." Alexander then slowly began walking back towards the castle. Mostly walking well though he did grit his teeth occasionally, mostly when he leaned on his left leg.
As he walked Alexander spoke to the girl next to him"So Miss Miller how are you enjoying Hogwarts? I might have seen your face sometime before but we have not really talked to each other."
As he spoke Alexander scratched a little where the bandage was. Eyes narrowing as he did so. On the one hand it did itch quite a lot, but scratching just made the pain a little worse.

Sage seemed to gasp in excitement when he said that it did not matter, about going with him to the hospital wing and the blabbering. It surprised her a bit too, she didn't expect him to be so kind to her. She definitely hoped they became friends.
"Um, well...Hogwarts is definitely far from home, but I've met some amazing people here so I really think I'll like it here. I just wish I had brought my paint, I like to paint sometimes. But mom said it was either the paint or my violin and I went with my violin" Sage responded and smiled softly as she walked with him.
"I think I've seen you around too, I've met a lot of people but I know I've seen you somewhere" Sage looked around at the trees and sky as they walked back. It was so nice outside, she wished they could go back to the lake, but she wanted to make sure he was okay first.
She could just go back once he was there, she probably would wait for him and ask if he wanted to go back, but if not then it didn't bother her and they'd go their own way. She just wanted to some extra time down there.

Alexander's eyebrows quirked up as he heard Sage talk about playing the violin. "Ah so you play the Violin. I know of it myself but never played it myself. " He then seemed to think for a moment.
"If I remember correctly the Violin uses the f-key right? I also know it has four strings but I don't know what each of them is. " Alexander's face twisted a moment.
Though it was not clear if this was from pain, deep thought/confusion or both.
"The base strings might be C,G,D,A but I am not sure."
As Alexander talked the outline of the Castle started to slowly grow nearer. Alexander himself was relieved to talk to someone a little about music. He himself played the cello but he had not taken it with him to Hogwarts. Mainly because while his parents were upper-middle class, decent music instruments were expensive. So back home he usually rented one from the music teacher. However, that meant he could not really take it with him. Furthermore whilst his scholarship was decent he eventually needed to pay it back and he did not have a lot of money to waste.
Mostly because he liked to use his money to rather buy potion ingredients. And those were expensive as well. Though they were a good investment in case of emergencies.
